- If you eat fresh fruits and vegetables, then you may also be eating maggots as well. This video will explain why that is and how to avoid it from happening to you.

I always wash apples with soap and water, rinsed thoroughly, since they aren’t sealed and have been handled by others in the grocery store. That alone is unsanitary.

That is so kind of you to say that. Very much appreciated. I have been around for a long time, so I do understand a little about life, but one CZcams channel is about all I have time for. You would not believe how much time it takes to make a video. Depending on the nature of the video, it takes between 1 to 5 hours of production time to produce just 1 minute of finished video. Then I need to create a thumbnail for it. It can take a couple of days to come up with the concept for it and actually create it. I think this is true for most CZcamsrs. I am always impressed with CZcamsrs who crank out 1 or 2 videos a week. I don't know how they find time to do it. I'm lucky if I can get one done in a month. So, just one channel keeps me quite occupied. Lol. Besides, I'm sure there are a lot of folks out there who are way wiser than I am about life in general, so I'm probably best served by staying in my lane. It is very kind of you to think of me that way. You made my day. Be well my friend.

The first thing you need to know about silverfish is that they get into your house from the outside. Therefore, the first thing you need to do is to treat the outside of your home. I'll give you a link to my video on how to do that.
The next thing you need to do is treat the inside of your home. Purchase Niban FG Fine Granular Bait. I will give you a link for the product. You can apply this product in cracks and crevices in areas that are not accessible by people or pets, where you were seeing the silverfish activity. One of the nice features about this product is that it comes with an applicator tip, so that you could apply it without using a duster. Treat under baseboards, appliances, and where plumbing penetrates the wall, like under the sinks, and where the toilet supply pipe goes into the wall. You can also apply the product in basements, attics, and crawl spaces. In more open areas, you can use Dekko Silverfish Packs. You can place these on kitchen shelves, under sinks, inside drawers, on bookshelves, in pantries, in attics, or any other place you are seeing activity that is out of reach of children and pets. You want to place these about every 12 inches apart on shelves, and place about three or four of them under sinks and under appliances.
Finally, it's a good idea to seal up any cracks and crevices on the outside and the inside of the building. Not only will this help to stop silverfish, but other invading pests as well.
