Amazing how in 20 minutes of screen time he becomes one of the most iconic villains of all time.
Quality > quantity
Not to mention 20 minutes in 7 movies...
@@marjanp47848 actually because they made two parts for Deathly Hallows
@@shivaandayal5627The best villains is first quantity than quality.
Hannibal Lecter is in Silence of the Lambs about as much and that’s considered the most iconic villain of all time.
You have to admit Voldemort despite being evil has good manners
He is British after all
Exactly, he always waits until the end of the year to attack Harry, he values the students education😂
I don’t agree with that because Voldemort is pure evil he doesn’t care about anything why did he kill Lily and James ? Out of all evil . He isn’t Salazar Slytherin he is the kid who created a monster
He killed Lily and James , he killed Frank Bryce , he killed Cedric
@@silascallisonstill, he politely asked Frank to enter, calling him a guest, he also said to Wormtail “where are my manners? Turn me around Wormtail” he also very politely asks Harry to bow down before the duel, then lecture him about manners when he didn’t
Voldemort was a true horror icon when i was young. In the first 3 movies he was so cryptic
He's not in the third movie.
@@insiderjokevids He was mentioned, I think that is what the original comment was referring to, not the actual physical appearance. When spoke of Voldemort as this legendary dark entity (seemingly ancient in how he was referred to), an horror so horrifying even his own name insights fear.
@@captainflowers748 Right, but he doesn't appear. How is he more cryptic in the third movie than any of it's sequels when he doesn't show up in it?
@@insiderjokevids That’s the point. He doesn’t show up. Cryptic means mysterious. So they are right in what they are saying.
@@insiderjokevids Do you not know what cryptic means?
Ralph Fiennes did a excellent job as Voldemort. You see the malice in his facial expressions in Goblet of fire. In the Deathly Hallows you see the fear in his eyes. When he duels Harry in the Deathly Hallows you see the fear in his eyes. You see Voldemort thinking "I'm about to be killed by this boy, who is an average wizard at best.
Trash compared to the superior Voldemort in the first movie
daniel in an interview said he felt some pressure when acting with ralph as he portreyed voldemort so well
@@K.ligrafHe also felt pressure with Gary Oldman. That guy is an excellent actor as well. I didn't even know Gary Oldman played Sirius Black until after the last HP movie came out.
Ralph Fiennes is an amazing actor but this role was not fit for him. Compared to the first Voldemort in Philosophers Stone, he's idea of Voldemort was laughable
Crucio
Avada kedravra
Império
Sectumcempra
It's interesting to see Voldemort's encounter with Harry in Goblet of Fire, he's so energetic almost like he thrilled and excited to finally meet his greatest rival and equal in person, the last time for him was when Harry was a baby so it was years in the making
sorry to be a smartass xD but if i recall correctly he saw harry 2 other times: once he was the creature feeding on unicorn blood, after that he was that weird two headed tulban guy. Then technically in the chamber of secrets he saw Tom Riddle which was a piece of voldemort's soul (the book was the horcrux tho so bit of a plot hole). But in the goblet of fire was the first time we saw voldemort in what i'd assume is his 'normal form' instead of all these other mishaps just trying to survive for years and get stronger.
@@MrKrissKross2010 Not his "normal" form. His normal form was not so inhuman. He had a nose, his eyes were blood shot red, he had pale skin and still had hair before he died because of his soul sepertion
After he was rebirthed he was even "less" human
It’s even better in the book. Such a great scene and confrontation.
Christian Coulson’s Tom Riddle was very convincing. I’ve known sociopathic people when I was young and they have these particular manners to them that makes his character very accurate, and notable. You can hear the casual contempt in his tone while he speaks to Harry, and when you look into his eyes, there’s no emotion.
Tom Riddle from the second movie was perfectly casted
Agreed
Noo way too much fear and wussyness eminating from his aura. Needed to look way more sinister and evil like the young voldemort in deadly hallows
I felt his delivery of all his lines was not very good at all. I feel like young Voldemort would have a charming calm voice yet somehow sinister. But he spat out most of the words like he was angry
@@zzing15 He was only charming when he wanted to be, in meeting his future greatest enemy, he wasn't trying to charm Harry.
@@zzing15What Nathan said, Tom Riddle didn't need to charm anyone at the time. That's why he acted like 11 yo Riddle in HBP, angry and sinister. He was enraged his older self was defeated by Harry, and was intending to destroy HP, he didn't have to be charming, especially when Harry started to fill in the gaps about Riddle.
Voldy from being absolutely creepy in the first film to "eh heh heh" in the last film 😂
He just talked himself into believing the victory in the last film, and he was happy from the heart🤣
You try laughing without a nose
I know right in the first film he sounds like an actual snake but from the goblet of fire onward he sounds like he has laryngitis
I like how he pushes Bellatrix away when he says he doesn’t need her help
Nah he was mad rude for that
He's so insecure
Young Tom Riddle was quiet and secretive, sixth-year Tom Riddle was careful and deceitful, seventh-year Tom Riddle was aggressive and arrogant, and Lord Voldemort was pure evil and cruel. In my opinion, Ralph Fiennes was excellent at playing Voldemort aggressively, quickly, and vengefully in movies 4 and 5; he wanted to see Harry suffer. And in movies 7 and 8 he played him extremely dangerous, scary, unpredictable and determined to kill Harry at the first possible confrontation.
I love that Voldemort gets so desperate that despite his grand arsenal of destructive spells, he resorts to kicking and slapping Harry around.
would you be a death eater? I'm a death eater btw
So, if Tom Riddle became alive from the Diary, does that mean there would be TWO Voldemort’s running around? Now *that’s* scary to think about.
That would be correct.
Exactly,but also peculiar
No he just would have his body back earlier
@@lordvoldemort1561 How's not having a nose going for you?
Now you have me wondering: would they get along because they’re the same person or would they hate each other? Like I’m so evil I can’t even get along with myself.
Funny when the main villain gets a total of like 25min of screen time out of 8 movies
Quality over quantity. In Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal Lecter only graces the screen for 24 minutes of a 2 hour movie, yet his looming presence is felt throughout as he became one of the most iconic movie villains ever. It’s the same with Voldemort
@@AshleySmith19912 24min In a 2 hour movie versus 8 movies is a lot different
@@crimsonhartman Yeah I know, I was just giving somewhat of a comparison. Because even though Voldemort didn’t get a lot of screen time, his presence still loomed over the entire series.
some of the scenes are cut short, he has much more screen time
Ideally you don't give the villain any screen time, you use the audiences imagination to give life to the villain, they will dream something more personally terrifying than anything any individual representation can do.
Wild to think how little we got of Voldemort in the movies. Makes him much more menacing.
Adds to the image and prestige. Imagine him as some DJ Khaled, obnoxious and unwanted always sticking around. Boring.
same with johan liebert who only has 28 minutes of screentime and hannibal lecter with 24 minutes
Books is the same way.
I rather him being mysterious and dark.
I fucking love Voldemort's mannerisms
He got styles
Everyone appreciates a polite villain. Even gives compliments to handsome dead boys
Avraca davra
In what sense
After Voldy came out of the cauldron its always burned in my brain that he doesn't wear underwear. Always getting a fresh breeze.
burned your brain?
Imagine he he came back to life through the diary, he'd of been unstoppable
8:49 gets me everytime
I love how the fact even though hes THE voldy moldy he really cared about Harrys education and always attacked at the end of the year, great manners this pale guy has
Edit- i dont wanna be that person but i will be lol IM FAMOUS MUM
"Voldemort started to gather some followers, brough 'em over to the dark side. So, he decided to kill 'em." 6 seconds in and I can't stop laughing at the unintentional comedy.
lol would you be a death eater?
😂
Do you realise that Tom riddle always raises his eyebrows when talking
And flares his nostrils
YESS
Yeah i see that and he has some thick and long eyebrows there
5:20„The other arm wormtail“ 😂😂😂
let´s do the VoldiSignal
09:55 there's nothing to do, maybe I'm the only one who thinks so, but this is my favorite Tom Riddle
I agree
me too, his looks and his acting especially
YES >>>
he is terrible here, you can literally just see that he is very strange and suspicious) While he should pretend to be absolutely normal, like he was at HP2
OMG! YAS! I CANT BELEIVE I FOUND SOMEONE THAT ACTUALLY LIKES HIM IN THAT SCNEE
‘I can make bad things happen to people that annoy me’ - from the books and would have been much better to use.
agreed voldemort isnt supposed to be sympathetic
The subtle change from “annoy” to “mean to me” is very important
“Mean to me.”
@@S.D.323he’s very sympathetic. He basically comes from a white trash family. He’s the epitome of white privilege being a myth.
Strongest spell in all of HP... NYYAHH! @8:31
Agreed, pretty solid Nyyahh @ 14:19 as well.
Ralph Fieness was such a great touch for Voldemort !
4:42 to 4:44 had me rolling on the floor jumping off a cliff and disco dancing at the same time. His expression when he gets avada kedavra’d is madness
Something I don’t think about enough, Hagrid was fuckin terrified of Voldemort. He’s a half giant and not to mention Voldemort made Hagrid the fall guy for the chamber of secrets. Hagrid was officially blamed for myrtles murder. Malfoy is a brat sure but Hagrid a bully went on to take over the world almost. Skip to the last movie and Hagrid a bound in ropes being dragged through the forest. Man had so much mental torture. So sad.
I wish we could se a movie on the first wizarding war where Voldemort is in his prime.
Fun fact: Voldemort was mentioned in every movie, but the only movie where he didn't appeared at all (Dark Lord, Tom Riddle or flashback) is The Prisoner of Azkaban
Does he appears in the Half Blood Prince? I think not.
@@darth3261 flashbacks
He was mentioned in the prisoner of azkaban several times (Knight bus, conversation with Arthur etc.) or You just mean he didn't appear on the screen?
@@Havok0neyes that’s exactly what he said
Ironically it's the best movie.
Voldemort: "The man who tried, but failed every single time"
😅
Voldemort: "The man who died two freaking times before successfully living for four years until the third time."
The Man who was Soo terrified of Death ☠️⚰️
I’ve never seen the HP series, but for some reason I love Voldemort. Great edit!
It’s probably because you haven’t seen it but the edit is garbage tbh. It jumps around , cutting off sentences. It’s kind of annoying big you’ve seen the series
@@nodnoc9627 one day I'll actually watch all the movies. I'm not savvy on the lore but I love some Bellatrix and Voldemort clips.

Thank you so much for all your works!! You are amazing! 🥰Could you do the Ron scene pack if possible
and the mega link is not working somehow 😔
Love your content!❤ If you ever have the time, I'd personally love to see a Narcissa and/or Lucius scenepack
the way he says "g'night professor" kills me every time
8:49 that pose is just funny
I wish they didn't do that, also the part where he blows the fire and starts laughing. Takes away from the creepiness
Need more lucius and voldemort moments. The way vold says my lord 😂 11:52
I wish they would have shown his face when he went after Harrys parents I wanna know what he looked like there
It’s cool how Voldemort doesn’t kill Snape the way he usually does. He has so much respect for him that he didn’t want to just simply use the Avada Kadavera spell.
Thanks to voldermort i guess? Harry now knows all of the secret these years 😅
Someone said “The man who tried but failed every single time” and it got me thinking. He needed the luck to fail the mission successfully lol 😂
8:49 😂😂
Everyone: *scared to say Voldemort name*
Albus: *Ayo Tom*
Voldemorts face from the first movie was more frightening then in the later movies, because thinking back the mystery of this guy and why he was called the dark lord, had a more profund meaning which made him so dangerous in the first place
ik it sounds crazy but if i was in harry potter idk why but i would be a death eater

I have been thinking about this video to happen and hoped for it and I’m glad I’m now watching it
This guy was one of the reasons why 2005 was such a living hell for me…
4:14 I don’t know why, but I’m just freaking obsessed with his “What are you doing?” And “Stop” like the way he just calmly says them
Goblet of fire when lord Voldemort’s first real appearance is just a insane scene. My wand wormtail 😂 what a guy! One question tho when he battles Harry at the cemetery how come expelliamus, sorry if it’s spelt wrong can match with avada kadarva when Harry uses it to defend? Is the killing curse not a much stronger spell?
It's not really to do with the spells, it's the wands. The wands are brothers so they aren't actually attacking one another. That's why in DH1, Voldemort takes Lucius's wand because his wand can't do anything to Harry.
I don't care what people think but he is by far my favorite character...🖤💚🐍
would you be a death eater with me?
Same!
🐍💚🤍🖤
The third film is the only one in which Voldemort did not appear but was mentioned.
Voldemort is badass 🔥👍
TYSMMMMMMMMM
I hate that these are all chopped up with cuts everywhere. Let us watch the whole scenes, dammit.
If they did that it would be a copyright infringement.
@@Bruno-by8pb look at the profile pic, you're talking to a kid he doesn't know shit lol.
@@Bruno-by8pb No, it wouldn't. With your logic, all these chopped clips awfully strung together would count as copyright infringement.
Ur video is so pretty 💕 I'm really like it 💚
I was wondering why I felt a tinge of anxiety. It's the way the scenes cut 🤣
What a talent this man who played Voldermort!!!!
Voldemort was the wizard who gave Harry Potter his scar. He's ex Hogwarts students.
He knows the school like the back of his hand. Movie 1 and 2 were when he had his setbacks.
lmao Voldemort in the GoF was strangely handsome, when I saw the actor I completely understood why and I didn't feel like a freak.
What the heck
Omg yes finally a pack abt Voldemort that has amazing quality 😭 could u do one of baby Groot?
My master is very powerful indeed
People love Tom Riddle's good look but i am just in love with voldy 😢
same :)
You weird as hell
I'm love with both of his look :)
I love both. Tom Riddle is charmingly handsome and Voldemort is somehow alluring
I'm impressed by his intellect and power to be honest, I don't care about his appearance. That's why i love Voldemort more than his younger self. His older self is let's say the final product of who he turned out as.
Voldemort rlly care abt Harry’s education. Waited all school to strike
I love Voldemort says Crucio his voice is great.
how great would it be if harry after reviving in hagrids arms and springing out while voldemort had that dumbfounded look on his face harry shrugged and was like "alive again! you're seriously bad at this!!" * magic bolt! *
That’s really cringe
@@Nooop655 it actually sounds like a very Harry thing to do
Aah thank youu
Unpopular opinion: Voldemort was one of the most underrated characters in the whole series. He was the evilest person, yet he was scarily polite, and NEVER gave up. If that isn't Underrated with a capital U, then idk what is.
The word underrated is so overused it doesn't even mean anything anymore.
The main antagonist of the series underrated by who, how?
Voldemort is never underrated, if anything it's been some of the more minor that's underrated.
Even his name incites fear... not exactly underrated. He was set up to be the big bad from the get go.
Do you know what underrated means? The “politeness” means nothing pertaining to rating… like underrated would refer to a musician who doesn’t get credit for how good they are.
Or, in movies, for an antagonist, underrated may mean how they aren’t tending to be as powerful as they are….
Cmon man….
If anything I'd say he's heavily Overrated.
Most powerful wizard of our age, the dark lord!
Lost to a defenseless baby and then again to the same said baby, multiple times might I add, before he had even graduated school. Not exactly terrifying is he.
Glorious.
I wonder if Dumbledore is trying to read Voldemort mind when he asked if he knew anything about who did the killing and Voldemort blocking it with occulumency..I didn't read the books so sorry if it's mentioned there. Both were skilled at both techniques. I wouldn't be surprised if Voldemort was already better than most at a young age.
Ah yes the absolute GOAT #Slytherin4life
I wish Voldemort and deatheaters had more screen time and yeah there is a lot of plot holes in this series that allows an ordinary teen wizard defeats lord Voldemort who is supposed to be so powerful that even no one dares to say his name. In the entire series we never really witness a display of power from the famous deatheaters too and most of the time their actions are sloppy . I mean they should be more capable. they are fighting a society of wizards
The book really described the power of Death Eaters. Tbh , not all were super powerful, except Bellatrix, Rudolphus , Dolohov , Barty . Fenrir was the scariest because he was a paedophile and Man Eater . Voldemort was powerful enough to make up for it , yet he loses to a teenager with Expelliarmus because.. ✨Destiny✨.
@@subratanandy2142We know exactly why Voldemort lost.

15:28 The double name sounds kinda weird but you cant deny, it was very respectful to call Snape, Severus.
I love the first 3 films, but goblet of fire is where it really gets going. It turns dark af
17:01 that laugh tho
He only got 20 mins of screen time in the whole franchise.
Ralf Fiennes seemed like such a perfect casting choice, so why is this performance more goofy than intimidating?
I get that, but I think it’s perfect. His weird noises seem funny, but they really are just the ramblings of an absolute psychopath. Voldemort was always an awkward psychopath, (Draco hug) and he got his new serpentine and gaunt body and wasn’t exactly comfortable in it yet. He’s like emperor palpatine, he has some goofy moments with his noises but it’s just to show how deranged and inhuman he is at this point.
Voldemort is hot

Thing i like about the original actor for Riddle is the fact that he's not remarkable in stature or manner, just a prefect type with a god complex, which could pop up in any boys school in the UK.. That's how commonplace evil can be.
8:24 does anyone else hear a "nyew" sound that little kids do?
yes
The first Voldemort face scared the daylights out me when I was younger
Can you pleeeease make a ruby roundhouse from Jumanji 1 and 2 scene pack?!

Ralph Fiennes makes a perfect villain actor, but I have to say.....his portrayal of Amon Goethe in Schindler's List was more chilling than his Lord Voldemort.
