You have to love how excited you get to do the simplest things in NES games with the U-Force. I can definitely see how someone would be into using it after they had mastered a game.
Play the U-force with the power glove on. That way you can play P1 and P2 at the same time.

Possibly still my all time favourite Cinemassacre video. Peripherals could be really stupid in 1980s and 90s. The bit where they're playing Gauntlet and it looks like Mike is hosting a low budget puppet show still makes me laugh every time.

I'm kind of surprised you didn't try Punch Out!, Rad Mobile, and Bad Street Brawler on these devices since they were used/advertised in the commercial, movie, and box; respectively.

I'm pretty sure the U Force works better for Super Mario Bros when it's laying flat.
Also the game play on James' new TV is great no input delay of any kind. He must be using a Framemeister and game mode enabled on his TV because the games played like he was using a CRT TV.
+Fender178 Yeah, I know! I've been watching a ton of My Life in Gaming lately, and seeing James use a Framemeister is beautiful. Now I just hope he mods his consoles for RGB. (And HDMI for N64.)

This was a great concept for an episode. Loved it!
At least the U-Force works. It's awkward and unintuitive, but you can tell what you're doing. It'd probably be useful if you had no fingers. As far as werid retro peripherals go it's pretty respectable.
James single handedly raised the price on the Jekyll and Hyde game. In '06 it cost $.99. Now it goes for $10-15.

The gauntlet part gave me flashbacks to the 80's. Going insane trying to watch someone play a video game that never had before. Thanks for that Guys.

Fun fact: the Powerglove works with ultrasounds. It emits an intermittent ultrasound pulse that the three sensors you mount on the TV are continuously listening for, and that's how it knows in which direction you are tilting your arm.
