- got invited to film Chris Poland's band at the baked potato last year while david eagle was still around, this was one of his last performances before he passed away, amazing band, and amazing sounds. I hesitated to put this up because chris wanted to see the footage first but I wasn't able to get this footage to him so I decided to upload for the fans to finally see what we filmed that night
Thank you for posting this, now our boy can see one of his dad's last performances. Made me cry.
im glad i was able to help you and your family with something, im sorry it took so long to post but i was trying to respect chris' wishes but was never able to re communicate with him about getting him this footage, and wanted to post it in dedication and respect to OHM and there fallen warriors. david was such a nice funny guy, i really enjoyed his company when i was around him. i have a couple other videos of some of his 2014 namm performance i might post soon, but its hard because i live in the mountains with not much internet.
I appreciate it. I'll let Chris know that this footage is amazing and that I'm happy you posted it. Yes, David had a great sense of humor. Keep me posted if you'll upload more videos. I think the ones from NAMM that I saw were from 2013. Thanks again for keeping his memory alive :-)

I've seen Chris in Megadeth, Damn The Machine and Ohm - he's so talented and covers so much turf, he can play whatever he wants to. RIP David Eagle. A perfect fit for the jazz this band lays down. You are missed!

So sad to hear of David's passing, I was at this show and spoke with him for a bit afterward, bought a cd they put together and said goodnight one last time....

Once again David was just incredible! I just love the way he used all his toys. He did not neglect any of them and he was so happy . The ostinatos between them all was incredible. He is probably my new favorite drummer. Are there any other bands that he played with that recorded? Man, David was so technical but grooving. An unsung master. So sad he did not get the world renown I believe he deserved. Of course it would not be the same with those two other guys around him. To think ,I got here on a trail from Nick Menza’s biography that sadly enough I found in a dollar store. You never know what you will find when you are a seeker of knowledge of your craft.

It's not a watermelon ;-) David added all kids of crazy things that he created to his kit! He was a unique and talented man.
lol if youre talking about the thing to the right of his kit (his left) thats not a watermelon,. its a fan. probably got really hot drumming like that :)

Sadly yes. David passed in Aug 2015 and Nick in May 2016 :-(
