She's an awsome singer. And one of the prettiest women I've ever seen in my life.
I've always had the hots for Olivia Newton-John and think she's absolutely gorgeous.
@@boardmanfan Me too buddy. Me too👍🏻😀
She's still adorable.
@@marinamartinez6886 yes she most certainly is! She's beautiful!
@@marinamartinez6886 Yes she is👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Im a man who was born in 1967 this song has always upset me i felt the same feelings its not just a song about the female perspective it works both ways
Hey man i feel you,i feel the same way,i dont know what happens but this song makes me feel blue, blue, not sad.
I was born in 1968, and as a kid, you grow up thinking all the "bad things" you won't be, so you won't lose the other person, so you can be a good man, that knight in shining armor.
The insecurity though is what cancels you, you learn later, after much hurt and much heartache, that what you demanded of yourself to be a better person, you should have also have demanded of her, also.
I was always the nice guy, even when mistreated thinking she was weaker and I had to be better. I let women walk all over me, but after I got used in a 7-year relationship, I finally wised up, when she walked away with 2 different men. She never profited though, because they treated her like she treated me and she is still single now 17 years later, and it is sad, to see her so.
Women are a little quicker to learn this in their youth, for a guy, he doesn't get it until much later.
When I started expecting more of women, I got more from women and wished I could have learned it sooner. I did that with my current girlfriend when we met 5 years ago, nipping her nonsense in the bud earlier on by walking away instead of putting up with it, and what happened was beautiful, she began to grow and be that better person, to match who I was and am, and it's now wonderful.
As a female you can obviously tell that she's hopelessly devoted as in she's dating a bad guy most likely someone who's toxic and she knows he's not good for her or there's problems in her marriage but she's not willing to give up she's saying even though their maybe problems in her elationship/marriage but im still going to be beside you even though he hurt her shes still going to love him. He's not giving her the time of day but she's going to be by him till the end how can guys not know how women feel?
@@laaulilinalauano6817 That was my point i do understand because ive had the same feelings and been in the same situation but dating a bad woman who was toxic i was devoted to her and she treated me badly but i stuck by her for years.
India you need to watch 'Grease', released in 1978... With Olivia Newton John and John Travolta.. It is a brilliant musical.. This is from that film.. It has some amazing songs in it, which I'm sure you would love..
Best wishes from Wales..
@India Reacts I second Sally Ann Lovedays motion. Watch the movie!
Also, it'd be worth your time to watch Xanadu...it's on Hulu now, I believe.
Pure corn, but great music!
@@sueg3650 I remember queueing for 3 hours to watch this at my local 'Pictures', and when I finally got in, I watched it twice through.. Oh the memories...
Best wishes to you from Wales
@@klb9142 Thank you, it always puts a smile on my face.. A cracking film for sure..
Best wishes to you from Wales
Lol. When I was a little girl I used to think Olivia Newton John, was a band called Olivia, Newt, and John.
I always loved the Rizzo songs much more. "There Are Worse Things" is still pertinent today.
love that song too. my fave in the whole movie
Love that song!
Pleaseeeeee go with this !!!!!
I could relate to Rizzo more out of the female characters. Her life struggles were more reality than fairytale, like Sandy's.
I know that song word for word and I'm a guy
Growing up, I fell in love with Olivia, Karen Carpenter and Dolly Parton. I thought they were angels. Still do.
And Linda Rostand
@@felipenunez3931 And Crystal Gayle
I've always loved Olivia, ever since I was a kid in the late 70s...and I'm primarily a metalhead. Besides this song, my other favorites are "Magic" and "A Little More Love".
me the same bro..
Everyone had at least a little crush on her. Beautiful voice. Everyone says she was one of the nicest people you could meet. RIP
Magic by Olivia Newton John from the movie Xanadu.
I have loved that soundtrack for my entire life, and I'll be 45 next month.
I wore that album out when I was a little kid. Listened to the entire thing over and over again. On the record player!
@@dawggirl It was a great album.
If you haven't seen the movie "Grease" .... classic
Think you would like it.
The movie was GREASE
Olivia Newton John - A Little More Love
That's my fav
Yes I love that one!
I think she would like that one!
Yesssssssssss
One of Australia’s finest exports
Really sad that Olivia lost her long battle with cancer. What a lovely person. Rest in peace always. We will miss you.
She has one of the most crisp and clean singing voices to date.
Olivia has the most gorgeous voice. Love, love, love Olivia for 46 years!
Have you ever seen one of her concerts? She REALLY enjoys performing and is more appreciative of her fans than a LOT of artists are. She is self-deprecative and humorous, makes jokes with the audience and makes them feel special. She is just an all-around class act!
Girl...Olivia has a lot of songs you should react to. She never disappoint. Trust me do more of Olivia Newton - John
Definitely true, Olivia Newton-John never disappointed, she was always in top form
I've been listening to Olivia, literally, since I can remember. I've always loved her voice. Also, she is SO beautiful, it is ridiculous.
Talented and certainly one of the most physically beautiful women in my lifetime.
In 1978 I was 17 and this movie and song came out, I went through a very painful First Love Break up, I would play this 45 Record over and over. 😢❤
she's gone 😢😢😢😢😢😢she was part of so many people's childhoods through the movie Grease, R.I.P beautiful Olivia
I just heard. It makes me so sad.
Olivia Newton John was probably the first singer I truly loved. Back in the early 80's, I was about 5 when I just loved Grease and her whole character in there.
When I was a youngin...Olivia Newton-John was a country music darling. Lol. One of her real oldies, Have You Never Been Mellow or If you Love Me (let me know). Really beautiful songs from her beginning
I could hear her sing all day. And that Aussie accent when she speaks.....sigh.
Now staying with the Grease theme, more specifically Grease 2. Check out Michelle Pfeifer singing Cool Rider.
Yes, not as good as the first one, but still entertaining. : )
Let's rock, let's roll, let's bop, let's bowl!
Love Olivia Newton-John. Such a talented singer, entertainer, composer.
Olivia Newton-John has a great catalogue of songs stretching from her start in country music in the early 70s to her pop crossover in the early 80’s. A few outstanding selections I recommend would be “I Honestly Love You”, “Xanadu”, and “Please, Mister, Please”.
Olivia is a goddess and one of the kindest souls to grace the earth! I admire this woman unmeasurably not only for her talent, beauty and angelic voice but even more for her charitable work.
ONJ is absolutely one of a kind. I can't imagine anyone still today that could have done better with these songs and this movie. Now as I'm older knowing what she went through in her personal life these songs even mean more.
She has a nice duet with Andy Gibb, *I can't help it,* and with Cliff Richard, *Suddenly,* oh, and John Denver, *Fly Away.*
The first woman I ever loved....at 6yrs old. ❤️❤️❤️
Same feeling with same woman but I think I was younger than you
beautiful song. and a great movie. Olivia had some great songs and a bigtime voice.
Try Olivias "I Honestly Love You"
One of her first and best. Also Please Mister Please.
React to Olivia and Cliff Richard singing "Suddenly". Great Song.
She's done a couple other duets
Andy Gibb, cliff Richard, John denver, and a couple on the xanadu soundtrack
Wrote the same comment, then I saw yours.
My favorite!
jodan4 I've always loved that song, and it's on my favourites playlist. I had high hopes for Sir Cliff and ONJ, but it wasn't to be...
@@LadyDoe17 There is a cover band in Australia who are just fantastic and they cover many songs. Suddenly is one of them. Their name is Hindley Street Country Club. Check it out and comment.
Olivia has the voice of an angel.
When I hear this song, it reminds me of when I saw this movie, when it first came out, in the summer of 1978. School was around the corner; and when I saw this scene, I could already feel the cool Fall nighttime breeze that was soon to come.
I hear it.. I cry .. that’s it , nothing left to say
She has a voice as smooth as melted butter.
RIP!! Just heard about the passing. Amazing singer and actress 👍👍
Farewell dear Olivia.
We will meet down the road!
"Physical" - Olivia Newton John
Already done! You can see it at 0:28.
She sang it to perfection,-and I love the movie. ...Tony
I'm pretty sure I could sing every song from Grease by heart, I've seen that movie so many times. It's not Olivia, but if you haven't seen it yet you might check out "Beauty School Dropout."
She will always and forever be my crush. Love you Olivia ❤
Olivia Newton is fantastic
If Not For You, I Honestly Love You from 1974, If You Love Me Let Me Know, Magic, Let Me Be There are just a few of her songs to react too...
We Aussie's feel like we have lost a daughter!!!!RIP Olivia
Fly Away is a duet with John Denver. This a a beautiful song sung by two incredibly beautiful voices. A must listen!
I often think Olivia Newton-John was born in the wrong era she reminds me a lot of a young Doris Day in this scene. If Olivia had been born 30 years earlier she would have been the queen of the musicals.
he was a lovely man! ❤ YES he was!!!!!
Luv Olivia
RIP Olivia 🙏🏾
RIP Olivia.
Ah Olivia ! Love her !
Honestly, I would love to hear what you think about the entire movie. All the songs being heard together really gets you feeling everything. I've always and will forever love this movie!
India when she sang this song I do not know of a man on earth who was not in love with her including myself. Glad you enjoyed it. She can sing.
Olivia was the girl of my dreams in the 70's
This is why I love you India, you are full of love and light, kinda hard not to return the sentiment.
Perhaps the most heartfelt reaction video I have seen. Applause!
she's the queen
I always loved this song.
She had a great voice I grew up on her music
She's still a beautiful woman at age 72. In the 70s she made a bunch of covers, one of them Jolene written by Dolly Parton. I had a big crush on her as a 16 year old. Well, still have after 46 years ;)
What a classic, along with the movie,
Sweetest VOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think weve all been there at one time or another.
This was inspired by Skeeter Davis's "End Of The World". It was the First and Only Song she ever did that was nominated for an Oscar. The Man who wrote alot of her songs is John Farrar who in the 1960's was part of an Australian Group called The Strangers. Check Out Australian Stars from the 1960's you'll see some amazing talent.
One of my favourite Olivia Newton John songs what a voice 🙏
I think you would love A Little More Love.
Hi India. FYI: This song is from the musical "Grease" - which was released in 1978 but the story takes place in 1959.
I would love for you to watch the movie "Grease" with us. In the age of Covid19, we all have the time.
Rest in peace Olivia😰
This song was not originally in the stage play. It was written by Cliff Richards, especially for her in the film. John Travolta also had a special solo written for him, in the film, entitled “Sandy”.
Keep fighting Olivia , stay strong , , going head to head with Cancer again💔💔 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Those pauses lol. Nice observation. Olivia just hits all the notes here.
Great song. Love Olivia. Also John Travolta is everything. I don’t know if you are aware, but John’s wife Kelly Preston passed away a couple of days ago. My heart is broken for him and his children.
I have a saying, about the love of my life,
"i am devoted, long after my obligation is dead." Still true. Even after 10 years! He is the love of my life. And I pray he found happiness. I love ONJ. all her music. I am a grandma. This was popular when I was a teen. And I LOVE watching your reactions! YOu are so full of personality! Much love from KY
my all time crush!
Yes we can relate, beautiful song.
Brings me to tears every time I listen to this song.
Everything about it transcends all barriers. It was well written and arranged. Miss John's interpretation was impeccable. After viewing several live performances, it is clear she owned this masterpiece.
Xanadu is an awesome song
Love her voice
I like "Don't Walk Away" by ELO from the Xanadu movie too. It had that cartoon video embedded in the musical film.
She is phenomenal, beautiful reaction 😘😏
If you haven't seen the movie "Grace" need to check it out .... Classic
Olivia Newton-John she's was it back in the day.....❤️
She's so beautiful. Been through alot
Very pretty voice
Olivia was a good friend with, and loved Karen Carpenter very much.
I love her! But I prefer her songs from her early years. All of her stuff is good, just my preference. HAVE YOU NEVER BEEN MELLOW, SAM, PLEASE MR. PLEASE, ect...
Such a beautiful song. They don't write them like this anymore.
My fav Grease song. Oliva hits those notes!
Yeah, this whole clip is from the musical movie she starred in called “Grease” . You HAVE TO watch it!!!
This was a great song she did in the movie "Grease". It's definitely one of the best films of the 70s. John Travolta, who also starred in it, has an amazingly good singing voice as he showed in the songs he did for his role.
She had a big hit song called “Let Me Be There” that is my wife’s favorite of hers.
I loved Grease and Grease 2, but not as much as my son when he was a toddler. He figured out the VCR and would watch both movies back to back for most of the day, while he played. He wore those tapes out!
Grease and Dirty Dancing and Pretty in Pink are my all time favorite movies
India,
You will love her song Suddenly, a duet with Cliff Richard .
Olivia is as good as a songstress gets. Her range is amazing and she floods a song with emotion.
😅amazing reaction….jajaja….
Every female who watched Grease sing this song word for word
Rest in peace Olivia 😢
Xanadu, you MUST watch this musical wonder!
Such a lovely voice and soul.
