- In this episode I'll be showing how to make some dwarven doors, doorways, and arches - just using a few paper printouts and bits of cardboard.

IDK what specific act triggered my brain to say "This is like Bob Ross for TTRPGs" in this video, but I think its 100% accurate. Keep up the good work brother!
:) will do!
Who here is also irrationally excited about this door template?
Me me me!
I do like the textures.
Apart from using cereal boxes, I sometimes use 180gsm to 210gsm card paper.
I laughed when I saw the door slid down. The sophistication of your paper builds is amazing, and as someone who doesn't much like painting terrain I have found your printed textures to be a god send.
Glad you like 'em (I'm not fond of painting terrain too... as you might have guessed :) ).
I really like this "moving parts' system, it gives an interesting look to the table. Thank you very much for sharing your wisdom with us!
No problem :)
This series of dwarven architecture is fantastic.
Good to hear that you're enjoying it!
Good to see the slot doorway again.
Thank you for this addition to the dwarven series. The whole set looks fantastic together.
Thanks... and yeah, it usually takes a couple of videos/pdfs before it all to come together :)
These doors look so stately! Very nice!
:) thanks :)
Very nice, very nice.
I really like this series of dwarven architecture. Love the graphics you have done. Severely tempted to do something with it : O)
Thanks (I'm sure you can find a use for it :) ).
Gorgeous work, as always.
Thanks :) :) :)
Love it! (Can't beat moving parts)
Sehr schöne Türen. Die werde ich in den nächsten Tagen mal bauen.
Hope it goes well!
More great pieces!
Another triumph!
Excellent as always
The final layout at the end looked really good. Nice stuff.
:) thanks :)
Very nice mate 👍👍
Love it.
Very cool !
As usual, another great craft.
Thanks for the video! Strong doors and well designed!
No probs (that'll be dwarven engineering for you lol :) ).
Looking great!!!
Beautiful work!!!!
Neat! I love these sorts of functional builds.
I recently saw a couple of reviews of an old board game called Dark World.
It includes something that you might want to try building.
Secret rotating doorways!
If I remember correctly, one is a large mirror and the other is a large painting.
I'd love to see your take on this idea.
Love it
Brilliant stuff really good you make it look so easy
This one isn't all that difficult to make... it just takes a bit of time cutting all the pieces to size (and to a lesser extent, waiting for the glue to dry :) ).
Thanks again
Another good one ✌️
Veriy nice, as usual. I always look forward to your vids. :)
Glad to hear it :)
Thanks!
No probs (and thank you!)
Very cool looking build as always! :) Also, I was wondering if you'll be updating the Print and Paste Index document soon? I could be mistaken but I don't believe anything has been added to it since the Ruins video.
Yeah... it's something I keep meaning to do... but I struggle to get around to it 😅
Hello, very good video, and as always very clear and simple.
I have a request, would it be possible that you could create the textures to similarly assemble doors for the Sci-fi textures?
Thanks for your job.
It's something I might attempt in the future (though I don't have any immediate plans I'm afraid).
Thanks for all these amazing products and support videos, excellent quality. Just wondering if it's possible to scale these down for 15mm scale by printing to 60%? Would this work?
Try it at 60% and see how it looks next to your minis is my best advice. However, the main thing to keep in mind is the size of bases that you're using for your standard human size model. For example, if you're using 15mm diameter/square bases on your 15mm models, then printing at 60% should mean that one base fits inside one square of the floor tile pattern. If you are using bigger bases (20mm diameter for example), you'll probably need to print the tiles at something closer to 80% in order to use the grid (if that makes sense).
Build along dwarven dung?
It kinda is I suppose :)
I’d love to adapt these 4” wide dwarven doors to your 2.5D series. Would you suggest bases similar to the Pillars video? Any plans to adapt these yourself? Cheers
I'm not quite sure what you mean, sorry.
If you have 2" corridors/entrances/exits on your 2.5D tile (like I have) then the ones I mention here will do the job: czcams.com/video/4KTgakxc2Fk/video.htmlsi=KBqasAN8H9xsb56J&t=346 (i.e. just remove them from play when they are opened).
On the other hand, if you make specific 4" wide corridors/entrances/exits, they should work as is.
Alternatively, if you just want to place them over the walls - you could probably do something like these: czcams.com/video/_wJiXPmn_0w/video.htmlsi=ijdc26HxmcUXqOZj&t=131
Did that answer the question?
@@CrookedStaffTerrainYeah the bases from the Archways (not pillars, sorry) & Large Doorways are perfect thanks! My D&D group is going to experience a bunch of your Print&Paste magic for the first time this weekend!
@@aaronmarquette Hope it goes well! :)
