What makes it funny is Voldemort is half blood himself. Idk why he is lecturing on how it’s an abomination.

There are RL parallels you can draw with Hitler talking about the Master Race being tall, blonde and blue-eyed while being none of those things and a lot of high-ranking Nazis having some Jewish ancestry as well. The whole "purity of blood" aspect of HP was written to be an allegory for such things so it's unsurprising that JKR would've written Voldemort to be this way.
It's clear that Snape and the Malfroys have great disgust over Voldemort's action but they have to endure it out of fear for their own life.
Yep, they had to Malfroys because they had nowhere safe to go. Snape because he and Dumbldor knew what they signed up willing to give up their own lives but not those who were not so willing expect for those they could not save.

Lucius just saved his life by giving the Dark Lord his wand. If you don't have a wand you can fight for anyside in the war to come. Also Nagini getting a dinner at the big table as she should. Best opening.
I often wonder if there was any way Hermione could have returned home and removed the Obliviate charm I order to reunite with her family once the battle was over. It makes me sad to think that she was removed from them out of necessity only to never return and be back while with her mom and dad.

There is a deleted scene where Gaxley (can't remember if that is his name or how it's actually spelt) actually visits Hermione's home but it's empty. By removing her parent's memories, it meant they could move to Australia. In an interview or Q&A, JK Rowling confirmed that she went to visit them and managed to undo the spell.
Need to have someone totally kill a small but important role? Bill Nighy (I know he does plenty of main parts too, but I’ve noticed he often appears in tiny roles but still stands tall)

I cant help but wonder what happens when Hermione's parents venture out into the world after she used the Obliviate charm. Like did she ONLY erase herself from her parents' memories? What happens if Hermione's dad is mowing the lawn and the neighbor sparks a conversations with him and asks about Hermione, only for Mr. Granger to ask who tf Hermione is? Wouldn't everyone in town assume that the Grangers definitely murdered Hermione?

This is explained, but only in the books, the movies do not mention it; Voldemort's behaviour towards Lucius changed completely after Order of the Phoenix, as he considers that Lucius is responsible for the loss of the prophecy in the Department of Mysteries, a prophecy that Voldemort wanted to obtain to understand the bond of destiny between Harry and him. Since then, he acted with bitterness as he wanted to make him pay for his mistake.
