Creo que si Fantano va aseguir reseñando álbumes en español debería pulirse y ponerse a escuchar más música latina. Llamó a un merengue "explosive latin jazz" y en la reseña de Motomami se refirió al bolero como una salsa.
Se aprecia su esfuerzo por intentar llegar a su público hispanohablante, pero tiene muchas carencias a la hora de analizar música latina fuera del reggaeton o trap, lo que hace que su entendimiento del álbum sea menor y por consecuencia peor calificación

I’ve never really listened to Bad Bunny until recent, like right when this album came out. I thought I’d give it a chance and it was pretty good. Bad Bunny never really interested me but I heard a song from this album that caught my ear and listened to more of the album. Honestly one of my favorites so far this year

A strong 6 for a reggaeton project is honestly huge. I'd give it an 8, although it's a 20+ track album it doesn't feel like it, I think he does a great job at providing the listener with enough variety to carry their attention throughout the entire thing.
Also I wish you would've talked about Andrea and how depressing it is for a reggaeton record. My girl friend says she always skips it, since it's honestly too relatable for her.

Personally this is my favorite Bad Bunny album, maybe because I can relate to the lyrics of many tracks like Enséñame a Bailar, or Ojitos Lindos, maybe even Tarot. I do think Bad Bunny could’ve dropped a more concentrated project if he filtered the songs correctly, especially since tracks like dos mil 16 and aguacero don’t feel like they are part of the theme that drives this whole project. Also I love Otro Atardecer with The Marias, it is actually my favorite song out of the whole album, again mainly because of the lyrics and how this album dropped when I was going through a heartbreak and I was falling in love again with someone else, so I give this project an 8, obviously YHLQMDLG is a superior project, but I do love this summer album.

i'm not a bad bunny fan but some songs of this record made me appreciate him. i do think this record could have had 12 songs instead of 23 and it would have been fine. a lot of the songs are more of the same, but i guess it works for him and his fanbase ? i'm surprised you didn't mention Andrea, for me it's the best song, never heard a man singing with such empathy about what it's like to be a latin woman, not to mention Buscabulla's collaboration on this one.

Creo que estoy de acuerdo con fantano en varios puntos... Lo que me disgusta del álbum son algunas canciones que se sienten muy genéricamente de relleno, también por momentos sentí que era muy empalagoso escuchar muchas canciones de amor y desamor tan seguidas, obviamente esto es una cuestión personal mía.
Creo que estoy de acuerdo con fantano en que merece un 6, no es el peor álbum, pero tampoco supera a YHLQMDLG en cuanto a calidad... Y honestamente me sorprendió el hecho de que prácticamente más de la mitad del álbum se encuentra en el Top 50 global de Spotify, es algo bastante genial.
Creo que este es simplemente un álbum que cumple con el objetivo de mostrarnos un Bad Bunny más abierto hablando de su vida amorosa, siendo muy introspectivo aveces... Dándonos de igual manera canciones para perrear en el verano, mientras lloramos con la letra de las mismas.

This album for me is a 5, lots of bangers and fun but... 80 minutes of bad bunny is a bit difficult to sit thru. Colorful production for sure, but why so many songs?? Why not making a double album instead so its easier to go thru the songs?

Honestly, here in latin America, this is music to dance and party there is no need to get into the lyrics, we just hear hints of sex, relantionships, drugs, bragging, the beach, etc. and all the songs refer and are indicative to having vacations on a latin Beach, maybe dreaming of having the best time with your lover but not being 100% succesful as we know Latin America is not perfect, that is where everybody can relate. This album has alot of enjoyable songs on their own way in a more party friendly manner. Just look at the names of the songs, most of them refer to stuff we encounter at a beach or a resort, also the album Cover shows that. It also uses alot of references to old school reaggeton in a way(Playero Album Covers look the same too). Not everyhting has to be serious, and he puts good "seasoning" to the popular songs on the album. Though sometimes one can get exhausted of bad bunny doing the same tone of voice and melodies. I think this album hits different to latinos, as we have more receptors and we get the references. We get it reggaeton is reppetitive, but it is made for dancing and party, than to drown into sentimental lyrics.
The lyrics make this album, and even translated it doesn’t hit the same at all, the slang and the feel is so important…
It’s not even the slang that’s the issue. It’s simply the translation. It’s impossible to get the same effect in translation.

I want him to keep rating Spanish albums because its pretty cool to see a broad range of projects but I don't think he's suited to really appreciate it because of the culture difference that Spanish brings. This album was definitely higher than a 6

Honestly, I listen to bad bunny to better my Spanish. My father speaks it but I have had trouble learning it and he sees learning it as a way to be able to speak to communicate with others in my field of urban planning. That being said I think this album was not bad, not great either. There were a couple non starters for me but I liked the overall versatility of the track listing.
The song “Titi me pregunto” is not reggaetón! It’s a genre from my country Dominican Republic called dembow🇩🇴
I don’t necessarily like Bad Bunny’s stuff but as a person he seems pretty interesting. Plenty of different styles and also him getting involved in other types of media has really piqued my interest

Titi me pregunto isnt reggeaton. Its dominican dembow fused with hip hop. The LP is a love letter to the carribean and its sounds. Its mean to be listened to in front of a beach. IMO Its a solid 8, i wish it was a little more lyrical but that would take away from the vibe

I love the indie pop & trap/ old school reggaeton vibes - the fusion of all that plus the EDM & merengue really did it for me - also Aguacero might be a snooze but at the Orlando show he performed it & it was a beautiful break from all the hard hit after hit after hit it just worked live w/ the visuals of the rain LOVED IT even more Live -- 10/10

I’m not going to lie I hate how much I like this album. I don’t feel like it’s great, but it’s my go to album this summer. Especially after watching his interview with Ebro and hearing him explain what the album is about. For me it’s a 8.5 and again I hate that I feel this way, but some how he has me listening to the whole album every day.

I loved this album, the feature with tony dize was my fav.
Late to this but I'd honestly give it an 8 and maybe a 9 if I add my Puertorican bias. Talking about the bias well a lot of the lyrics do connect with me. The featured artists give me a big sense of pride since Bad Bunny is essentially letting people know they exists, they are here and you should give them a listen. My sister is a huge Marias fan and she went feral when she heard them. El Apagón on top of just being a bop just speaks a lot to me and many others.
Also lemme just say that the concert he played was fire. I was only able to watch the first function or whatever since it's the one that was played in Puertorican local channels and even streamed in big plazas. It was filled with references to the history of reggaton, the featured artists sometimes even performed some of their own songs, etc. And other functions in Puerto Rico and in the tour he did the same. I dunno if there are recordings of that first function but it was great.
