Honestly I like him but I don’t disagree with you, music is subjective and he’s created an audience of teenagers that will experience burnout with music because they’re listening to what he thinks is good. They won’t find their own style or anything like that so they won’t hear what makes music music. Same reason I don’t like those Genius videos, when you explain the meaning of your own art the audience has nothing to interpret for themselves.
