As a musician who makes mostly all hip-hop r&b based music but also loves video games, I can't believe this conversation exists on here, I'm so here for it.
The only thing that would have made this better was if you pulled out the couches and explained this to Grandpa Nick.
Following this from the beginning was wild. NO ONE knew how crazy it would become
Oh thank God it’s just blessing and Roger. Was worried it would be the whole crew that doesn’t know anything about hip hop😂
Now THIS is the Kinda Funny content I've been waiting for
And THIS is one I hit the thumbs up and move on.
To each their own.
@@Covette01 at least you hit the thumbs up lol
Calling “Your arms are too short to box with God” the “CM Punk line” is wild appropriation
SOMEBODY SAY OV-HOE! 🗣️
OV-HOE 🗣️
I am a mostly Alt Rock type of guy, but god damn I have been following this saga for a while now. I never knew I needed this KF Podcast but here we are!
Fantastic breakdown boys, comprehensive, informative, and fun to watch you guys chop it up! More of this please!
I haven’t been keeping up with the beef and this podcast helped me so much lmao thanks yall!
THEY NOT LIKE US
Love this, would have loved to have a shot of Greg or Nick sitting slitghly behind them just looking confused
The breakdown of the J Cole apology is so damn funny lol. Thanks to Rog and Blessing for this, awesome content.
Is that a Parappa the rapper dressed as MF Doom shirt? That's fire 🔥
Omg I didn’t even catch that
So happy this exists as I’ve been very lost
"Bcause he cant read" - Rodger 🤣🤣
1. Kendrick never accused Drake of being a rat, but his first few lines address it in detail.
2. Kendrick called Drake Weinstein, not Epstein, but Drake chooses to name drop the latter, whose allegations include a pedophilia ring.
3. Kendrick never mentioned Milly Bobby Brown, but Drake chooses to bring her up.
4. Drake says whoever feeding Kendrick lines is a clown, and then says that he planted the info.
5. Drake tries to make a connection with
"Mother I" about Kendrick being molested, when the whole song is about him not being molested.
6. Drake says he doesn't want to keep battling a woman beater because it feeds his nature... calling himself a woman.
7. Drake has videos of him doing the exact things he said he didn't do, and then called everything facts at the end which make the entire thing look bad
8. Kendrick didn't go to back for R.kelly. He went to bat for xxxtentacion
9. Anyone who plays music knows a B shape doesn't exist Imao. You skip straight to C.
Drake doesn't know music theory.
If you planted info then you would’ve had a diss track or evidence ready to drop right after Meet the Grahams. Instead he posted to instagram, waited 2 days before responding meanwhile the whole nation is blasting They Not Like Us. Drake played himself with his own diss track and he’s garbage. Kendrick has addressed his allegations because in hip hop you don’t respond to lies. Plus Kendrick already talked about these abuse allegations on the Breakfast club years ago. The only ammo Drake has to use Kendrick has already talked about already on Mr Morale. Drake is cooked. Photos and videos of Drake texting and grooming 14-16 yr olds has been all over the web for years and people keep brushing it under the rug.
This is just the tip of the iceberg. SMH. Disgusting.
Just one thing i see a lot of people misinformed keep saying. B sharp is a note that is used in music notation. It's used in different scales and when modulating. It can help with sight reading. It's uncommon but does exist. I 100 percent think drake's team knows that and is intentional
@@imTofuDragon So they caught the B Sharp line but didn’t catch Drake fumbling the line about being too rich to be a pedo? lol ok 👍
@@DFTNSHEXGRMI don't know exactly what you mean by that. I'm not a Drake stan if that's what you're saying. I'm just a musician who makes music and am pointing out misinformation where I see it. I'm just learning about this beef
@@imTofuDragonnot even that uncommon if you play classical music
Drake made Kendrick drop consistently and Kendrick made Drake rap the best he’s rapped in years.
really glad you guys started posting kinda funny stuff on here, I would’ve never seen this video if you didn’t!
Really glad they clarified Kendrick’s angle with his issues of him calling a “colonizer” and the like. Also I think simply the fact it’s a question Drake is hiding another kid kind of hits the nail on the head.
“Arms too short to box w/ God” is not a CM Punk line. It’s from Nas’ 2001 song You’re Da Man. Just a slight correction 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Goes back even farther than that. Before Nas it was Mobb Deep and before that I believe it was Rakim. It's an old hood phrase that goes back to a Black musical of the same name from the 70s.
Metro boomin did release BBL DRIZZY for people to rap over and has a contest for the best artists!
Think this is history for the First time a producer responds to a diss with a Beat lol
This was great, I was glued to this episode the whole time
Happy kinda funny covered this I knew it was coming but thought it would be a mention, they dropped a segment, thanks guys!
as someone who doesn't really keep up with the beef, I appreciate this.
this battle brought SHAME back!!! a gift we truly needed rn
Do the patreon reactions include footage/audio? Cause I would love to watch those as long as there is something to follow along to 😂
Awesome episode, I'd love to see more of Rog and Bless just talking about stuff
Man, now this is a conversation I can talk about for hours.
I can’t believe we got this podcast and I can’t believe how happy I am to hear this discussion especially understanding I am completely on the outside here. Appreciate yall
For anyone here who is in the comments complaining why this is being covered here and didn't complain about an entire Taylor Swift episode, just know, that says more about you than you realize.
They had a Taylor Swift episode? Nasty work. 🤢😂
I don't remember the Taylor Swift episode having warnings about domestic abuse and pedophilia. So what does that say about you?
What are you even trying to say @@DanielOrteez
@@presidentc4 What's @Furrybproductions trying to say?
@@DanielOrteez I understand exactly what he's saying but I'll let him answer that if he wants to break it down to you. But I want you to break down for me what YOU are trying to say
Thank you for clarifying everything. I've been ao lost
been waiting for this one 😫🙌🏼
Here we gooooo tuning in for this talk for sure
this was a good episode.
This was awesome. Never listened to Kendrick or Drake, but after hearing you talking about meet the grahams I had to listen to the song. After that masterpiece I'll be listening to every song that man has a verse on
Ever since I saw Blessing's tweets and one of his streams, I was wondering if we'd get a reference to this on any KF shows. Never expected a full podcast but here for it
Fascinating breakdown, thank you!
I'm not into rap like... AT ALL! But this whole thing is so fascinating! Thanks for the breakdown boys!
watching this while receiving the news about the shooting at drake's house makes it even crazier
You guys did great on this video.
Would have been funny to have a third party that had no idea what was going on 😂
Me here, eating popcorn and enjoying every moment .. hear the F word right into commercials then again right after , my boy killing me lol 😂 .. love this keep it going
Please keep making videos like this!!!
I refused to look into this on my own but since it’s conveniently explained through one of my favorite gaming outlets…
Fine, y’all win.
Great video guys 👍
UMG supposedly hitting up PGLang and XO to stop the beef cause they worried they losing money from partners Nike etc. And want Kendrick to publicly say Drakes not a pedo 😂 hoooold the line Kenny!
I can't get that "BBL dizzy" hook out of my head
Great job starting with Control guys
Blessing referee to Cole as the dude who “raps about student loans”. Like what? lol
He mentioned that about J Cole, not Drake
I think he said jcole no?
Bless just knows surface level hip hop it seems lol I wouldn’t hold it against him 😂
This episode ruled. Thanks for doing this guys
Now if we're being honest, Kendrick's verse on "Like That" was bait. Cole and Drake ate it up and Cole came out the gate first with "7-min Drill" and I 100% believe Kendrick called/texted Cole that he should stay out of it hence the apology. Drake took the bait, hook, line and sinker and Kendrick just decimated him.
Bruh 15:26 had me bust out laughing imagining fucking TmarTn in the studio making beats for J Cole.
TMINUS! I knew I fucked that up - Roger
I'm so happy they're talking about this. It was a great time to be alive (Unless you're Drake)
Academic dissertation will be made about this beef and the fallout.
Loved the vid
this is not my space at all but this was a good listen and I and weirdly here for it.
Betterhelp must be offering a serious bag for how much KindaFunny usually cares about the type of stuff that BetterHelp massively violates with their business practices.
Love this video is in existence.
Forgot to say, but great job on the video fellas.
Drake has been involved in so many violent altercations that this new shooting is most likely related to a recent shooting of a person Drake is connected to. That being said, it is also possibly connected to this beef as well given that said person was mentioned in 6:16 in LA as the person who is NOT the OvO leak. It doesn't look good for Drake that the person who's been mentioned is said to not be the leaker is shot BEFORE they're mentioned as being in the clear and then someone else is shot afterwards.
BBL DRIZZZZZYYY
This kf podcast took soooo long to listen too every time they referenced a song i had to go listen for context 😂
Mother i sober isnt the last song on Mr. Morale, jsyk
I just want a rap breakdown show from Bless.
Fr fr
LMAOOO Never thought I’d see the the day 😭😭
Whenever I hear about a modern rap feud, my mind goes to that Romeo & Juliet movie with Leonardo Dicaprio
So what I'm getting from this entire podcast, is that rappers treat diss tracks like anime fights. They act like they just obliterated their opponent, and then at the end, it just kind of goes on and everyone is friends, until they're not.
Kinda Funny, the place i come to stay uptodate on the rap game.
W breakdown
Ya'll need to get Andy on that BBL Drizzy beat.
WORD
One day later , shooting out front of drakes Toronto mansion... security got drive by'ed
Great work, mates.
I haven't listened to any of this cuz I don't really like either Kendrick or Drake, but hearing you guys explain everything is infinitely more entertaining than actually listening!! 😂
Diss tracks back in the day was exposing ppl to. I think they forgot about Jay-z Super Ugly and how he violated Nas so much Hov mom made him apologize with the Condoms in the Baby seat
Ok. Honest question and trying to better understand. Where does Eminem land on Hip Hop/Rap Triangle?
The general hip hop consensus on Eminem is split a few ways: People who don't know anything about rap who think he's the best, people who know a lot about rap and think he's the best, people who don't know a lot about rap and can't relate to his songs, people who know a lot about rap who can't relate to his songs, people who know a lot about rap but don't like him because he's white. One of the goats in the mind of the majority. The current top 3 debate only considers the modern era. When people say "Top 5 rappers" that's when it's usually an all time conversation. Hope this helps.
Drake was actually responding to Kendrick, while Kendrick had his stuff prerecorded. So just for the art of battle rap alone, I’ll give it to Drake
How'd you guys leave out the fact that one of Kendricks guys said it'd be a bit before he released his next song because he has a marketing deal with Sony for their showcase next week? 😂
The Heart 6 is so hypocritical and honestly shows that Drake (or his ghosts) didn't listen to Big Steppers. Like 1, making fun of SA victims isn't a good look and also Kendrick isn't a victim of SA like he says it in Mother I Sober. and 2, how's Drake gonna talk about false allegations with no proof and 2 bars later he throws allegations with no proof lmao
I don't think ghostwriters were involved this time lol. He low-key snitched on himself at the end saying it was good exercise to get back to his pen 🤣🤣🤣 Bum ass 🤣
Damn yall talking bout this lol Kdot!!
I can't get enough content about this beef (watched the Gregways and Bless' streams) and this is the perfect summation of it all. Kendrick took his time but he's played his hand to perfection. Family Matters with time could've changed the narrative but he immediately negated all of that, putting the pressure back on Drake. Roger makes a great point about Drake never successfully painting the picture of Kendrick being a monster so when the accusations come, they shock but don't sustain. Someone said it well that Drake's accusations against Kendrick aren't effective for the same reason Kendrick's against Drake are (regardless of if true) is because people don't trust Drake. His last "diss" seemed like a PR statement more than anything to try and shut down the allegations. Kendrick doesn't need to say another word, especially if Not Like Us debuts at #1. It's gonna be fascinating to see how Drake moves on from this, surely he's gotta ghost for a while
Rog dropped an F bomb before ads... i hope they dont get in trouble withthe sponsor
What about Metro? He wasn't mentioned at all! Especially with the BBL Drizzy drop piling on top of Drake after Drake tried calling him out 😂
He was mentioned several times, idk if in the way you wanted but they talked about him
Damn was hoping this was gonna be a fun podcast explaining this stuff to the main crew,or at least to just Nick 🤣
The content the people needed!!!!
I had the same reaction to Meet the Grahams, it seemed so much like Stan. I nuked all my socials for my mental health, but I've really been wanting to know blessings take on the beef. Thank you for making this.
O V Hoe.
Rapper beef is like wrestling. It was more real when people died, but still goofy as hell.
Blessing doing God’s work keeping this timeline straight
Roger with the absolute glaze of the century for Kendrick 😂 Drake hasn’t put out good music in over a decade. Please put some respect on Future’s name. The guy is Atlanta hip hop!
No mention of BBL Drizzy?
I wonder what MGK-like genre shift Drake will move to after all this...
Somehow I listened to the whole episode, on a topic I really don’t care about 😂 I don’t even listen to whole episodes of the gaming shows, just skip to time stamp interested in.
Bro, kendrick EVICERATED drake. Yall are right when you say Kdot was just playing at first and just wanted this little sparring match to go for a little bit before they head their separate ways but GOD DAMN did he fucking turn the heat from 2 to 10 REAL fast. Its utterly insane to see Kendrick destroy this man like this. Bro, Meet the Grahams is HAUNTING. That shit is so damn real that it shook the rap industry to its core. This is such a good in-depth analysis of this whole beef. I applaud you guys and kinda funny for tackling this crazy moment In rap beef history.
It's funny how this podcast, like many others in the gaming sphere, claim to prioritize discussing games but often veer off into irrelevant territory, like petty rap feuds between two man-children who have no impact on the real world. Instead of wasting time on trivial drama, why not focus on topics that actually matter? For example, if you want to cover rap then why not cover that a super mainstream rapper (Macklemore) put out a single putting the music industry's complacency and this feud on blast. I just think you all are better than covering these lame distractions.
This channel really doing anything and everything
I know this is a total left turn as far as rappers go, but I'd love to know if you listen to NF or what you think of him. He's sooo different from these kind of guys, and I know people hate on him cuz he's white, and all his music is "too moody and dark", but I feel like you'd really fuck with him cuz he talks about real shit like anxiety, depression, grief, and the journey to overcoming it. Love you guys!!
I was REALLY hoping to escape this beef with the KF Pod today but... guess I'll just be skipping this week
Did they mention that Kanye also dissed Drake and everyone forgot lol
Takeover was 🔥
🔥🔥
