Nice video, unfortunately in my area the Honda cr125 bikes coust at least $ 2000 if it is a bike from like 1999, and the 06 cr125 is worth $2600 in my area..

In Seattle cr125s are $2500+ year doesn’t matter, yz125 $2500+ for late models $3k+ for 05 and up regardless of condition. Hard to find good deals in my area, the bikes that are lower price sell in hours. Klx110s are damn near full price for used ones on CL lookin beat to shit.. it’s ruff out here ur not alone hahah
People must be hard up where he lives. Around here in NC, people want new prices for junk bikes
These prices sound way off to me, in MD bikes are not cheap unless they are scrap

I live in Saskatchewan, Canada yesterday but a prestine condition no issues, 2009 crf 450 r with blue rims (aftermarket not painted) for 3000 cad. I think I made out since most of them are listed for 4-5 grand. Was this a steal ?
And also were I live you won’t find many 125 over 3000 unless there super new.
I think I got a pretty good deal. I got a 2004 Honda CR85R with 8hr on the top end, runs and drives, only problem is there’s a tiny exhaust leak from the expansion chamber (fixed with trv😂) for $1100, and it got appraised for $1600 and I’m in Colorado

I bought a 1997 rm 250 for 300, it was locked up but in nice condition who ever had it ran straight gas so me and my brother took the engine apart and found that the piston dropped a skirt we lucked out and the cylinder was unharmed and the crank was fine but it need crank bearings 140 later we bought parts and rebuilt it so we are 440 into a at least 1000 dollar bike

Aven Holland just maintenance and a sticker kit has always been best ! At least in my area they don’t pay the difference.
Honda's seem to be the most expensive. Yamaha's seem to be pretty popular.

It's kinda of a bad idea to pile up that much bikes I used to do that then i realized it's better to have atleast 3 then when you sell one, buy another one.
John why is it bad? Serious question. Anything with a motor is basically money in the bank. Always can post for a low price and a quick sale if you need cash
Your qa50 video made me subscribe. Watch out for the second gear slip on those in the future, very common but also an easy fix. I do pretty well on the 3 wheelers too. Something you should look into imo. Great channel though!

2vintage I do well on parting out quads on ebay. Mostly warriors or any quad that was in assembly for more than a few years. The warriors were made for 17 years so everbody and their brother needs parts.

Hey man I really like the vids your doing a really good job!...but I have to disagree with you on the YZs 125 there really good to flip and there worth more then the CR 125 and YZs have one more gear then CRs and a full rebuild on a 2 stroke is about 350$ and top end is only about 100$ ... but your doing a really good job keep up the good work!

all two strokes seem pretty close in comparison when selling. Yamaha has the slight advantage since they continue to make it to this day. ktms move a bit faster for me if you can afford to invest in them. people definitely have the money to buy KTMs not everyone flips motorcycles for a living like us the $ is definitely out there
100$ for a top end? with a plastic piston? and as for a 350$ rebuild i assume thats top and bottom? a wrench rabbit kit is 400$ alone and thats the bottom standard of decent parts lmao if you went for a Vertex kit or a Wossoner one you'd soon find yourself set back 500$-600$ and then if you need the head and cylinder redone you need a professional todo it unless you want it to run like shit so thats only another 100$-150$ and all the delivery and traveling costs I'm also not trying to be mean but when you do a rebuild you might as well use decent parts otherwise it's just going to pop again

Leave it blank I think you can only sell around 6 bikes per year without a dealer ship license.

This is my question. How do you find the bikes for cheap I live near Fond du Lac and I'm on Craigslist all day, everyday and I can't find any of the bikes you buy, any tips, or your secrets?

Look for something that needs work that you are able to do, add value to the things, don't just use wealth to make wealth, don't use financial capital to suck value out of the dirtbikes, use mechanical capital to make them worth more. There's fucking kids all over the area that probably would be riding those bikes if they weren't in ur dad's garage

Do you never have a problem with ur ads getting took down over and over? I dont think a persons flagging them i think craigslist is doing it because i have more than 1 ad for dirtbikes posted If i have 1 dirtbike posted its fine but 2 gets my ads took down always both of them

thats you're issue try looking outside you're area. traveling is also a major part of buying and selling (flipping) i charge £200 for delivery on top of the agreed cost of the bike if its within 100 miles
Idk what your talking about with the Yamahas, late 90s yz125s go for 2500 easy here in bc, there almost always more then double any of the other brands of 125s besides modern ktms

yep, after a nice detail cleaning, shining up some aluminum, some rust removal where needed, and finally a plastic restore using a razor blade/heat gun and you've instantly doubled a bikes value for 0$ spent.

Bruh yz125s are one of the most desirable yamaha 2 stroke dirtbike its a full size bike that can with the right rider beat a crf450r in a race or around the track
Here in Northern New Jersey you can’t get a clapped bike for less than $300. Absolutely ridiculous
In SJ you can't get a 50cc for less than $850
Keep this in mind , CR 125s and 250s also Kawasaki 125 and 250s and Suzuki 2 strokes are NOT BEING PRODUCED ANYMORE so you can't just go buy a new one and if you have a nice 2 stroke to sell YOU SET THE PRICE not what the book says I DONT GIVE A CRAP what they are SUPPOSED to be worth especially if it's mint !!!! The older bikes are better all day long especially if you have a RM , CR or KX 500 you can set you price on the 500s it may take a while to sell but you gotta be patient when selling specialty bikes !! Like I said they don't produce those bad ass bikes anymore so don't sell yourself short you have the product you control the price don't let people talk you down on something that is that rare!! I know where a BRAND NEW 2001 CR500 is never had gas in the tank and guy wants 17.000 $ for it and he will sell it eventually to the right person

I buy them for 600-1000 depending on if they deliver them or not the year condition and if it has the electric start. Maybe its different where you live but here in Georgia ttr125 is easiest thing to flip
