I've had these identical speakers in my boat for over 10 years. Just bought a replacement set April 2022. They are exactly the same and my 10 year old ones. Tons of bass all by them selves. Sound great

Is this just deck and speakers or are you running a amp as well

People knock Sony. But out of all the sundown, kenwood, skar, american bass, powerbass and do on stuff ive owned. My 11 year old 600w 4 channel amp sony xplod from walmart never clonked out on me. I plan on using it to power my doors and behind the seat sub in my s10. I bought it from Walmart new. And never gave me a issue. Never used their speakers. Ive always been a pioneer head unit and speaker guy. My subs normally are American bass or custom upgraded reconed American bass like i have now. Everyone thinks my door speakers are crescendos or fosgates in my Tahoe. Im like its just 2 pioneer 75w rms 6.5 coaxials. And they always are like 2 speakers are that loud and clear the american bass HD 12 with the custom recone doesnt even overpower them. 2 zv5 12s didnt overpower them either. And they are just on 20w rms head unit power till i get a 4 channel amp and add 2 more in the back. And run them at rated. Best part was they came with the universal door adapters for multiple vehicles one happened to be my Tahoe. Saved me a extra 15 bucks for the door adapters spent that to get the foam speaker protectors in the door.

So I've got the exact same older Sony's in my boat. I've been looking at the same speakers. Do they sound better than the older Sony's or pretty much the same? My old ones not giving me any issues.
