URBEX - Exploring an alarmed building

- We went back to the building with the Hoisting Appliance car lift to URBEX the place. It is in a prime central London location which is strange that the place is abandoned. This building is alarmed oh dear!

That black car in the corner certainly looks like it's been there a while. It's a Reva G-Wiz [18bhp electric engine] from 2007 and perfect for London as it qualifies for exemption from the London congestion charge & road tax is zero.

It must have a delay to let people turn it off since it took a while for the alarm to activate fully
Oh my gosh Ben, that's crazy and scary how you could have been stuck in the lift if that guy turned the power off, thankfully he didn't, if he did, do you know anyway out of the lift while at the top floor and trapped inside?
In the section with the unfinished partition walls, there are some interresting ceilings. If you look closely, you'lle see concrete ribs with ceramic hollow core blocks in between. That is a very old weight saving floor structure. Can't you disable the alarms? In "Splintercell" I have to dodge the cameras or disable them.

I know of a power station which has a talking alarm (like this one) except it talks over the siren. What type of building is this? It looks like some type of distribution unit has it been demolished by now

They are made by VPS or Clearway.

That isn't the problem. Getting hold of a lift in parts is easy. Many of my friends almost have an entire lift by collecting parts when they are replaced. But some of the larger parts are difficult to transport, such as the chassis, car walls, and motor. The problem is the location to build the lift museum. It would need space to install lifts and would kind of need to be an old building which already has a few lifts. It would need to be like a small section of a large factory.
Why did they turn the Express modded by Lester get turned off? Were Jackson’s lifts too shit for them?

Plus the alarm is pretty strongly built. I’ve seen the company who made the alarm have released videos of people trying to smash it and it didn’t take any damage

Have you ever though of sneaking in a pair of overall with a made up lift tech. logo on it ? then when your fooling around and someone stumbles upon you can say your a lift inspector or tech

@@benolifts oh yes i do. you are meant to ride only in the cab. playing with fire means taking foolish risk and it only takes one slip and you could fall to your death down the lift shaft or be crushed by the counterweight. you also give the elevator/lift community a bad name.
@@richardpearson58 listen a lift is designed to be used for people to ride in the lift, but in your case a lift engineer can’t ride on top of a lift. What a sheep
