This is what cooking is all about. Taking an Italian dish of spaghetti and putting your own twist on it. In this case, it's a German influence. It was very well prepared and a happy family were the recipients. Well done.

I lost my momma in 1997. Not a day goes by that I don't miss her as well. It will ease as time goes by, but a corner of your heart will always carry her loss with you. It hurts, but reminds you of how much she loved you. ❤

aside the delicious food, I would watch this for the asmr, so crunchy and satisfying with the sharp knife , the gentle sizzle of the food in the pan, the spaghetti noodles, the gentle bubbling of the boiling water... the music is even a perfect level... p.s. i think i recognize your chirping cockatiel in the background ?

I personally like our measurements, of course, I’m older. I wish they would list cups, tablespoons etc along side of metric
But they used cups several times throughout. The only time i saw grams used was at the beginning when it really didn't matter
I skip metrics and guess how much
