I swear if you’re right about some tribes not liking dragons because of conflicts with ancient dragons long ago my friend is going to lose their shit because they have a character from Natlan who is an ancient dragon that used to wreak havoc on the people

Hoyo seems to add a performer character in each nation any way, but for Natlan I can imagine a Grass dancer, this depends on what different cultures will be in Natlan, there is the more obvious but if they add Native American culture then I think this could be a good option. From what my mom told me I believe they are mostly male however its possible for women to also be grass dancers, and dances were performed after a victory over the enemy. I can imagine that this character would be dendro and a bow or catalyst user. There's also the Aztec dancers, the feathers they wear in their regalia are amazing so if they add this to a character I can imagine them being either pyro or anemo, mostly betting on pyro because this sounds most visually appealing and they could be a bow or polearm user.

I really like the idea of getting to play as the Tribe Leaders, I think that at least 1 of them is very likely to happen. Maybe we can get a Phoenix inspired character too since Natlan is the Pyro nation. They could have a built in glider to there kit maybe as their non combat talent.

I’ve had this theory ever since people had speculated that benett was from Nathan and since he left he became unlucky. Imagine we help solve whatever problem in Natlan that’s keeping its people from leaving, we break the curse and benett unluckiness goes away and he becomes stronger (possibly 5 star benett). I would argue that among the Aeons, Aha, and Akivili were the most "free," because their paths coincide the most with freedom. Akivili's path of Trailblaze is all about freedom and exploration, so THEY had almost as much freedom as a mortal would. Aha's path of Elation is all about taking joy and pranks of all things, so THEY can basically do whatever, as long as it's sufficiently funny. THEIR paths are broad enough to allow THEM an approximation of free will.

I think humans in genshin evolved from cats or/and wolves since they seem to have some characteristics of those animals in their recessive genes and we also haven't seen monkeys but it seems more possible that the species they evolved from just had similar characteristics to those animals

I have two things I wish to discuss. 1.) it’s definitely a likely possibility that the Tribe Leaders will be called Chieftains/Chieftesses. And considering how there was a Grand Sage for Sumeru, I wonder if there’ll be an equivalent to Natlan? 2.) There’s a possibility that Murata is indeed the current Archon. And she might have something to do with the Natlan curse. When Venessa’s tribe left Natlan, they appear to have stopped telling stories of Murata, almost as if … they forgot their Archon, what if that’s the curse? Considering how it deals with memory loss, suggests the effect of Irminsul tampering. It’s kind of a combination of Sumeru and Fontaine’s issues. A Nation where the people of the Nation are inflicted with workings of Irminsul. Leaving the Nation of Pyro will turn your memories of that Nation into ash, and this can be connected to Bennett. “This baby must be a child abandoned by the world itself.” This is how the man who found Bennett described him, and a world abandoning a child would only be probable if the Irminsul was involved. What if Bennett left his home nation Natlan, and the amnesia curse was set upon Bennett, only to find out that this newborn child had a memory of Natlan that the Irminsul could not tamper with, so the curse adapted into a serious of unfortunate mishaps as the next best alternative. (A lot of guesswork there, I know, but I might as well get crazy with my Natlan theories and hope something sticks!)

As a Black/Hispanic player I'm terrified for how they'll illustrate the playable characters and history. If the cast takes names and cultural aspects of latin america and west africa history yet they're all pale I'll be disappointed. The pyro archon leaks don't help my dilemma. We know from the genshin comic that the people of Natlan were once enslaved by the Mondstadt aristocrats, which makes me wonder if they'll mention it when we reach Natlan. I also hope the pyro travler has cool powers.

I’m really hoping we get Vennessa in Natlan. She ascended to Celestia, so we know she isn’t dead. I’ve speculated before, but I think she will be an Anemo sword user that focuses on plunging like Xiao and Kazuha. It would be sick if her skill/burst incorporated falcon wings since she’s the Falcon of the West (or bird wings in general because I know the translation is a little off for “falcon” so she might not be that).

Imagine Natlan being like the first how to train your dragon. With some hunting and others living in harmony with dragons.

I'm thinking some sort of Shaman/Priestess might be Playable. Perhaps acting as a Healer. Perhaps we will see some kind of Hunter character as well. I'm hoping we will see plenty of Aztec/Mayan/Incan character designs. Evidently, there will be some African characters which I hope is also true. But, since we likely won't see much in the way of Natlan NPCs; I'm hoping the HUB City will be mostly Aztec/Mayan/Incan. Or maybe each district/portion of the City represents each Tribe. I also hope we get to meet at least 1 Natlan character in 4.8.

Personally, I dont like this “leaked design” of the Pyro archon, Im Latina and from regions Natlan is based off and were are not happy about her being a c*nquistador. Our relationship with Spain is complicated due to the massive abuse that happened to our people and how more than half of my and other countries culture were lost in the process. From the main airport there was a leaked conversation of a Spanish pilot being extremely racist of the way we talk, and its not the first incident of people from the first world country to call us “monkeys” or something that will put us down to them. Currently in Mexico there are a lot of gringos (Americans) trying to ban Mexican music because they are so obsessed on making Mexico their perfect vacation home and we want them to return home because its not fair we have to step our culture aside for a countries that have a “better” situation. Making our representative god based on such horrible people is… a choice. As bad as putting Nahida as a British colonizer. But hey this is my opinion! If you like her design you do you, just please dont defend it. There are so many gods of war in Aztec, Mayan and Inca mythology, so that’s why the disappointment, thank you for reading this!
