To clarify, the fish bowl idea is only for temporary holding while cleaning a tank, not for long-term use!

Don’t forget to reuse sauce jars, pickle jars, baby food jars, or any other kind of glass jar before throwing those away! (You already paid for them and don’t have to buy new jars!)

Don’t buy mason jars you guys if you already buy pasta sauce brands like Ragu etc I put them in the dishwasher and the paper wrap falls off immediately and even the sign says mason jar

Lovely ideas! Except for the fish one, it's a myth that betta fish can live in such a tiny tank, they need a filtered, heated tank that's at least 5 gallons. However, these jars do make great homes for praying mantises!

I use a mason jar to store sliced avocado . I place the avocado in the jar, screw the lid on tight and then refrigerate. I do not gave to use lime juice with it. It seems to last up to four days.

DO NOT use a mason jar as a fish tank. It is WAY to small and the rounded shape distorts the fishes vision causing stress.

Whatever you do do not use it as a fishbowl there’s not enough room and it’s a Cylinder and you can’t really put a filter in there so just please don’t use that for fish your fish will probably just die

Mason jars are way too small for fish! Even a betta needs at least a 10 gallon tank.
