Remarkable Women in Islamic History: Asiya & Hawa | Dr. Shabir Ally

Islamic history is filled with inspirational figures who we can all look up to and learn from, to be model citizens in our lives today. Normally though, when we think of history and inspirational figures, we think of Prophets, and the male companions around the Prophet. But what about the women? Those who are mentioned in the Quran and whom every man and woman can learn a valuable lessons from? With this video, we embark on a series of remarkable women in Islamic history. First, we'll cover the lives of two empowering women: Hawwa, the first woman on earth, and Asiya, the wife of Pharaoh.

Only because of the stories and how they are similar but I’m interested in learning Qu’ran because of the similarities in some of the stories my name is really similar to her and I want to learn more!!!
