Extra fun bit of info with Styx deaths is that if you die by falling (airship being the best example), there is also a decent chance of Styx screaming "Fuuuuuuuuck yooooooouuu" as he's falling...

Several of the devs for Splashdown worked on Microsoft Motocross Madness, which also featured a similar way to keep your character in bounds by having them fly back to the centre of the map in a similar fashion, whistle sound included.
Remember Lan partying Motocross Madness with my dad and sis back in the day. We would eventually get bored and start driving up to the plateaus just to get launched XD

The devs of Splashdown also added similar functions for sending the player back to the play area in their other games, like ATV Offroad Fury, Motocross Madness, etc. It's always a hilarious time. 🤣
That cannon effect as also used in a bunch of other games like Motorcross Madness, ATV Offroad fury, MX vs ATV Unleashed, and more recently Descenders, a downhill mountain biking game.
god motorcross madness was so much fun when i was a kid. I remember discovering an OG easter egg where on one of the maps you could find a trailer park and if you parked by one of the trailers youd hear unique dialogue from inside the trailer.
Honestly the weird fetus thing in Please Don't Touch Anything is something I could've probably gone my whole life without having to see

One of the first Easter eggs I ever found when I was younger was from Psychonauts when you find Mills’s backstory with the chest and all the burning kids inside wish I never saw that one when I was like 6 💀

I used to play Family guy as a kid it was fun just had a flaw but there is one thing were most hilarious and were the mini games. One in particular is where Peter couldn’t afford a mini game and it’s just a stick man and he says “Just press any button yeahhhh” if you do he just says “Yaaayy” and you win the mini game and when you lose he’s just ready to cuss you out like it was so hilariously good

Hey man I saw you include a nice retraux game called Forgive Me Father a couple vids ago, I wanted to say there was another cool Easter egg from the game. In the level where you fight off all the cultists swarming you in the woods, there is a cabin at the end. Inside is a chainsaw and bolted shut trapdoor, where you need to grab the key to keep playing. Once the priest grabs the key, he says “Groovy.” Making the cabin a nod to the Evil Dead

So, at the beginning of Harley Quinn’s side story, Harley gives the gang her journal after running to records. However, there is a subtle hint of foreshadowing in her journal on what Harley will do next. Let me explain. Written in her journal are the words “Lights on, Boom, and Welcome to my party”. The “Lights on” are the spotlights on at Harley Quinn’s pill presentation. The “Boom” are the bombs under the stage that you need to disarm. Finally, “Welcome to my party” is what Harley says during the final battle with you. This could be me reading too much into this, but i feel like this was a very subtle hint of what’s to come.

Don’t know if you covered this yet, but there’s a neat detail in Spider-Man: Miles Morales, during the We’ve Got A Lead side mission, when you get to the room with the computer, before interacting with the computer, you can interact with a pile of photos and Miles will take one for himself. Later on, you can find that exact photo taped to the desk in Miles’ bedroom.

Hi! I just got the chance to play the amazing Witcher 3 and there is a really nice detail during mission: A towerful of mice, if you choose to get the daughter's bones to the fisherman, she will kill him as soon as you leave, and if you go back, the room will be filled with rats. Just a nice touch.
