Keep in mind is that Danny Zuko in Grease broke her heart and although she acts like she doesn't care but deep down she's hurting. This was actually inspired by a Song called "The End Of The Road" by Skeeter Davis. The Man who wrote this song was John Farrar who wrote a large chunk of her Songs. He was in Two Groups, The Strangers & The Shadows.
I had such a crush on her growing up. I was just a kid in the 70s but I was smitten!

It’s from the classic movie Grease. It was a summer romance movie. Was a great sound track set in the 50’s-60’s. Try you’re the one that I want from the same movie. It’s more up beat. Maybe more your style.

Olivia Newtown-John and John Travolta were both hesitant about making this movie. Both in their 30s, they were cast as HS kids. ONJ is the innocent baby doll (good words) romantic. JT is a part-time gang member with a switchblade who, like all his friends, has s*x as his #1 obsession. This is one of the gentler songs. Others are good hard dancers tunes. And the musical is a totally funny, entertaining movie.
