Britain has 2 choices. Adhere to all the freedoms of a customs union within the EU or leave without a deal. Its that simple. For 2 years now Britain has being wasting it's time trying to negotiate a deal which would close it's borders to the EU people, but remain open and frictionless to trade. It will never happen.

Wow, a breakup of the party system in UK politics.
Imagine if MPs were directly and only accountable to their constituents? No party whip, no party politics, corporate/banking lobbying would become much more difficult if not just pointless, no such thing as "safe seats" and individual MPs would live and die by their direct relationship with the local people who vote for them.Politicians would also no longer be so dependent on mainstream media image so the press/politician dynamic might actually focus on policies rather than the usual crap.
Maybe i'm missing something about this but it sounds like a pretty good thing.

There is no negotiation about a free trade areement at the moment. If the Irish boarder is not decided on, there is no need to disuss the framework of future relations. The final trade deal would be negotiated after March 2019, when the UK is out. IN order to get a withdrwal agreement an agreement on the Irish boarer must be reached first.

Dominique Grieve subscribed to Heath's definition of the EU as supranational: that the EU overrides UK law, no ifs, no buts. This is not the position of Germany, nor of France. Grieve turned down my proposal to alter the wording of 1972 ECA Section 2.1. along the lines of the German Constitutional Court's definition of the EU as an alliance of sovereign states, and of German citizens inalienable rights to sanction their lawmakers. By refusiung this simple suggestion, Grieve and his fanatical Remainers brought the June 23 2016 vopte on the UK's head. I don't know why anybody bopthers with the man.

The UK can only fully leave, or fully stay. Even if this horse trading was effective (and it isn't), the UK is severely running out of time. If either the Conservatives or Labour really care so much about the future of the country (and I am not convinced they do), they would cease these charades about this or that variant of deals, and act now.
If the UK wants to stay, the decisions need to be carried out until December, if the long-term crisis is to be averted. If the UK wants to leave, it should negotiate a few minor precautions with the EU and just leave next year. There is absolutely no point to prolonging a divorce for years via disingenuous smartarsery. Equally, there is absolutely no point to a divorce if the arguments for it are unconvincing.
And no, "will a'the people, but no more democracy after June 2016" is not a valid argument. Especially when even former PM Cameron was unable to take responsibility for two referenda that polarised and traumatised UK society to the point that this bad blood might last for decades on end. He had no plan, there was no plan, it was all a stupid bluff of career politicians. May and Corbyn are doing the same thing now. Do you think they honestly care about the well-being and future of many generations of British citizens, rather than warming their own political capital soup ?

The UK will soon implode politically and economically. Time’s up. The problem is that the UK still thinks to be able to dictate terms. They want all the positives of the EU but not the negatives. Those days are gone, they now are learning that... the hard way.

There is a simple solution to this. No deal BREXIT and not one british citizen to be allowed to emigrate from the UK after Jan 2019. That way everyone suffers equally and everyone understands what the UK experiences in a "no deal" reality

MPs need to realise the people had the vote and it was leave. If we get a no deal then the remainers in Parliament cannot moan - constantly rejecting everything, stalling. The EU don't allow anyone to leave and the remainers in Parliament are just proving that correct but it isn't working 😎😎😎🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 Brexit

I voted leave because every time I expressed my concerns about immigration I found some liberal pointing at me calling me racist. If you debate people then you have the chance to change their mind. If you call someone a racist you only feel that you have won the argument. In fact all you did was fail to engage in argument.

You hate to be reminded that you lost the vote. 17 million 'racists' agree with me. Most likely up to about 21 million now because re-moaners are incapable of any form of debate that is based on valid points. We didn't win, you lost. Every time a normal person is called a racist by one of you lot that is another person alienated. We know that we aren't racist. The same thing caused Trump's victory.

Labour have committed to ending free movement (contrary to the Single Market), and maintaining the ability to subsidize/support/invest in British industry (contrary to the EU's "level playing field"--which itself is un-level because the EU is designed to subsidize French agriculture and protect German manufacturing). Even if a dozen+ Tory MPs broke to vote with Labour/ SNP/ LDs/ PLAID, this "new authority" will face the same dilemma: "a" customs union or "the" customs union. There will still come a point that the EU will say "no cherry picking; if you want the benefits of EU membership you must pay ALL the costs." And Labour know they will lose more pro-Brexit Labour votes should they do this. Let them form an unnatural national government. It will collapse immediately, and the political shockwaves will carry us over the no-deal threshold.
