How accurate is the compression test? I think tusk atv/bikes youtube channel did a ktm 300 sx top end rebuild (if I remember correctly) and it had nearly perfect compression even tho the piston rings were quite worn
leakdown test are your best bet. bikes can build compression with worn components. a leakdown can show you where your weakness lie.. valves, crankcase seals etc...
this shit is near impossible in NY
in the philippines too where fucking parts cost is just up there
No it’s not New York has a lot of great deals I go there often for my bikes
@@supercooldude824 where in ny? tell me your secrets lol

How is it going right now I'm the market? Is it still viable?
Offer up is great and plus what if you just created your account?? Ofc I Going to be fresh
Are you a dealer in your state or do you not worry about that?
Nice vid
Thank you levi!
how about 2000 kx125 ?
Very interesting 😉
Glad you enjoyed! Good luck
This wont work in the tristate area. Wont find anything for under $1,000 and that would be a 23 year old basket case
Buy the basket cases. I get bikes apart in crates and boxes blown up for around 4-700, rebuild them and sell for 3k+
@@MotoBuilds I should try that
What’s the oldest bike you could flip comfortably?
I’d say the oldest to go is a 1990 any thing after that you will have hard time geting parts
I bought a 1986 kx80 lol
Still doing it?
Unfortunately not, the market is messed up. People wanting $2000 for a basket case, in my area at least
i disagree if somone is new to offer up there not sketch
no. not always but a general rule is to be cautious of them
Btw.. get it as cheap as possible! If the seller can't show you receipts or photos of rebuilds.... Then its not
