- Hello everyone! In today’s video, we’re going to be taking a look at the Predator Orion 3000 PO3-630 (2021) desktop PC for another product overview. It’s got a really cool look and even cooler airflow (lame hardware joke, fine I’ll see myself out). Good review, I've used Acer for about 24 years and not problems with their Desktops, though these days I hear all nighmarish things about them. Almost got this one but stuck with Dell as they seem to last forever and are built much better imo. Also I love your Dad (Dwayne Johnson) he's a great guy and a good actor!!! (wink) lol

I understand this might struggle with Microsoft Flight sim on Ultra settings if you're looking to run at 60fps, but how about high settings? Would you recommend it?

could anyone let me know how to take the front glass panel off so i can clean the front cooling fan? is there a way of taking the front off or will i have to completely strip it down? thanks in advanced
i doubt you could take of the glass at the front but maybe you could try cleaning it from the inside?

here's some commentaries after using the orion 3000 for 6 months. TLDR: not great.
The price was acceptable at the time I bought it because the GPU prices were all over the place, but at the time of this comment it is definitely not a good deal. The prebuild comes with 2 RAM sticks at 3200Mhz, which is good. The CPU fan is a total disaster that you need to replace by yourself, else the CPU would remain around 80-90 degree C when playing games and throttle. However, the base of the fan was soldered on the back of the motherboard that you cannot replace, therefore I had to find compatible screws for the new fan. The BIOS of this motherboard is also very limiting and stops you from doing any meaningful adjustments. You will have to manually change the files of Predator software to control the CPU fan. Any other software I tried like speedfan doesn't work.
man i bought it in ebruary im really hating my self buying it 2.200 euros i feel like an idiot the cpu fams sucks and theres pc better with liquid cooling more fans with 3070 ti and better cpu and gpu man.. this sucks
agree! Regret buying this pc so much. will never just buy a pc anymore i will now do as much research as possible to find my next pc

I dont get it i ordered this pc from acer but it only has the GeForce® GTX 1660 SUPER and a i5-11400F but its the exact same modell…????
How will this perform with single player games? Red Dead 2, Witcher 3? Horizon etc etc. I'm looking for performance similar to a Xbox SX. Also, video editing?
this will run single player games like 2 times that of a series x probably
@@somethingnice5953 I bought it and I'm returning it. CPU temp gets to 55-65c while just browsing, and 80-90c while gaming. Cooling system is trash. Seen many reviews saying the same.

hello friend nice to you luigi I have the predator orion p03 630 but it doesn't go more than 115 / 120fps on warzone in 2k, is this normal? Do I have to set it better? thanks in advance forgot i have msi mag322cqr 165hz monitor, 1ms
it will probably be because warzone is a more complicated game
Mine is absolutely nothing but trouble. Brought it for gaming and now my pc will just end up freezing and having huge lag spikes, disconnecting my microphone, and more. If I can find a solution, it will literally change how i work and game.
maybe a better CPU Cooler now got to upgrade my one
is it possible to change th case of the pc to make it biggest ?
It's possible buy mid tower chand motherboard and buy a good power supply

can you remove the power supply from this PC? I have it myself and bought a new case to move everything to but I don't know if i can remove the power supply to swap it over

Does the Orion 3000 come with 2 side panels ( clear "glass" and hexagonal mesh ) ? You show both in the video.... which one is standard?
yep
ye it does its really easy to take of the hexagon plate its 2 screws but when u put the glass panel its 4 screws in each corner
I have this pc but why does it only run like 140 fps?

I own this, and only critisism is if only it came wtih the 1tb SSD, not the 512MB SSD, and should of at least of came with the 12th gen i7 and not the 11th as iv'e heard the 11th gen is pretty pants. Other than that, I love it.
Cant you not upgrade your 512 to 1tb there is to more slots for cards........ Wouldn't be to expensive
i built a pc last year... its RTX 3060 Ti i7 9700k 8gb VRAM 16gb DDR4 so i dont need this but 1 sub arrived :)
yah but at todays gpu prices it makes sense to go this route .... Doesn't seem building your own pcs is economical in any advantageous way anymore.

is it any good? i am getting a PC for the first time. I'm a mac user and I've grown to hate mac honestly. i saw this in coscto and my brother is an expert in PC says its decent. i found it quite small but I'm sure size doesn't matter, right? its the spec inside?
@@madisongeronimo6859 im on it now, only issue is the temperatures get way too high on games which will damage the cpu in the long run

Depending on the Orion that you have purchased it must meet the minimum or recommended specification requirements that beamng states here in this link documentation.beamng.com/support/troubleshooting/requirements/

Same! My i7 with 3070 bought last week does the same! CPU also get's extremely hot very easily!
Acer aren't known for making reliable PC's, they use a lot of cheap parts. They use to be SO much better back even 10 years ago. Sadly you need to stick with HP or Dell. About all I can recommend as an IT guy. Those these still look great. They just don't last anymore ;o(

You simply cannot download predator sence on this pc. I have been trying to download Predator Sense and customize my lights. But when i try to get it it says i cant on my model when i try getitng the predator sence app on the acer website

How tf can you lot talk about ''Cool Airflow''? I bough this PC last week and the CPU temp gets to 50-60c while just browsing. While gaming, GTA V 1140P Very High 60fps, temps hit 80-90c. Horizon at 4K Ultra 30fps also 80-90c. Even Fall Guys get the CPU to 80c. PC also freezes for like 4 seconds then resumes like nothing happened. That's while browsing or gaming. £1400 at Currys, returning tomorrow.

Yeah Acer have hit rock bottom in the last few years. I used them from 1998 until 6 or 7 years ago. Wow they are bad now, such a shame.
