I tried the kickers and they had more bass but not clarity of these polk and I'd definitely would have put Rockford in place of these but I could only mount something like these polk that do not have a grille because I wanted to use factory locations and Rockford and most marine speakers have a fat thick grille as part of the cage to support the tweeter bridge , but we are happy with these polks, they are load and clean just no mid bass. But the towers and subs are amazing and make up for their lack of
They have held up fine and do sound good, I'm more of a Rockford Fosgate ,and JL Audio fan (but JL is proud of their stuff compared to RF)but had to stick with these Polk to fit in the factory space on the boat , anything with a built on grill (90% or more marine speakers ) would not fit. Polk much better that Rockford - and all the other brands are not 100 rms like the polks per speaker. And most sellers state that

Hey bud how have this speaker held up over time and usage? What other brands would you recommend for the same price of those?

How do I put the grills on?
Sorry I didn't even look at the grilles because I dont need them on this boat it has a big factory grill cover over hole assembly
