I find it funny that in interviews with Chris all the interviewers want to talk about is Megadeth. Chris did his time with them, but is SO much more than that. Deep respect!
Dude.............................Mr. Poland has a complete, different understanding and execution of the guitar.
He can't bend index finger, he does his thing through that, none of us can. Wish I could see him play.
Chris is devoted as well as talented. Guitar is etched in to his body, not sure he takes it off much, he's a perfectionist, and he has suffered his demons so here it is, for all, his gift to us. Thank you.
Chris in his natural habitat. Stellar tone, wise choice of FX and of course an incredible knowledge of the fretboard. Otherworldly
This is just awesome. Such talented musicians and the relaxed feel of the gig just adds to how cool it is. Thank you for recording and sharing.
The Holdsworth influence is obvious. 👍
Chris will have his own signature "MEGA" sustain block coming out early 2024. Chris has been using Stone Tone sustain blocks since 2014.
you know you have hit the big league when you perform at baked potato
Seeing them next Thursday 4-12-2024 a killer night it will be
For God´s sake Chris is amazing!! He´s cleary been practicing a lot since Megadeth
Look up The New Yorkers, the band he and Gar were in before Megadeth. He’s ALWAYS been this good.
I was just looking up Chris Poland's music for the first time and found this, wow! Thank you
or should I say OHM my god?
Every Musician in this group is phenomenal! Poland, Pag and Cruz.
Entire band is next level, bass player is right there behind Chris.
Such a true musician. Not just a guitar player but an artist connected to his instrument and speaking through it. Thank you Chris for the music and inspiration to continue to build guitars in the hopes they reach people such a you and those you inspire. JG :)😼
Chris... I am blown away. You did it BEFORE Marty, I will never forget that. I am also in the fellowship, and I have a re- re- newed respect for you, my friend. Thank you for being alive and making music- not DEAD with a bedazzled tombstone. You made the right choice.
Heil from Detroit.
The drummer has great fills and an ear.
A big thanks for uploadin and sharin this dream trio concert with us.
Each one of them is a master of his craft.
Wow, what a ride. 😊🎉❤
Great stuff, love Chris's guitar work, he was awesome on The System Failed as well.
Never thought a song that was literally called "Love Song" would ever be such a tasteful piece or some kind of joke in itself, bit Chris Poland makes it sound awesome. Then again, they also make "Water Sprinkler" cool as hell too.
Excellent as always from OHM , Chris is a guitar great, and Pag just cooks that bass.
I’m here because of Daniel Delay’s interview show on the Knotfest Twitch channel called “Defender of the Riff” soo awesome they played my favorite song “Peanut Buddha”
Sounds great!! Go Carlitos! it's like Weather Report and Eric Johnson meets Poland, Pag and Cruz, keep up the amazing work. Your primo Jorge.
Carlos is awesome. I’d be kind of afraid to play drums for Ohm.
This was good as soon as it started
Wondering how many people know that this is also the band that Nick Menza was playing in when he died, and it was at THIS venue.
Quite a few
Insane stuff!
Holy shit!!!!!!
His guitar chops sound like a god damn machine gun xDD
You can hear every bullet
Thank you! Well done! Is there a pt 2?
Jazzfusion Fan yes, should be the next video that's 1:03 long
He's got a great sounding rig. Nice delay too, wonder what pedal he uses.
Thanks so much for posting this!
This has Adrian Belew vibes. I hope that's a compliment
Absolutely epic
Chris has such a tasteful approach to playing. It's not him just ripping for three minutes. I really dig it.
Listen to Ohm's first album. It's insanely good. Second one too.
Chris's best solos are in those two imo
I like how nobody reads the sign about no recording, video or photos that’s right behind the band
No one records unless you're given permission which I was given permission from the owner because this gig was planned out not a random thing..
Anyone looking for 'The 9th One?'
48:00 you're very welcome.
As good as Jeff Beck
Jeff Beck is Chris Poland's number one influence 👊🏻
25:40 FUCKIN BRUTAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does anybody know the name of the tune at 17:52?
Tattoo - 0:00
Dd 124 - 4:24
Pan´s Plan - 8:33
System of a Clown - 13:20
It sucks that Chris Poland can't gather more than a bar for an audience. I guess the music industry is tough, even for such a talented virtuoso.
It's not JUST a bar.
then what is it? Same thing happened with Pantera in the 2000's. Phil left and then they stopped having concerts on big stadiums and instead they could only have them in local bars and stuff.@@kaleendavis8427
@@kaleendavis8427 so it's like the holy mecca for jazz fans? Sorry. I didn't really know anything about it. I just searched for more Chris Poland on youtube.
Name of the tune at 48:00??
Maybe you've already figured this out... It's called The 9th one, here you have it : czcams.com/video/h-cDQAP8x1U/video.html Will be on the album that is due this year I think. We'll see.
Chris is still better the. Dave hahahahah😢
