Classy. Elvis didn't need to criticize other performers to lift himself up. So many people still criticizing him for so many things to this day. Jealousy. 💖
That shows his character... Others criticized him even the Beatles and many of his peers or other stars went after him often behind his back or before ever even meeting him... Often they were jealous... But Elvis did feel honored and blessed and never turned from his gratitude by becoming too egotistical or critical of others... Often he admired others and felt they should have the same opportunities he was blessed with... That's why he reins and why he is so loved... In this day and age more stars should be more humble and grateful to their place and to fans like he did... His talent and character shines above the rest...
Yes Valvis even to this day people still attack him and why? What does it accomplish when he was human and humble and had great talent let alone humanity, patriotism and love for everyone..
Yes, a wonderful response. The entire MSG press conference is great! He shows his sense of humor, his generous spirit, his beautiful speaking voice, and his charisma.
I was raised if you can't say something nice about someone don't say nothing at all. I think Elvis pretty much was raised like that. I know he joked about some of the other entertainers but they were really his friends. Elvis was a jokester. Thank you for taking your time to do this video. Good advice. I've learned a lot from knowing Elvis, through books and videos. How he conducted himself. Especially how he loved the Lord. R.I.P Elvis 💕👑💕
He was humble, generous, never forgot where he came from and his faith was strong! That made him what he was, in my opinion. And he knew his power! You can see him smile when he hit a high note or did something impressive. Hope someone will understand what I mean. ⚡⚡⚡
Yeah, I know exactly what you mean with him showing a little elvish looking smile 😜 (I'll save any unfamiliar the trouble of checking dictionaries: elvish: usually good-naturedly mischievous)
I know what you mean he always had that smile when he sang a high note he knew his own talent but he was too nice to say anything bad about other entertainers 💚☘️
This is a proof that Elvis never said anything bad to black folks we know he loved them he love just about everybody no matter what was the color of the skin they have white yellow red it dint matter to him he was a true loving man.
It's so different now. Everyone has to have an opinion on everything because everyone has a platform (social media) on which they can "share their thoughts". And that's not for me to judge or hate on. I'm not. It is what it is. Heck, I'm grateful for social media because without the internet and CZcams and Elvis YT'ers I would have never discovered Elvis or the Elvis fan community in the first place. But watching clips like this just makes me think about how much easier it must have been, in a way, to live in a world without this heightened paranoia of being possibly demonized by social media. Elvis could have easily fallen into that trap that so many do. (Especially nowadays when anything you say can easily be taken out of context and twisted around.) I think this just doesn't show humility on Elvis's part but a heightened awareness of the traps that the media set up for celebrities for that damning "Gotchya!" Having said all of that, thank you so much for sharing 😁👍 Love your channel, btw ⚡❤
He was humble, and respectful of all. He never lost that southern boy raising and he preached the Bible to his friends & family daily, sometimes from memory. He knew true values
If only some entertainers could give the credit to Elvis like he gave to others...Elvis knew he was number 1 but treated that position with respect by the way he acted
Elvis was ALWAYS polite and never lost it, and from 1956 on, he always knew how to handle reporters. I especially love the one in 1956, he was absolutely perfect for a 21 year old.
Elvis was a very humble man, I’ve had the pleasure of attending one of his concerts and met him after that show, he was an extremely humble and kind hearted man, a blessing on this world that is no longer with us sadly, but all the stories from different people about his kindness are paramount to his image even in todays age, so many stories of Elvis doing good deeds for others simply because he could and chose to do so, he was raised with the right attitude and he carried that attitude all the way through his life. Elvis has so many stories of so many different events such as buying a brand new Cadillac for a woman after speaking with her about the car she wanted that was on the showroom floor, saying she knew she could never afford to own one but wanted one so badly and Elvis right then and there went over to a salesman and bought her that Cadillac for her simply because he could, he had a big heart, not many big name stars in todays world would ever do such a thing today, it’s a world that’s no longer here, a world of kindness and love that no longer exists, today it seems like the world and it’s people are all out for themselves and hellbent on destroying each other simply because of the unkind words and mentalities of the population of todays age, it’s sad really to see that most people now won’t even offer a helping hand to someone in need and instead just flip their nose up and pretend that they never noticed the wrongs in the first place, I just hope that with time the world will be able to show more kindness and put itself back together again with time, maybe people would think differently if they were put into the shoes of the people who need help the most, if they could just see what impact a simple good deed could do for someone since you never know what you fellow man may be going through and that a simple hello and a how are you could make someone’s cruddy day turn around a bit for the better, that’s why I like talking with people who are less fortunate than I myself am, some people really need a lot of help and a lot of love to get them back into a better state of living, especially the homeless, Elvis would have had the exact same mentality what what I’m thinking I believe, such a blessed soul.
He's such a respectful and dignified man. That comes from his upbringing and his real life experiences. The industry is extremely tough and the amount of hours of perfecting their craft means that every performer who is successful is successful for a reason. The media in my opinion insinuates to gain viewership at the cost of hurting others in the process
E looks soo damn good in that suit! Phew!!!! Heart palpatations. But, dummy, he was in the #1 spot most all the time...anyways...dippy. The only time they really started criticizing him is when he was dead.
What An Extraordinary Man Elvis Was And He's Absolutely Correct About Not Criticizing Other Entertainers There Is Absolutely Room For All‼️ May Elvis Rest In Eternal Peace🙏🕊 With God✝️ His Heavenly Father🙏🕊 Lord And Savior Jesus Christ🙏🕊 All The Angels In Heaven🙏🕊 And All His Loved Ones In Heaven🙏🕊AMEN🕊🙏
Elvis was so humble, he never made demands like so many celebrities do today, he was comfortable in his own skin and how own talent. It would have been hypocritical of him to dish any other performer as he was when he started out by the establishment.
Elvis didn't have to promote himself. Or put down anybody he was #1 till he passed away. Elvis is still loved by many people still today. Including me.
He also corrected some young ladies in the audience who were holding a huge sign that said, "ELVIS IS KING" and Elvis said, "There is only one king and that is KING JESUS". I loved him for that.
People can say what they want about Elvis but the simple truth and I feel most would agree, is that Elvis, deep down in his truest self was a VERY HUMBLE SOUL!! He was, sweet kind, caring, honest, loving, empathic and compassionate!! There are toooo many adjectives to describe how TRULY AMAZING he was!! If I had to sum it up in one word, almost seems impossible!!!! I'll try though and I tried to find better suited words and synonyms but all I can say is CLASS and a lot of it!! He was a truly classy man. CLASSIC!!!!. He could've been full of himself and tore others down to build himself up but he just wasn't that kind of person. He seemed to ALWAYS put others before himself. A TRUE GENTLEMAN in every sense of the word!!!!👍😊🙏💜🤗💗
At Madison Square Garden he was truly in a class of his own. I can’t think of any other performer at that time who even came close. Vocally, physically, stage presence, charisma etc etc. Unbelievable how at least one show wasn’t professionally filmed as it was such an iconic venue.

Yes he was
What a great, classy man Elvis was. Stars today could take a lesson from his humility. God rest his soul.
Elvis didn’t do that because he wouldn’t. He was to nice and cared about everyone. Elvis didn’t need to lift himself up higher by pushing others down.
Elvis was diplomatic and generous to other performers here, but Elvis could afford to as he was THE BEST! 👑
Elvis is just on another level, cant think of a better singer and performer, even after all this time!

No one puts the king in a corner !!!

Love that blue suit.......Elvis is the man!!!!!
I think you should’ve took the jacket off. I like that soak shirt underneath. But, it’s more “Elvis” to leave it on
