I think that lying could be tied to certain mental conditions such as narcissism or ASPD. I’m not a doctor but I’ve dealt with all kinds of people and the liars always seem to have certain traits of those conditions. Just a thought.

Throughout the years of abuse Amber has put Johnny through. The court has to prove just one time if Johnny abused Amber. That is so messed up. She abused him for years and if one time he fought back, even in self defense, then she wins. What a shame. What a vote of confidence for men suffering through abusive relationships to step up.
As a man who went through years of psychological, emotional, verbal, and even physical abuse (not constant, but pretty regularly), after years of trying to make it work, taking it (which is a whole nother conversation), I can tel you that you reach this point where you eventually strike back, in some way. Hopefully not physically, but in defense of yourself, let’s just say I could even see that happening. Either way, Then you like wake up. Like look what this woman is turning me into... and you kinda snap out of it one day, like I gotta get OUT of this. And then the manipulation and coercion and gaslighting and bargaining and so on starts. They trap you. Especially if they’ve finagled your financial freedom away in some way. Ugh. Anyway. I feel bad for Johnny, bc as anyone whose been through it, man or woman, I’m sure, you can SEE the signs of the abused and the abuser and you can see Johnny has suffered at the hands of this sick woman.

She looks his direction the entire time, hoping to catch his eye, so she can try to intimidate or hurt him even more. I'm sorry you went through all of what you did, it's not right for anyone to be subjected to that. I went through it, but my ex is a narcissist and extremely good at charming people, and though he never physically attacked me, his words and behaviors, and the things he's done to our children to hurt me, are all things I feel on a physical level as well.
It's absolutely disgusting that our legal system allows for someone to get away with ruining the life and career of someone else based on a perceived instance of abuse, especially when they instance was them defending themselves and fighting back against the actual abuser! The only thing I can hold onto is the hope that the truth is being realized and Amber is being exposed for the monster she is, and even if Johnny doesn't win this suit, he still gets his livelihood back and is given the jobs back that he lost. Hopefully his children are not harassed or put through anything more either.

Well, she's "crying", 🙄 but we can't really say she's "in tears", because I haven't seen an actual tear yet. I mean, whenever she's "crying", and she has a tissue, she wipes her nose repeatedly, but never has to wipe her eyes. If somebody is crying enough that they would need to wipe their nose, they would most certainly have tears in their eyes, and they would eventually run down their face. But oddly enough, we haven't seen it happen. Seriously, not even once.
The only time we're going to see her legitimately cry, and see ACTUAL tears, is when Johnny wins.
As a victim of all types of abuse, rape and gang rape I dont understand her reactions at all.
I know everyone is different but hearing my abuser telling lies had me so upset angry embarrassed etc a rollercoaster of emotions. There are things I cannot talk about I just can't the memories are to horrible.
I start to shake and tears come out even when I sit silent.
Again everyone reacts different but this is just so strange...
Where in J.D you can see the pain and the trauma. I feel for him because this courtcase for the whole world to see and every wound is opened up again, what a nightmare.

As in other recordings of this hearing, you can see that Amber is sitting facing so that she can supposedly look at the lawyers while they talk, but she is purposely sitting so that she can look in Johnny's direction. She is flat out looking in the direction of her supposed abuser, many times looking directly at him with a smug look on her face, and she has no look of fear or anxiety! No DV victim would sit in court where they can not only see their abuser, but be scene BY their abuser, and create a possibility of making eye contact WITH their abuser! From personal experience, the possibility of having to look your abuser in the eye is absolutely terrifying and freezes you up. Putting yourself in a room full of people and cameras and then making yourself look your abuser in the eye for days on end is just not something the victim of domestic abuse and violence would do!
Seeing her stifle yawn after yawn while she looks around disinterested is so frustrating!

Her lawyer objected his own question, unorganised, just repeats and harasses witnesses. I can’t say I see that both lawyers are equally as good personally

Motions to Dismiss are routine in pretty much every court case. If the defense doesn't make the motion, you could even call it malpractice. There's just no reason not to ever call for the motion. So it's not necessarily an indication of any sort of strategy of theirs as it is 100% expected.

A victim of abuse does not beg for the abuser to come to them, they just want to stay as far away as possible and in multiple statements Amber didn't want to leave Johnny, while Johny's actions showed that he was the abused one seeking out space from Amber the abuser
The part where Johnny told the story of bringing Amber to bed and him asking her nicely to leave him alone is the best thing he could’ve done and just shows he’s not abusive or harmful. Like he said he calmly walked her to the bed and just asked her to let him leave

In every corner of the world, the victims uncomfortable to their abuser, they avoid them as best they can. But abuser can’t let go their perfect victim to continue abusing the victim until the victim scream outloud so people can hear them asking for help.
Actually it may surprise you how often this happens its more often than you might think. It is not something that happens in most cases of abuse but it is definitely not a clear sign that no abuse has taken place. If abuse is ongoing it means they must be going back together after abuse and ptsd can manifest in ways

That is largely what you do on cross examination. Find many ways to undermine the witnesses. You never know what the judge or jury will bite on later in the trial so you try everything you can get away with and then use what sticks. I bet they will be far more forthright when it comes to the presentation of their own case and the JD lawyers will be more circumspect. The actual jury decision is a long time past any possible goofs that were mad in cross and AH's lawyers will be able to use the sticky parts to summaries the case in her favor. IANAL

I had no idea who Amber was so no reason to doubt her, and loved Johnny's characters but never knew him. What I've learned over the hours of court videos is he's a pacifist who hides from conflict, and she sits through testimony that - IF she was innocent - should get SOME reaction out of her, a frown even. She gave us NO emotion til she took the stand, and cried tearlessly about sexual abuse (apologies if she isn't making that up, but they're both actors and she's been caught lying repeatedly). *When you have a client you KNOW is guilty, all you can do is yell "OBJECTION" and obstruct justice. Only when you KNOW your client is innocent do you show the passion we just saw.* That clinched it for me.

As an abuse councilor and a trauma therapist I can say your correct she is a calculated narcissist and has sociopathic traits that watching this trial has me feeling so bad and empathic towards Johnny she is a real monster that rides on and lives off personality projection. She scares me thinking about her in any past or future relationships and for her new child.

I agree. I suffered the same as well. You do not follow around and harass an abuser. The recording where she says no one will believe he has been abused is very telling. I would also point to the fact that Mr. Depp has never been arrested or accused of abuse by anyone before but she has been because she abused her prior girlfriend. As a matter of fact, the prior women he was in relationships with says that they never experienced any abuse from him but that he was definitely not a violent person towards any of them ever. Her attorneys are shameless in their defense of this lunatic abuser. Anyone who has suffered through abuse sees that AH is the abuser in this relationship. Also, it is not uncommon for some people who are abused in a relationship to use alcohol and/or drugs to numb the circumstances to tolerate the abuse. I personally did not but I know many people (women & men) who have and my heart breaks for them as it does for Mr. Depp. This is tragic and his children have suffered through this slander of their father as well. AH is a disgusting excuse for a human being in my opinion.

Despite the lack of actual non-circumstantial evidence, despite the obvious railroading, despite obvious attempts to just get a conviction/award settlement and say they got their suspect/defendant, a verdict on occasion, has come back in favor of the plaintiff/prosecution (depending on whether a civil or criminal matter). One huge case comes to mind, in which I followed very closely and watched every second of, was the West Memphis 3. Those poor kids were targeted and used as a cover up to the polices absolutely BOTCHED investigation and screw-ups! But because they were teens who listened to Metal and dressed differently, IN FRICKEN ARKANSAS no less, of course they got railroaded. So, my point is, while this may seem open and shut, we really dont know how the jury will sway until the fat lady sings..... Of course the opposite happens all the time too, say for instance OJ... obviously guilty, but the damn glove just didn't fit (Yeah, if you are an 80 year old grandma with arthritis, and had the police not LEFT the leather glove IN THE COLD AND RAIN!). It only means the answer is not clear enough at the moment for a definitive dismissal. All testimonies from both sides must be heard for a jury to decide.
If I'm a jury member. I find it pretty desperate to ask for a dismissal the day before she is expected to take the stand.

Kind of a bummer that Depp’s lawyers seem to have given their best performance when the jury wasn’t even there. Buuuuuut they seem to have a solid game plan. I’ve noticed and also seen comments about how the judge seems to favor AH and her team and that Depp’s team should be objecting more instead of sitting back and letting some of this happen, but I kind of don’t see it that way. I see her team laying low and letting AH team look ridiculous, and waiting, listening, processing, and preparing to deliver the real blows when the blows matter. This whole motion to strike was a moment when they needed to put their best foot forward, I would imagine, and they did that. I believe they will do it again when the jury is present 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
