      @James Stockdale it's a good theory. The only thing that is proven is: Voldemort tortured Rufus for info and Voldemort's death eaters would show up when anyone said Voldemort's name. He was one of the greatest aurors in history, was taken by surprise by Voldemort and had to fight him by himself and gave him a good fight before being killed, and would no doubt have been a great Minister for a long time had the former event not taken place. @@vikingthedude so first of all you need to know that the creator of snitch wears gloves while making the snitch. Once the snitch has been caught by the seeker it is preserved. The snitch won't open unless it receives the touch of the seeker who had caught it. Here the minister was expecting that once harry touches the snitch it would unveil the secret that Dumbledore probably would have tried to give through the snitch. But as you can see in the scene it doesn't open itself, if you remember how he caught his first snitch then you will know that it was in his mouth so the snitch would reveal the message once he keeps it in his mouth. That's why they are all so desperate here.

    Movie: To Ronald Bilius Weasley, I leave my Deluminator. A device of my own making, in the hopes that when things seem most dark, it will show him the light.
    Book: To Ronald Bilius Weasley, I leave my Deluminator, in the hope that he will remember me when he uses it.

      @Ranger1812 Před 4 lety +90

      Zealous It’s not just foreshadowing, it’s the truth.
      All of the messages Dumbledore left with his bequests were instructions disguised as personal messages.
      “in the hope that when things seem most dark, it will show him the light.”
      He disguised as hoping he uses the Deluminator well with its basic ability his hope that, if Ron walks out (because of the effect of the locket, lest we forget), the Deluminator will show him the ball of light from Hermione saying his name.
      “in the hope that she find it entertaining and instructive.”
      He disguises as the book being one of fun stories with morals the hope that she realises one of the stories (entertaining) will reveal information they need along with the sign the Deathly Hallows (instructive).
      “as a reminder of the rewards of perseverance and skill.”
      He disguises as a normal life lesson the wisdom and encouragement that they’re going to go through immense turmoil and tribulations, but they can do this immense task, as well as of course giving him a clue as to the mindset he’ll need to have, and hiding what Harry will need to help and comfort him as he walks to his supposed death.

    They should have had Scrimgeour mention that the Sword (and by extension the sorting hat) was the only relic left belonging to the founders of Hogwarts, as the Cup, Diadem and Locket had been missing for centuries. This would make Harry realize that perhaps (part of) the reason Dumbledore left him the sword was to prevent Voldemort from turning it into a Horcrux and that he must have stolen the other relics and wanted the sword to complete his collection.

    Albus made this before he died, he wanted the Ministry of Magic to give it to the trio, but they had to inspect it first before they can present it. When they found that no dark magic was included, the minister got the go ahead. The minister for Magic visited the trio in the Burrow (the Weasleys house) and presented them items Dumbledore left for them to continue his hunt for Voldemort’s Horcruxs, Harry Potter was given the first snitch he has ever caught as a Quidditch seeker, Ron Weasley was given Albus’s Deluminator, Hermione Granger was given a book called the tales of Beedle the bard.
