  • Nabu Malikata, otherwise known as the Goddess of Flowers, was a mysterious god of Sumeru who ruled alongside King Deshret and Greater Lord Rukkhadevata. While she may be deceased, I still have a few ideas as to how she could influence the present day.

If we ever have a chance to see Nabu Malikata again i hope its a main quest, I love world quests but not having them being voiced is so annoying sometimes, and she is one of those characters that DESERVES a voice, shes definitely my favorite of the 3 God's cuz shes so mysterious and the oldest of them, so she might know stuff from before the "2nd who came" arrival in Teyvat

for those who don't know, i think the music in the harvisptokhm area is called the caress of three mothers, which literally means that the paris are made from three goddesses' powers. The shade of Nabu Malikata being transformed into a divine bird by Rukkhadevata's powers and Simurgh diving into the pool of amrita which is literally Egeria's remains and that's how the Paris and Khvarena were born.

I hope someday, in some way Deshret and Nabu Malikata can return to the loving world somehow, the way their relationship is described is so touching, id hate for them to not get happy ending after all they've been through and maybe then we can get Nabu, Deshret and Nahida hanging out together like the good ol days

Well, according to the game's lore, in the set of artifacts related to the goddess of flowers, she used all of her power to create a "bridge" for Amun or Deshret to adquire the forbidden knowledge. So, I don't see how she would have divided her soul.

If Egeria became the pool of Amrita, and the Cataclysm occured aroung the area of Tunigi Hollow. The *Sumeru Lore* was so vast and spread out that I had a _lot_ of trouble piecing it all together while playing... so I am really _really_ grateful for these videos!
I would like to add that one of the paths leading into the *Eternal Oasis* ("Bayt Al-Sukr", an underground path near The Sands of Three Canals) has some _extremely_ unique flowers growing into it, which AFAIK aren't seem anywhere else in the game; *In my head cannon* these would be the *real* (but not original) *Padisarah,* as they are the exact shade of *purple* which is said to _"not exist in the real world"_ (as scientists say, _"we humans see violet when light comes into our eyes and triggers blue with a hint of red"_ / _"Purple is a mixture of red and blue, but when you look at the color spectrum midway between red and blue you find green - There’s no space for purple... and yet we can definitely 'see' purple"_ ...making such color an *illusion* / something "imaginary")... while the collectable Padisarah - the "failed attempts" - are a more blueish hue of "violet"... Maybe these flowers grew there naturally after Nabu Malikata's "death"? Just my 2 cents.

I have a theory about their horns is a crown type thing(or a halo) of a seelie race im sure their horns is use(or show) for special things like events or festivals. Another thing apep known's nabu malikata.

And even though we don't know Neither of Nabu's or Liloupar's hair colour I would assume that pink hair would fit Liloupar way better, she also have the same water droplet thing on her bottle form (I don't wth it's called) the same as Nilou on her crown or tiara, but as you said it indeed does not fit the description so in the end I don't really know that much either

So I think there is a connection between Celestial creatures and the birth of humans. The water outside what is referred to as the firmament is consistently worded as ambient fluid meaning it is what Theyvat uses to nurture itself. Please remember that Theyvat is supposed to be seen like an egg sheltered in it's womb basically a universe in the final stage of being created. But if Celestial creatures also known as the old gods were used to create Theyvat it was done on the expense of heavenly principles. Unfortunately I think it is more complicated I think some of the humans are the celestial creatures it's just they do not know because Irminsul has erased that information therefore erasing them means erasing human existence. Childe being the prime suspect for being the Narwhal in Fontaine, he unconsciously travels there because his other self is calling to him and they both feel anger at the same time. By killing the celestial creatures it would be like heaven never existed and therefore no threat to humans would exist anymore. Humans however are doing sinful acts in Theyvat which is directly connected to the Abyss meaning it spawns demons and someone or something has decided that it needs to consistently annihilated.
This means in theory that Theyvat was never birthed. This could be an interpretation of hell, meaning a place were all humanities bad deeds go and being recycled in eternity through Irminsul therefore that tree is a gift as well as a curse.
Now someone in hell wished the travellers to come save them this is the ultimate final secret the wishing animation, who conjures stars to come down to Theyvat?. And the demons(archons) plot with her/him to throw away the established order. This is to be liken to the wardens to a prison letting the prisoners riot freely. The consequences for this is likely another war, which side will the archons be this time do they have a will that rivals the world or can Celestia take control of them I think it's the latter

Celestia tried to give a Gnosis to Deshret, not Nabu. And no, a Divine Nail was not dropped in Chenyu Vale.

  • @Zeke1460
    @Zeke1460 Před 3 měsíci +5

5:23 you’re incorrect. Deshret didn’t have to find the divine nail. Because the divine nail is literally what killed Nabu Malikata when she used abyssal power to show deshret forbidden knowledge. It fell from celestia and PHYSICALLY CRUSHED HER right in front of him. The same nail that caused the spiral crater in Mt hadramaveh. Because that’s where they met for her to show deshret forbidden knowledge. And she didn’t commit self-die. She just knew that Celestia would kill her for sharing what she knew with Deshret and she did it anyway.
All of this is in the artifact lore for the Flower of Paradise Lost set.
We KNOW what happened to her. It’s not a mystery and it doesn’t require theorizing. It’s already documented in artifact lore.

OK so ignoring all the Deshret stuff....
    * GoF is from beyond Teyvat - so a potential Descender
    * GoF has higher tier energy (Khvarena - says René - though by that time it's mixed with Dendro and Hydro)
    * She has a track record of self-sacrifice to help save humanity
    * She forsees (prophecy) humanity needing help, therefore has an ability to forsee future which may indicate an Irminsul connection
    * She has a history of co-operation with the PO, as a sort of disgruntled former employee
    * But she shares a desire to help / save / guide humanity with Celestia despite their rift
*There's a question mark over her death / status since Deshret promises the Jinn that she's not dead
GoF is a very high if not the highest likelihood of being the 3rd Descender. What we know of the 3rd Descender is they must be an alien of great power with a great will. We also know they sacrifice themself to create the Gnosis/Vision system, that they therefore love humanity and co-operate with the PO on that project, which appears to be there to help control the Abyssal energies and keep Teyvat habitable for humans. GoF is willful and stuffed with energy that she uses to oppose the Abyss. Even after she is cursed and cast down from heaven, she is more powerful than Deshret. 3rd Descender has to co-operate with the first but feels weaker than the other Descenders and most likely is the one who merely "upholds the world" or protects it. As opposed to creating it or destroying it. If each Descender is associated with a huge war then the 3rd is likely associated with the Cataclysm, but instead of causing it the GoF could be trying to prevent it or win it. If the 3rd Descender protects the world as their world fate changing ability, then we need a character that has sacrificed themselves to protect Teyvat to be the 3rd. The GoF is such a person and there are not many choices.
It's interesting the video hypothesizes that GoF is split into pieces because the 3rd Descender is split into 7 pieces.
We also know that Liloupar says Traveler (4th descender) reminds her of her master. Liloupar may have meant her original and creator master the GoF (3rd descender?)
It's also possible that GoF is left with only a whispy ethereal body much like the other Seelie at this point and cannot be seen -- like Nicole.
Nicole is an odd creature who appears to be related to a Descender as she knows about Irminsul and Irminsul shifts. Not much is known about her but she says she has an irresistible habit of trying to guide people. Like a Seelie would. Alice says she is the guide who cannot get lost. Is she unable to get lost because she is immune to Irminsul? Nicole laughs when Paimon says she is a voice from the sky but then says, well that's not completely untrue. So she comes from the heavens in some sense, or has an association with the sky. As a Seelie would. As a Descender would. Even if GoF is not Nicole, Nicole on her own merits is a good fit for the 3rd Descender. She's been used to explicitly join the themes of the Sumeru and Fontaine AQs and is the only person to do so within the text of the AQs themselves (Nahida does so in her voice lines).
Both GoF and Nicole are introduced as characters around the same time and just in time to link to the whole theme of challenging fate and Descenders which starts in Sumeru. Nicole is explicitly linked to the theme of Irminsul and challenging fate. GoF is said to help Deshret try to overcome the shackles of fate, though she warns there will be a great price for anyone trying and it will be very hard (but not impossible) to do so. That's a phrasing that Nicole echoes to the Traveler, when the Traveler is becoming interested in changing fate too. In as much as both Deshret and Traveler are interested in getting help on how to challenge fate from GoF / Nicole respectively, that is an alternate explanation of Liloupar's statement that Traveler reminds them of their master with the master being Deshret this time. I prefer the more direct argument but the game text uses the male pronoun in referencing Liloupar's old master that she says the Traveler reminds her of. But we know how bad the Chinese is on gender pronoun swapping. so take your pick.

All Seelies are aliens as they came with the Ark-god from the primordial human planet where they witnesses the downfall of mankind and we know this because of the songs they sing about their own downfall - which is said to be based on a song they originally wrote about mankind's fall. (See A Drunkard's Tale).
As for Khvarena that's just the history of Simurgh / Tunigi during the Cataclysm and René's notes which there's two interactables that talk about it. It's all in that last Sumeru region.
