    There's so much hidden depth to AMP1 you don't see at first. I'm not sure I can think of another guitar product so well thought out.

    Glad I just found this video. I just bought this amp, and according to the "manual" in order to do the switch bewtween regular mode and preset mode and do the pedal save function it tells you a "different way" to do this...I thought my amp1 was defective so I was gonna send it back. WOW, sure glad this now does what it's supposed to do in different modes. I literally was getting pissed off about this. I feel much better...guess I will keep this Amp1 unit now. AND, i read alot of reviews and comments about this Amp1 before I purchased it and alot of guitarists say it looks really awesome but it's too dab it doesnt allow you to do a "preset mode" with the buttons other than toggle back & forth between clean and a single overdrive channel so apparently MOST people dont even know that the Amp1 has this super great feature !!! I was also looking into buying the additional floor switching unit too but didnt really want to do that at this early time of just getting this unit until i completely have tried it out. AND I HAVE THE IRIDIUM MODEL...

    AND I WANNA KINDLY SUGGEST HERE that being an IRIDIUM owner please make a "matching black color" REMOTE unit !!!!!!

  • @HermelJaworski
    @HermelJaworski Před 4 lety +1

    That's cool to have the possibility to store presets... but too bad you can't store the volume and gain of the channels... as a result you can't get a nice crunch with the gain on 2 on the vintage channel, and a solid lead tone with the gain on 6 on the classic channel.

    • @BluGuitar
      @BluGuitar  Před 4 lety +1

      Well, with the original AMP1 you can store clean volume and gain using the REMOTE1 or Midi.

    Something I would like to be clearified of...when storing the channel you can also store the settings e.g. bass/mids/tre/gain ?

    • @BluGuitar
      @BluGuitar  Před 2 měsíci

      No! AMP1 only memorizes: channel, boost, reverb, FX-Loop on/off - no settings of knobs

  • @maceonbass
    @maceonbass Před 10 měsíci

    Is there any way to save the boost as ‘on’ on the clean channel when using a separate foot switch? So when I switch from say vintage to clean I retain the boost for the clean channel?

    • @BluGuitar
      @BluGuitar  Před 10 měsíci

      If you use AMP1 internal presets on the internal footswitches, you can store CLEAN and Boost on eg. the left footswitch. So every time you press that footswitch it’s automatically with boost. If you want to switch it off: use the external double footswitch (boost & Reverb on/off)

    How the heck do you program presets to your liking when you have to have the same EQ for all three presets?? Glad I came across this, as, for some reason it is not stated in the manual. I thought I was loosing my mind trying to program this thing.

    • @BluGuitar
      @BluGuitar  Před 2 lety +1

      The manual states that only the switching is programmable… the video does it too…
      The settings of the 4 channels with the custom controls give you many options . If you want more: AMPX will do that…

      @@BluGuitar Yes, my bad for assuming it would do otherwise. When will the AmpX be released? Thank you

    • @BluGuitar
      @BluGuitar  Před 2 lety

      @@HamsterSpanks No worries! We know it's not the world's most simple amp. The AMP X is planned for release in June (to coincide with the 2022 NAMM Show)!

      @@BluGuitar I'll diffinently be buying one. I gigged the other night with the Iridium. I ran my Axe Fx III in stereo, with the Iridium up the middle. Wet, dry, wet. Sounded great!!
