    Harbor Freight Air Compressor
    McGraw 3 Gallon Air Compressor
    Claims that it is 84 dBA but I found it to be around the low 90s so yes kinda loud.
    Good air compressor for the price for filling up tires and maybe running a Brad nailer
    Would not recommend for an impact or big projects. The tank cuts on shortly after starting to use it.
    Paid $49.99 with a super coupon and they were offering a free tool with the deal so I went with the 1/2 torque wrench.
    My last air compressor for harbor freight lasted 10 years. Hopefully this one will do the same.

    FYI, Harbor Freight has this air compressor on sale this weekend for $44.99. That is the lowest I have ever seen it drop to. Aug 18-20, 2023.

    First video I’ve seen where you actually performed the compressor break in listed in user guide. All other videos skip it or as I saw in one the guy tossed the user guide all together. I always try to read and follow directions no matter what my skill level is. Mistakes happen when you don’t properly prepare. Thanks for this very helpful demonstration!

    Great video. Been wondering about these. It's identical looking to a Walmart compressor i bought probably 10 years ago which is just now petering out. Takes probably 8 minutes for it to reach 110 psi. May go to harbor freight tomorrow for one of these.

    I just got one of these, and I'll likely only be using it to fill up tires. It worked fine to fill up rear van tires which go to 71psi. I also got the "Merlin Digital Tire Inflator" which has a digital readout of the pressure going in and/or the tire pressure.

    • @zachattackcustoms
      @zachattackcustoms  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Nice, I actually was thinking about getting that tire gauge as well. How do you like it?

    • @commonlawamerica4540
      @commonlawamerica4540 Před 10 měsíci +1

      @@zachattackcustoms It works well! When you're putting air into the tire, it shows the pressure of the input stream. Then if you let go of the lever and stop inputting air but leave the gauge attached to the tire valve, it shows the tire pressure, to one decimal place, on an illuminated green dial. Eg, 45.3 PSI.
      The only drawback would be that it needs batteries to operate (two AAA batteries) so it could happen that one day you go to use it and the batteries are dead and you have no spare batteries of that type. Other than that, I think it's better than the analog gauges because it shows the tire pressure more precisely to one decimal place.

    I was looking at this one, and I am only going to use it occassionally. But I'm focused on the 'FORTRESS 6 gallon, 175 PSI High Performance Hand Carry Jobsite Air Compressor' now. It's not much more, $160 today. I don't want to overbuy because this is mostly for tires and maybe an impact used once or twice, but I don't want to squander money either on a $60 deal.

    Worthless noisy compressors reviews should be stacked by two second long sound levels only.
    We did like the quiet one, in the other review, where why not have two of them, and a remote carry tank filled like I always have with.
    Once one has a Quincy twin, since mid seventies, everything is judged by the master of compressors.
