      never heard anything about this, just like cooking anime. I came into this thinking it be a nice 12 episode one-and-done season of anime. Just this week read a comment that this is just the first half and that it gets as grim as berserk from here. Bro im terrified of the next 13 episodes. T-T

      They actually won't finish the manga with these 24 episodes. At the pace they're going, they'll reach a little past the midpoint of the manga at the end of this season.

    Laios...Marcille....Chilchuck...Senshi... long ago, the 4 party members lived in relative peace, but everything changed when the Red Dragon was attacked. Only Kensuke, master of all Animated Armors could restore peace. But when the party needed him most, he vanished...

    I really love the way they fight the dragon, it's very grounded (Is that the right word ?), u have to use strategy and stuff to actually beat it.

    (I could be remembering it a bit differently but) So they extracted a part from the manga the last ep when Namari was at the resurrection center they came across a body unrecognisable all burnt out and shit. Kiki was curious why they hadn't been resurrected and Namari answered that resurrections at that calibre could only be done by really powerful mages who don't live near the island the dungeon is at so they only come to resurrection center once a month or so. Resurrecting a body too damaged let alone only bones needs to be performed by those powerful mages in the surface but we don't know how that would affect Falin's attachment to her body.

    • @alecLogan
      @alecLogan Před 4 měsíci +15

      There’s still a _chance_ that they show that next episode, but man if they aren’t getting the readers antsy playing jigsaw with something important.

      Yeah I got really disappointed when they skipped that part, is it so hard to just copy the source material? Instead, they would cut stuff out because of what, "budget?", "time?", "pacing" that's just dumb excuses for not adapting the manga faithfully

  • @enriqueortiz9093
    @enriqueortiz9093 Před 4 měsíci +28

    I don't know why, but an important scene was omitted. I'll tell you simply, to heal someone, magic only rebuilds a portion of the body and it depends on how intact it is and how high the level of the magician is, for example, when Marcille healed Laios's leg, it was left a mark for not being able to cure it perfectly. Marcille's level is not enough to rebuild Falin's body using only the bones.
    Falin's farewell message is only in Laios' head, the opening lyrics tell that someone wants to stay trapped in a dream just to remember the things they lost, but his body tells him that he has to move on, his heart pumps blood and his legs work, so he has to move forward, the world is cruel and does not care if someone dies, time keeps moving forward and you have to move forward with it, because then you will find more things that you can treasure.

  • @maial.a8751
    @maial.a8751 Před 4 měsíci +17

    Regarding the rules of resurrection that actually should have been covered in episode 10, I'm not sure why the anime skipped over it. I wonder if they're gonna mention it on the next episode or something? [The explanation cut from episode 10 is under the read more, I don't know if this counts as a spoiler since it's technically from a previous chapter? Either way please delete this without reading further if I'm overstepping.]
    Namari explains to the twins in the chapter equivalent to that episode that there are limitations to what can be resurrected. The more damaged the body, the most likely it is for the resurrection to fail, since there is only so much restoring that regular healing magic can do, as such you still need most of your body to be intact for the spell to work. So things aren't looking very good for Falin at all

      @maial.a8751 Před 4 měsíci +8

      @@unnecessarilyhonest6051 I'm not sure how that would make sense? If anything, knowing the hard limits of resurrection is what would create more despair since now you'd understand you can't just fix any mistake with magic. But still, your guess is as good as mine, who the hell knows what's the reasoning here

      Its the same with Kabru's party, where they have scenes that were cut off completely even though its essential for the worldbuilding and its story

    4:03 fwiw, the building drop wasn’t intended to scratch/kill it, just hold its weakpoint within reach for a piking.
    13:42 No, it didn’t. She was younger at the mage school and they’d been a part of a gold stripping crew a couple years ago, that we know of. Death’s door was the thing. What direction it was supposed to imply (whether he couldn’t travel with her because _he_ was actively bleeding out, or his brain was having doubts on if she could be saved after the dragon got brought down), debatable.
    18:04 Well. Somewhat. Purportedly, the criminal element of the island has done ‘some’ torturous testing of how that works, and even without getting to them, the premise of taking over the dungeon was given by a guy who _faded to dust_ after providing the challenge.
    19:59 Yeaaah, it’ll have to come next ep. Kept getting antsy this one wondering where they’d cut things off.
