Seriously, this guy is being hyped so much that when he finally appears it will be like when Madara finally appeared in person in Naruto
And it turns out he just a weak guy in facade like king in one punch man, but I doubt it tho cuz other harbinger see personaly his combat prowess

Madara fought alone against the strongest characters in the anime. If they make a character as cool as him, I would definitely buy him.

I'm excited to not only meet the captain but also varka, a man who's not afraid of the captain but rather wants to duel him, described as the titan of the knights of favonius, even childe wants to fight varka, eula couldn't even get him to stop holding back in their duels. I'm really hoping we get to see him soon. Along with the captain.
I can’t wait to meet Capitano! He seems like he’s going to be another harbinger like Arlecchino, who isn’t necessarily against the traveler and doesn’t see a reason to fight them until he has to. Maybe he doesn’t help the Traveler like Arlecchino does in some instances but he at least thinks they have the same goal and/or he doesn’t see them as a threat to his goal

Capitano as a playable character would definitely have no element, and uses physical as the main damage, given the lore mention that he has incredible brute strength.

Capitano being the Bloodstained Knight works from another thematic perspective, too. Ages ago Vennessa and her people fled the constant war of Natlan to Mondstadt, where they were enslaved by the Tyrannical noble government. Vennessa would later co-lead the rebellion that overthrew the nobility and established the modern freedom-loving state of Mondstadt, becoming deified as the West Wind Favonius and founding the Knights of Favonius to continue those ideals. Il Capitano, as the Bloodstained Knight and thus a Knight of Favonius, would thus, bearing the legacy of Vennessa, return to Natlan and end the ceaseless war that forced her and her people to flee in the first place.

I wonder how the big climax will happen in Naltan. I think the idea that people have of Capitano killing the Pyro archon is insane, mostly because she would f*cking explode and melt the entire reigon which would kill everything..

Waiting for a small Natlan teaser in the livestream tomorrow. Natlan is getting close.
The EN downplays him by a lot, in the cn he’s called the absolute apex/pinnacle of strength and power, leaks also stated he’s the strongest single individual in tevyat. In the CN nahida states demon gods which means archons, meaning capitano will more than likely be even a harder enemy than raiden, I think he will just challenge the pyro archon for the gnosis directly. If he is the blood stained knight, he could had gained immense power through the amount beings he slaughtered, and the theorized abyssal power.

If he has abyssal power, then that could explain the dark blue eyes. Dain’s abyssal power is also dark blue.
Dark blue eyes are the signeture colour of the pure blooded kandri'ah people it has nothing to do with sbysel power.
Seeing how the aspects of honor and chivalry are being accentuated with him, I predict that perhaps Capitano will die helping to save Natlan from some great threat after losing to the Pyro Archon in combat.

I honestly think that Capitano as a playable character would be the most OP physical dps in the game. He could be geo or cryo. Most Cryo 5 stars have this chill, elegant yet powerful aura around them while the Geo ones has this sense of nobility and unwavering.
It'll be interesting to finally meet Capitano, although he seems like a good person if we just go by everyone's general opinion, however Wanderer made an interesting point about his righteousness possibly being a problem. Plus if he does end up being the Bloodstained Knight then maybe getting on his bad side is easier than we think, maybe there will be a big lore drop and the two end up have conflicting opinions which causes the Captain to view Traveler as an enemy.
Usually Traveler gets help anyway so maybe the archon or sovereign jumps in to defend them if Capitano does end up being our weekly boss, or maybe he totally obliterates the Traveler and no one helps 🤣. That would be an interesting approach, Traveler never gets the gnosis but they usually always win somehow.
Though we don't know anything about his kit, i do hope he'll be dual wielding claymores akin to Dark Souls 3 ringed knight enemy thats found outside of the Cathedral in the ringed city dlc.

My biggest doubt about natlan rn is, what will happen if the fatui get the pyro gnosis at the end of the archon quest? I mean, what are we going to do in the downtime between 5.2-5-3 and 6.0 when sneznahya comes? The fatui would already have all the gnosis and i cant imagine us doing silly lil events on those in between patches while the fatui already have what they need

I have a theory I've cooked on for a long while and I think it truly has merit. We can learn more about the harbingers by how they are the exact OPPOSITE of their commedia del'larte character tropes. For example: Arlecchino is colorful and goofy. Pierrot is a lowly servant clown. Targaglia is self-conscious and stutters a lot. Pantalone is old and loves money. Dottore is unfocused and hedonistic, etc. See how their genshin counterparts are the EXACT OPPOSITE?
Capitano's OG character is an introverted braggart who is secretly a coward, and from what we've learned, Genshin's Capitano is the exact opposite-- extroverted, friendly, and one who doesn't make a show out of his immense power.
OG Columbina was very down-to-earth and intellectual compared to the other commedia characters... from what we've seen in Genshin, she has her head in the clouds and seems a little flakey.
I truly think my theory (while not airtight) will be a good reference point for what it will be like to meet the other harbingers.

What if Capitano is Phanes’s son? He is said to be a human (the strongest one, at that). And Phanes created humans in his image. It would make sense if Capitano was the first human created and thus the closest to Phanes in terms of power and biology.
He would then team up with the Fatui to defeat Celestia who ousted Phanes from his throne as supreme god of all Teyvat.
Imagine if Capitano was Genshin Jesus lmao. His speculated constellation (the three nails) is also said to be a biblical symbol of the son of God (primeoridal one)
As The Primeordial Prince, he may share Phanes’ ability to subjugate the light realm and the abyss to his will, thereby putting him in a position to teach the traveler how to do the same

When they talk about his strength I believe they talk about physical damage. He’ll have a element but he’s gonna be a physical damage toon.
That’ll mean Physical is going to be getting the balance players have been asking for.
If Capitano is the Bloodstained Knight it would be possible and very in character for him not to use elemental powers much at all Hence
the Bloodstained Chivalry Artifact Set, Also the Bloodstained Greatsword does increased damage to enemies affected by Pyro & Electro so perfect to fight the Pyro Archon. But that could also mean He uses Pyro or Electro Vision as a secondary power besides his primary brute strength. My guess would be Pyro because I imagine Coloumbina is a Electro user.
So Basically he would be a Pyro Eula.
Pure Physical Dmg + Pyro.
Equipped with a Greatsword that gives 12% damage increase to enemies affected by Pryo or Electro meaning in his case 12% DMG increase against the Pyro & Electro Archons.
Assuming his chivalrous nature doesn’t have a problem fighting girls.
Capitano kind of reminds me of El Tiburon from Assassins Creed: Black Flag.
Correct me if I'm wrong here but the image Capitano is shown in, the thing on his chest looks kinda looks like Zhongli's or Liyuen design on their clothing, the double diamond 8 or infinity looking thing... just a little detail... you can even see it on Zhongli's sleeve, the cuff part and his belt. Tbh this is the only thing I've got to say he may be a Liyuen character or has connection with Zhongli...

I generally agree with your points other than the one about capitano being the first character to use the abyss element (if he even does), and him releasing in snezhnaya
dain will probably be the first (if not the abyss sibling or something), mainly to get players more used to the whole schtick (maybe alongside some light element characters, like full power traveler and some character from celestia maybe), then with the abyss sibling if they don't come first, then (maybe?) skirk, then a toss up between pierro and capitano imo, and if capitano is abyss, then he'd likely release in khaenri'ah alongside the others I mentioned
what I do hope happens tho, is that both him and columbina release in natlan (it'll fuck up my primo wallet, but idrc). hoyo could just make columbina the weekly of the archon quest, and capitano the weekly of maybe the pyro archon's second sq (more likely) or the weekly of his own (unlikely unless the pyro archon does some crazy shit like focalors did), or maybe hoyo decides to break the patterns we established, have 3 weeklies including columbina and capitano
as for element, I have no idea lol

Capitano is a dragon. His masked is designed as a dragon's face (he is even similar to Lord Of The Rings Nazgul king which rides a dragon). It also makes sense to send a dragon harbinger to the nation of dragons. Also - the Fatui have a member of each of the races of Teyvat and a harbinger of each mation so it makes sense they'd have a dragon one.
That would've been cool.
I love the knight theory but something just dosent sit right with me. Capitanos character seems so calm and collected and dosent instantly resort to violence, but the bloodstained knight is portrayed as going bat sht insane about justice, even killing that girl in sumeru💀.But anyway, i hope thye keep his mask on through out the story cause it just looks so cool and cold, plus they can just have his glowing blue eyes emit blue from his mask.( Future Capitano main)🔥

Maybe he intentinally keeps a magical limiter on himself or finds a way to hold himself back like Godfrey from Elden Ring. That way, he can control his immense power and not kill everything around him while also keeping his bloodlust in check. I think a portion of his possible boss fight, unlike other Harbingers, will be him remove those restraints and unleash his savagery and full power.

It has been my theory for a while that Varka is Capitano. It seems pretty obvious to me. You know, he lives a double life. That's why he is always away from Mondstadt. And saying that he met Capitano in Natlan to avoid suspicion, when he is just him... They are literally in the same place, and he tries to brush it off like that. I wouldn't be surprised if he even had a fake double or a clone, similar to Dottore, since he is above him in rank. That would also explain why he hides his face.

Will you be doing a video about the natlan teaser or maybe after the 4.8 livestream? I feel like there's more in it that meets the eye. For example the 6 symbols at the start representing 6 saurians and possibly the 6 pyro reactions (burning and burgeon would count as one), e.g. the geo saurian that has a nose drill representing crystallize.

Hey Silicon this comment is about the 4.7 trailer. Could it be that the traveler's twin was used to create the loom of fate because in one of the scenes we see the twin standing behind Dain. There her sword is still 'normal' and in we will be reunited her sword is infused with abyssal power. So could it be that in the time between these two events a part of her was used to create the loom so she got connected to teyvat and irminsul and got infused with the abyssal power she uses today?
I think she was connected to Teyvat all the way back in Khaenri'ah, but I'm interested to see what impacts the Loom of Fate will have.

This a theory I've had about him for around 2 years now. My theory is basically based on his constellation and the way people praise him based on his honor, I believe he could be Genshin's version of Jesus Christ. The nails could reference the nails used to crucify Christ, Jesus was said to be the perfect Human man by his disciples and followers, even being able to resurrect 3 days after his death. This makes me believe that if he's from Natlan the nation of War and Resurrection that he gets stronger every time he's resurrected from being killed in battle. Which makes me think if he has a Vision it would be Hydro which is also the perfect parallel against the Archon of Pyro.

I still believe Capitano will be a "One Punch Man" type figure, where his gimmick is that he's /supposed/ to win every fight, and that that's his "fate". WHICH IS WHY he's going to the nation of war, to challenge the Pyro Archon, where he's /FATED/ to win, BUT, for the mere price of a gnosis, who would give up the opportunity to strike a deal with the Fatui to WIN over the One Punch Man??? THE PYRO ARCHON MURATA WOULD NOT! She will selfishly exchange the Gnosis for the fixed win against The Strongest Fatui Harbinger, where Capitano throws the competition, THEREFORE PROVING THAT ONE CAN DEFY THEIR OWN FATE as someone who should win every single fight by a milestone, Yet Just Was Defeated.
IF we get a playable Capitano, it will be the defeated version, and he will either be Electro, on account of him dipping into the Abyss trying to defy fate and reality as normies know it and that's Electro's whole schtick is rebellion, or he will be Anemo, which usually indicates a "defeated", dead-and-risen, should've-been-dead, or otherwise spiritually and philosophically transformed person.
