Iron Man needs to be buffed with more health in my opinion
Honestly I was surprised how well XDefiant actually plays. It isn’t the absurd fast bunny hopping/drop shotting sweat fest that call of duty has become. It slows it down and makes positioning more important. The slower TTKs are a plus also. You actually have a chance to get away and reposition if you’re in a gunfight. If it was Call of Duty, you would be dead in .5 seconds.
I’m gonna disagree with Mike a little and say that this game doesn’t need to be faster like Call of Duty. That’s what Call of Duty is for.
There isn’t a lot of bloat. There aren’t a million guns like with Call of Duty so it’s a lot easier to get all the guns and the different character classes can play differently enough if done right. A lot more focus on the actual gunfights, and abilities give you an extra edge. Really enjoyed what I played last night.

I think xDefiant did some great things in how they do their Factions. I think it's a perfect approach for Battlefield could take. Choose your character within your class, but each class has the same abilities, regardless of who you choose. Allows cosmetics to exist without impeding the style you want to play and doesn't lock you into weird pseudo-classes. I hope they look at this game!

Leaving Counter Strike out when talking about arena shooters is a choice lol. Shows that Mike is such a console guy. Even with the shit CS2 launch, CS is the permanent mainstay in the shooter realm. Has been for over 25 years.

I did play the most fun FPS game/game mode I have played in a very long time out of no where yesterday though...
Halo Infinite custom game... where they reimagined the very first Zombies Map from Black Ops 1, Natch dur untoten!
And holy crap whoever made this really did a great job to make the game feel super intense and had my friends and I getting so excited and shit in our party chat... Been a while since any game and especially Halo got me feeling that hyped
Namor not being able to fly in marvel rivals is disappointing i hope the developers rework Namors bubble ability so that after he uses it he gets triple health and damage output and the ability to fly

marvel rivals is to overwatch what palworld is to pokemon. Overwatch is still the much better game and isnt just a re-skinned cash grab
If Overwatch and Pokemon weren't fucking up it wouldn't be so easy to get attention off them.
I'm just gonna keep it 100.......I'd have rather just had Marvel Avengers back and continuing it's development.

I’m sorry but mikes comments on xdefiant kinda irk me a little bit. Like from someone like him who is Uber competitive and is someone who is usually very in touch with things I feel like he majorly missed the mark here
First of all. Let’s start with this.
The factions do have differences in their abilities. Shields are huge for things like the escort mode.
Like to sit here and say that they are not useful outside of maybe the invisible is kinda out of touch. They all have very different competitive uses
And blessing said it feels like the ole days style shooter. Because it is.
Mark Rubin the head of the studio made a bunch of the OG cods. That we know and love.
Also Mike. Again with you being a great FPS player. I just feel like you not seeing the amazing competitive nature of this game is wild to me. Aches a multi time cod world champ is on the dev to this game. Xdefiant is not a cod killer. Nothing will be for a very very long time. But this game can and will be around for a while
Also. Let’s not forget how much of a success r6 siege is. So to say they don’t know what they are doing is wild.
