"Insomnia" is a must listen, another of Ren's masterpieces..
This song perfectly describes how I feel everyday, going 20+ years now, dealing with OCD, ADHD, chronic depression and Aspergers (though that is borderline, more or less).
"But the pills didn't seem to help, and the therapists didn't seem to help. But still...I want help"...
Ren's newest song Troubles is an AMAZING form of hope and goes through the 8 chapters in a poetic way... it's truly amazing.
PENITENCE ft Molly McKinna is gut wrenchingly beautiful.
Ren is the perfect artist for therapists to react to. He’s a one of a kind.
Zackly... a therapist wet dream!!!
Yes! I'm a crisis therapist and every day I carry some of those clients with me. Especially the kiddos. It's hard to leave it at work. Rens music can probably help those who fear coming in for therapy. There is still a stigma on mental health.
if i could make some suggestions to you, the first one would be to check out his one million subscriber video. i always ask people to watch this particular video because it gives a very clear insight into what Ren is all about and helps to explain why people love him so much above and beyond even his obvious talent. even if you don't do a reaction to it, you'll definitely benefit from watching it. the second suggestion i'd make is, if you're passing on Rens work to your clients, try "patience". that song is the reason i'm still here and someone in your line of work could absolutely use it as a tool to help others who need it. also, regarding trying to find the right words to express how you feel about Ren, i think i get it. been trying to find the words for over a year now and they just won't come!
thank you so much for helping people the way that you do and thank you for reacting to Ren. much love to you and yours.🙂
Thank you for this incredibly heartfelt, empathetic reaction. I know you have a long list, but since you listened to his Chapters, I would recommend reacting to his brand new track "Troubles" next. You probably know this, but he specifically intended the Chapters to be released as a buildup to its release. It's the musical version of the same story, and very powerful (and ends on a beautiful hopeful note).
I'm so grateful that he feels exactly the same as I do. Because he cam express it
Oh and he credits reactors for spreading the word about him. He's subscribed to several. I like & subscribe to all Ren reactions.
Let's get out there Renegades! This boy's gonna save me world & we're going to help!!
#ren 💗🖤💗
It's so endearing how much he cares & gives back, such an inspiration to million's to never give up, never give in 🖤💗🖤
Thank you 🙏❤ Keilani ❤ for your 🐷 Ren - Depression reaction! #ren #demosvoltwo #depression
Happy 🎈 birthday, Keilani!
Love your stuff, please try and do this one, its powerful. Ren - Penitence Ft. Molly McKinna
This is the song. So underrated.
This one is a hidden gem 💎
It’s on my list! I have so much anticipation for this one!
If ya watched his 8 chapters, located in his Troubles Playlist, please tell me ya did his song "Troubles"... which was the Finale of his story!
Some say it was his form of closure to his "Sick Boi" album chapter... his next album will be more sing song based!
And Yes... i think he does watch the reactors... he has shown Massive Respect towards y'all!
It would be FANTASTIC if he chose to do an interview with ya... a real therapists... with professional questions! To end this month of Awareness, with a serious discussion with ya !!!
Just saying!
Hes done many interviews on here... but Not from a legit therapist... one who could possibly answer some questions "he" has!!!
Ren... can ya make this happen!?!? 😊
You are "therapist fangiirling it " Don't worry I'm fanboying over him all the time. I love watching therapists react to him. I've had depression, anxiety and panic attacks for most of my life. None of those things are fun at all but I learned to deal with them but they do limit my potential but I'd rather be happy, without stress than a stressed out ball of mess.
Youre so great, happy birthday 🥳 . This song is hard to hear often, but important. I hope you react to Troubles too.
It's difficult.. I suffer from chronic pain, bi polar, PTSD, anxiety... Tough to keep going at times
Thank you so much. Appreciate you
Ren does comment often on reactions, I've seen him even comment on one of a reactor that had less than 500 subs... so he might see it!
🤞🏼🤞🏼
Just found you. Always looking for Ren reactions. But yeah, “insomnia” is heavy.
He has Sooo Many more songs thats right uo your alley!!!
The most important thing is you Know, from his 8 chapters, that his lyrics are based on Real Life issues!
Unlike alot of rappers who make up stories/songs, to get onboard the mental health game!!!
Please... dig into his older works too! Diazapam, Patience, Insomnia, Dominos, etc...
❤️🔥❤️
Please make a Ren playlist.
So sorry, Happy Birthday 🎈🎈 x
My two go to Ren tracks are Dominos and Humble featuring Eden Nash, although Ocean was beautiful as well.
Happy birthday love
❤❤❤❤❤
Something you said reminded me of Guy Sebastian's song Standing with you.
The song centres around issues surrounding mental-ill health and the struggle to support loved ones who are suffering. In a lead-up to the song's release, Sebastian said "A family member of mine was going through a very tough time, and he was brave enough to share his battle with his own mental health, and that inspired this song. - Wikipedia.
I think the word you were looking for was not Gratitude,it was Respect ❤
Thank you for being there
Happy Birthday Week! 🎂 🎉❤
Hi Doc, now that we're feeling a little crushed after hearing Ren's "Depression", you've got to spring back on your next reaction/analysis, of Ren's latest single "Troubles"🔥🔥. In that new song we hear his beautiful words of hope and perseverance. Here's a little background on the making of that latest release, just so you realize the depth of Ren's talent & versatility.
Ren purchased the rights to use the exact sample that Moby used on his Natural Blues Album from 1999, it was Vera Hall, Trouble So Hard 1937. Ren personally mixed this track on his own from top to bottom adding the guitar licks, percussion and strings as well as all the synths with the distortions created by altering the vocals in the sample itself. Who needs a producer when you're Ren!🤯
The actual sample by Vera Hall has no instrumental whatsoever. You can pull up the original sample by Vera Hall on CZcams and listen for yourself. Ren has a short on his channel that shows him producing parts of this track and what methods he used to get certain sounds.🔥🔥
We just filmed the reaction yesterday and I loved the song!! Can’t wait for you to hear the reaction!
Ren also sang 'Trouble so Hard' in his 'Wade in the Water" medley with his band the Big Push
@@delightfulpod I just watched it, excellent reaction (as was this one also)
Please listen to Rens track "Penitence"❤
Happy birthday.🎉
also, happy birthday!
Crywank are an amazing band with a similar theme to this.
19:49 i’ve lived in said purgatory my entire life and dont feel like i’ve LIVED or participated in life ever. I feel like i’m sitting on the bleachers observing everyone experiencing life, which includes the good and the bad, meanwhile i’m detached from everything. Completely apathetic towards existance as a whole and now my entire youth, which was the only thing i ever valued, has been consumed by this shit and i dont value anything about getting older either so it’s just over. Atleast time’s moving so fucking fast it’ll be over soon, just waiting for death at this point.
Life can suck but I guarantee that there is meaning in there and that if you keep searching, you will find it. Your experience already gives you wisdom you can use to lift up others.
💯🙏🏼🫶🏼
In Our time its said that it's okay to not be okay yet in truth this does not apply
I think the idea behind that was to de-stigmatise mental health issues
It's aimed at the society at large: people have health problems, sometimes they're mental in nature and it can be serious, your understanding would be helpful and appreciated - "It's ok to not be ok" you know?
you look like the news reporter in mass effect

Moreover, by openly discussing topics like emotional pain, denial, and seeking help, you're actively working to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Your willingness to engage with this song on your channel creates a safe space for individuals to explore their own struggles and seek support without fear of judgment.
