  • Lesser Lord Kusanali is the current Dendro Archon of Sumeru, succeeding the previous Archon Greater Lord Rukkhadevata. Each of them have been important to Sumeru, especially in the fight against forbidden knowledge. In this video, I talk about their history and how it has affected Sumeru.

    I can’t help but feel that rukkhadevata always ended up cleaning other people’s messes, resorting to even gruesome means like sacrificing desret or using hydro archons body to sustain teyvat. While celestia and desret were busy in politics, she and nabu malikata were the ones who were left with the ugly parts of dealing with the consequences.

    Important note at 4:15
    After Nabu Malikata's death, the city of Ay-Khanoum-ruled by the three gods-was destroyed. As a result, the people of the three gods scattered throughout the desert.
    This was when the city of Gurabad was first founded as a vassal state (a state which has its own ruler but admits as a subject to another state; in this case, Gurabad admits as a subject to King Deshret's civilization).
    This meant that Gurabad started to exist around the same time that Lord Rukkhadevata left King Deshret along with her devout followers to found their own civilization in the east.
    PS Gurabad was first destroyed before the death of King Deshret, when a Jinni named Liloupar sabotaged the city's human rulers. We know that King Deshret was still alive during this time because he punished Liloupar for causing the fall of Gurabad by splitting her into separate bottles.
    After King Deshret's death, the city of Gurabad was rebuilt as it so happened that it existed around one of the seven temples built during the spread of the forbidden knowledge in the desert, and then fell for the last time, never to rise again.

    Sometimes I forget that ruhkkadahvata took the form of a child for 2000+ years I can only imagine her as a adult when we saw that cut scene which means that the other archons (specifically venti and zhongli only remember her as a child) meaning that their memories wouldn’t be much affected, considering they don’t know much about her

Maybe next year fall event Nahida can have a proper birthday festival full fun and smiles wishing her "Happy Birthday" like she so rightfully deserved but was robbed of by Azar and his group and the Fatui. I would love that very much for our Yakshini tree fairy goddess as she deserves the world. I speculate that the part of Rukadevata turning into a child was actually a Nahida effect (aka the original dendro archon used all its power and sacrificed themselves and made Rukadevata the new dendro archon while erasing the previous archon)

    certainly the saying of Rukkhadevata "taking the form of a child" after using her powers to fight against deshret's forbidden knowledge is just when Rukkhadevata replaced the irminsul avatar before her, right? Since that's now the story with nahida taking the form of a child after using all of her powers fighting in the cataclysm once Rukkhadevata was erased from the world's memories.

    Various parts, especially the aranara environmental details, hint our sibling passed through on their journey. Im curious, when was their journey relative to all of this? for example, the travelers were leaving, so if the sibling passed through when nahida was found the PAIR would have initially landed sometime around the end of Deshrets reign.

    We know apep was hit by a nail just after she ate deshret's remains and got apocalypsed (forbidden knowledge overflow) , the question is : is this the one that made her go from green to sand coloured or was there a nail earlier than that used somewhere else that caused changed the forest to sand and her colour. The maelstrom on mount davamand was probably the later nail. Deshret's kingdom rose when there was already sand much earlier than this.

    @DavidJohnson-ib1dh Před rokem +1

    So... you figure that Rukkhadevata goes to Tunigi twice? Once to create the big tree stump and the Gaokerena, then off to do something with the Irminsul and then back to Tunigi later on to help purify it... when she dies? But why would helping purify the tree stump kill her? It's not that hard to do so. Traveler does it without any real issues.

    • @DavidJohnson-ib1dh
      @DavidJohnson-ib1dh Před rokem +1

      Plus if the corruption in the tree stump is considered forbidden knowledge then why does it still exist after Nahida claims she got rid of it all? ie why does the Traveler have to purify it? Or are you saying that the tree stump used to be corrupted by forbidden knowledge and get cleaned regularly but now it's corrupted by something else, like Abyssal energy? and it's the same process to clean both corruptions? but wouldn't Nahida deleting all forbidden knowledge have obviated the need to purify the tree stump for a few decades at least? Or do you think it was always forbidden knowledge plus something else all along and when forbidden knowledge got globally zapped by Nahida the other stuff still needed purifying? That still feels like Zuran wouldn't be in such a hurry to get it done though.

    • @SiliconOneFour
      @SiliconOneFour  Před rokem +3

      No, she went to Tunigi and created the Harvisptokhm, went to Irminsul, and died. Simurgh purified the Harvisptokhm.

    • @SiliconOneFour
      @SiliconOneFour  Před rokem +2

      And the Harvisptokhm was corrupted by Abyssal energy, not forbidden knowledge. The Sign of Apaosha reflects the Abyss and corrupts the area below it.

      @DavidJohnson-ib1dh Před rokem +1

      @@SiliconOneFour OK. That sounds more like it although you might have said it wrong on the video, or I heard it wrong.
      I thought you might have been putting the statement in the Folio of Foliage together with the rest of the lore in a clever way. It suggests Rukk. died in Tunigi, but if there had been two trips it changes things. Well whether you meant to say it or not, it's not a bad idea... but it has some issues.
      Another possibility is the Irminsul is at Tunigi somehow.
      I'd think it was a trivial detail except the changed version of Folio changes precisely this detail. And it just seems-- why? Is it going to be important?
