I have it as a Acer Predator Orion 3000 Gaming PC Windows 11 Home - Intel Core i7-12700F , 16 GB DDR4 RAM, 512 GB M.2 PCIe 80mm, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and I can just say awesome. It’s the best pc I’ve ever had

An sich nein. Nur ist der CPU Kühler nickt wirklich gut. Es ist ein Standard Intel Kühler der überhaupt nicht reicht. Ansonsten ist es ein relativ leises System. Da halt der CPU Kühler immer sehr hochgedreht wurde, da die CPU auf 100 C° war habe ich diesen ersetzt. Aber abgesehen davon ist es ein gutes und relativ leises System.
looks like the side vents on the case don't fully allow the cpu to vent 100% out. They missed like 50% of the fan area.

It’s a very good machine with good specs, though there are 2 main issues with it.
1. The fan noise is extremely loud, even with a headset on and gaming it can be distracting.
2. The cPu temperatures throttle extremely high up to 90+ degrees.
But both of these issues are solvable with one fix, I changed the internal cpu radiation fan to the nocturna UH fan this both reduced cpu temperature by about 20 degrees, so now on average I’m getting around 65 degrees on the cpu, in heavy games it can rise to 70. It also drastically reduces the noise, though it is still fairly loud it is much better than it was and the fans are drowned by the noise of whatever game I’m playing. So overall it is a good machine with one flaw that can be easily fixed.

Shouldn't have any issue. I was using with 32" Samsung Odyssey G5 and didn't have any lagging issue.

I can tell you that it is more then enough to run VR games.
I bought one of these yesterday with a RTX 3070 installed, I managed to get it for exactly £1000.00 which is a pretty good deal. I had no intention of buying a PC, but I saw the deal and needed a new PC, so the deal was done. I won’t do it yet as it’s under warranty - but I may swap out the power supply at a later date as I have a spare 1000 watt Corsair PSU. Not experienced any issues so far but cheap PSU’s in these off the shelf systems are often a major cause of stability issues down the line.
Just to add, I’m not a gamer so this rig has more than enough power for me.

@kernowcalli3312 - I am quite lucky...I live close to a Currys discount store that sells unboxed items. The PC I bought had no keyboard or mouse but was otherwise sealed and came with a full warranty. They had only had a couple on the shelf. It was too good a deal to pass up on.

@@itsdanny7502 - Just seen this reply. I was in Manchester on the the day I bought the PC. They have a Currys store there that sells incomplete items or ex-demo. The PC I bought had a none working keyboard, but the base unit was perfect, sill in the original packaging.
I will buy the same one but with the 3070 is t there going to be an issue with only 500w rageding the gpu

It is a great desktop. I believe you can connect using tv with HDMI connection. You probably need keyboard & mouse for the setup.

Yes Argos got yesterday but having problems my LED lights keep flashing green won't stop. They should be just changing colour.. I can't get my mother board driver's updated tried everything..I don't understand why it's so difficult to update my mother board driver's.. really annoying me . Should have just stuck with my PS5 and Xbox.. very stressful

Hey I have a question, so I got this pc today and I'm using it right now. An hour ago or so I've had a problem that was really annoying. I wanted to try it on every game i had before like rdr2, roblox, minecraft and etc. So I started with roblox and it was working really well. After 45mins or smth like that, the lighting went from rgb to a blue blinking light. I was wondering what it meant but i didn't really care. Then, when i wanted to try another game on roblox, the game didn't want to launch multiple times. I decided to restart my computer but I couldn't even open the windows menus to shut down the pc. So I just pressed on the button located on the pc and it turned off. When I launched it, the same blue blinking light was there again which was confusing since I didn't change it. Immediately when my pc turned on I putted my password and then it was loading but after a couple of seconds it just left me with a black screen with the mouse. I turned off and on multiple times and it kept doing it again. People say it was a PSU problem so what I did is I took the cable of the pc and plugged it in another hole. Then I turned on my pc and instead of directly putting my password I decided to let it load a little. After maybe 5 mins or less I putted my password and it worked. Everything was fine but the lighting was still a blue blinking light. Well I just fixed it now by changing it in the PredatorSense app and thought that it probably didn't mean anything then but I wasn't sure if my pc was still completly fixed. I want to know if anyone had a similar situation like this and I will also try to update if the problem happened again. Thanks for reading!

@@zen4456 So for now the pc still works great. On roblox there is an fps locker that locks it at 60 fps, but in any game I play I have 60fps. I've also tested it on Beamng Drive ultra and it's really smooth. The pc is still really silent even at ultra settings.
@@zen4456 If you want to play on almost any games on ultra settings 1080p this is definitely a great choice.

Can you upgrade the ram to 32gb on this model because i tried months ago And it wouldn't slot in my friend tried also but wouldn't slot in then it messed my other ram up then had to factory reset my pc then it was fine.. and can you upgrade the CPU to a 5800x3d or would i need a new motherboard.
And I find this PC quite noisy with just the normal fan speed..
I added an extra 16 gb to mine and it worked great, so you can.

It should run. I tested some high graphics games in this video. If the games you want to run have the same hardware requirements then they should run smooth

I have an i7 13700F 4060ti version, and the i7 runs like an i5 when benchmarked, because they limit the DDR5 RAM to 4400MHZ even though they advertise it with 4800MHZ lol

Hey so im thinking of getting this PC, im on a budget and a beginner gamer, upgrading from a 2013 laptop😭 so really quite a big jump. My only issue is that the wifi router is downstairs and i want to place the PC upstairs, i saw on the front of the PC it says “wireless connection” does this mean i dont need an ethernet cable to use it (keeping in mind i of course plan to use it for games and dont want low fps, which is the reason for my upgrade) ive seen usb wifi adapters but im unsure if ill need one with this PC. Do NOT buy this pc. I promise that you will regret it if you do. It's too small, overheats constantly, and you can't upgrade anything on it, except RAM and the GPU, which will have to be power efficient due to the pathetic 500w psu this thing comes with. Want to upgrade the psu? Well, good luck with that.
The overheating is the most irritating thing of all about this pc. I can't even play an old game like GTA V for 5 minutes without hitting 90° cpu temps... Apparently, ACER considers 90° cpu temps within the "normal" range... I have tried everything to cool the cpu down, including reapplying new paste. It didn't help, because the cpu cooler this thing comes with is garbage. It's almost like ACER has done everything in their power to limit what you can add or subtract from this pc. I wish I never bought this piece of crap.
Such a long text and no really good information. I saw a lot of videos where you can see how to change all the parts 😂 .. sure, the psu is not good and the fans are too loud. But if you change the cpu fan , the Front one and these on the backside the Computer works fine with good temperatures.. i dont know why its so hard to google a bit or just use youtube. Its easy and can help to fix the problems ✌️

I literally had this pc a few months back and for the money your paying for this set up ain't worth it at all in my opinion as I had it heating up like crazy after a month and a half to 2 months and I clean my place everyday because I have 2 kids so couldn't imagine my place being a dust bomb for the pc lol 😂 but yh just to find out the PSU is shit as it doesn't have the best airflow and the case is terrible because you can't swap out the motherboard for a better one just to settle this for this pre built pc you literally can't upgrade anything really at all so I ended up taking the GPU CPU and the ram cards to make my own pc and now it runs amazing has a Corsair water cooler elite I have the elite fans and a nice MSI bazooka motherboard the pc stays really cold now and the components I used from the pre built pc are working loads better but the GPU I ended up upgrading it anyway so I have a spare GPU lmao
