    In this video, we look at the story of our mother Hajar, when she was left in a barren land, when Ibrahim started to depart, Hajar followed him, saying, ‘O Ibrahim! Where are you going and leaving us in this valley that does not have any inhabitants or anything else?’ She repeated this several times, but he was not paying any attention to her. She then said to him, ‘Did Allah command you to do this?’ Ibrahim replied, ‘Yes.’ She said, ‘Then certainly, He will not abandon us.’

    Hagar or Hajar [may Allah bless her soul] was first a slave then a wife of Ibrhim, this is nothing but a great sign.
    The woman simbologically resemble the nature of the soul (nafs/Hawwa), but the nafs it born as a slave of the Man [Ruh (simbologically Adam)] but with the characteristich to make her self free/indipendent and self commander (Nafs Al-Ammara), indeed in the narrated history of Hagar she once tried to leave the dependence of Ibrahim and Sarah, but an angel has reassured her to come back. His name meaning or one of, it is the one who 'emigrate' or 'return to', that indeed it is the meaning of "nafs al mut’ma’inna", the soul that must come back to the Lord swt. The importance of this is in the sign that Allah swt has given has, that only through the root of Agar and Ibrahim (as) we can conquer and marry the soul/nafs (the women of the right Q4.3) and come back to the Lord swt.

    • @a.i979

      I dont get it

    • @mikahel2107
      @mikahel2107 Před 5 lety +1

      @@a.i979 in the Quran, as well as in some of the Hadit, the women are often associated to the nafs (that is the soul and the ego as well).
      The nafs are 3 of a kind [as stated into the holy Quran], it is enough to "marry" (symbologically speaking) one of those to have a part in the other life [that's why we make jihad an-nafs] the third one is the one who bring the man to the perfection and then return to the Lord [reassured].
      Who reach that perfection it is said to die before to die, that means to be alive forever.
      So the story of Aghar (slave of Ibrahim) show us that the only or the best way to reach that, is through Islam.
      And Allah know best

    • @mrjey1464
      @mrjey1464 Před 3 lety +1

      I would highly recommend you not calling our beloved prophet great grandmother a slave if you truly believe in Islam you would know that she was the daughter of a king making her a princess given in hand to marry Ibrahim A.S a truly a blessing unless you want to be demonising her and your lips plus your fingers come to haunt you on the day of judgment for you ill accusations indeed lying is a sin brothers and sisters and what’s worse on those Allah has raised high in status and steadfast in Heaven for eternity while we don’t even know where our place is with Allah

      @@mrjey1464 salam aleykum Brother and Ramadam Kareem
      Since we are fasting we should try to keep our conversation in the best way possible with the best adab.
      So I think our concept of the word Slave is not the same, in Islam we define our self as Slave of Allah swt, that means to be dependent of Him jj.
      There is nothing bad, of course even a daughter of a King is slave of Allah swt and this doesn't mean that can't be a Slave of a man, many kingdom passed from one hand to another and then their "treasury", by the will of All wise swt.
      In the story of Ibrahim she was not the wife but the servant {concubine}, but the word servant is belonging to this century knowledge, at that time they were Slave and in that state she gave birth to our ancestor Ismail as, that is the ancestor of the Prophet Mohammed saws and the best and uttermost Slave of Allah swt.
      I don't see any offensive meaning in all this, as I said we may have a different understanding of the same word.
      In the shariat the man can have wifes and slaves, there is not a third category. And a King do not gift a daughter to made her a wife of another man without use the proper manner (a cerimony) and to have the dowry. But to gift a lady was generally intended as a woman to have as a servant.
      That's my humble though and surely there is no evil purpose in my heart, and Allah swt knows best.
      May Allah swt bless you and all our humma.
