Not researching the degree you'll get seems insane to me.
I’m a sophomore and I’m studying abroad and I didn’t realize this until I switched Universities for the spring. I think that the avalibilty of food is super important. We have 6 places on campus for food and its available between 7am and 1am and there’s a 24hr convinience store two blocks off campus for even later food needs. This semester each meal only has a 2 hour block to get food and it’s about 15 minutes each way to get to a place with food off campus. Also I completely agree on undergrad focussed that’s what I was looking for in a school and I’m so happy to be at a school with 2500 undergrads and no grad students

I really needed this video! I finally got my financial aid letter back from UPenn today. I am choosing between Johns Hopkins and UPenn. Hopkins is $4,000 more expensive per year than UPenn, but I really liked Hopkins’s engineering and it only being an hour from home instead of 3 hours like UPenn is. Hopkins gets the most research money from the government then any other school and the mechanical engineering department seemed very focused on bettering the student while I felt at Penn it was more on the student to plan everything out in school and the engineering career as well. I also got into Dartmouth :) (but it was $13,000 more expensive then Hopkins and UPenn 😂 RIP)

Nothing is truly objective, however, you can probably look at forums like reddit or quora and average the responses to form a general consensus. This is pretty late tho so you've probably already chosen lol

I've heard heavy Greek participation can be annoying because it can cut people out of the social scene. If you are involved in Greek life then it's great.

How many AP classes do I have to take to get into Dartmouth? I planned out what classes I want to take each year and right now I have 11 AP classes. Is this too much or not enough?

Idk if this helps, but I'm a Dartmouth '20 and although I took IB classes, I submitted absolutely no IB or AP exam scores
hey! I would take my words with a grain of salt since I'm just a high school student but, remember, classes aren't everything. Definitely take a challenging courseload (ofc, that means AP classes), but there isn't a set number of classes that are going to get you into an Ivy league. If everyone has good stats, the differentiating factors are essays and extracurriculars.
I would say take as many ap classes as possible, but only the classes that interest you. Don’t take a class just because its ap. Also, consider what your extra curriculares will be. With ec’s, it’s easy to get caught up in them rather than in classes and schoolwork so be careful on how you plan and time manage your days.
Ok so I’m fucked, I live in Sweden and I’m attending my first year of secondary school (1 of 3) and lemme tell yall something, I want to attend Columbia or Yale but guess the fuck what, 100 % is an A, anything below like 99 % is a B.
