      This his analysis is misleading. If you appreciate this nonsense in Ghana called health insurance, then it's because you've not been exposed enough.
      If you have one cloth, you never know when it's dirty. Whatever it is, i think it needs improvement. People still pay even though they have valid health insurance cards. Some are given prescriptions to buy medicines from outside.

      @@abdulmajeedpiyam6199 masa stop misleading others. You know how health insurance work in Ghana. Even now you go to any health facility without any difficulties. Everything is computerised

      Ghanaians are easily deceived. Even though the grumble too much thry fo nothing so the authorities know this.
      The health insurance isn't working in many parts of the country. Most places it's just consultation that they don't pay. They pay for laboratory services, x ray and other tests and finally you Are given prescription to buy the medicines from out side. Where the insurance here?

    If we have this in Nigeria the poor will not be able to afford it they will be reviewing and increasing the insurance amount every month

    • @thestrongsignal
      @thestrongsignal Před 2 měsíci

      How won't the poor be able to afford it?
      In Ghana here renewing your National insurance cost 25 cedis. For me i pay 6 cedis because i am a public servant signed onto Social Security.
      Your parliament passed a bill in 2022 to start it. Nigeria tried it years a ago but it was a failure. Many people were not signed onto it.
      Nigeria can do what Ghana has done so that the poor can afford it.
      In Ghana it is free for pregnant women as well.
