    Hi my name is Caira Button and I am a 25 year old who makes videos about tips, tricks, and organization for small space living. I love the minimalist, feminine, clean vibe. I have kept the decor pretty neutral adding a bit of mid century modern & LOTS of plants. I hope my advice is able to help you in your journey!

    I have lived in a studio apt for almost 13yrs and and loved it. But my studio is special. It has high ceilings and a covered patio, elevators, all I could need. I adore my apt.

    Out ancestors lived in studio teepees. 🤣 They never complained and was just fine.

    It takes me hours to clean my house. I want a studio apartment bad as hell. I am ready to leave my entire family (no kids) and just roll to live in a studio apartment. If I lived in a studio apartment I would eat only on 2 fine dish sets. I would move nothing in unless I absolutely needed it. I am a new minimalist living in an over packed house and it's hell! Every day I got to pray to stay in it.

      I get that feeling!! I am feeling over cluttered in my own little studio and am getting rid of a ton of stuff. There is something so refreshing about living in simple spaces.

    I live in a 330 sq. ft. studio with my pet house rabbit. Mine is in an old school that was converted to apartments. It is downtown in a small city and I no longer own a car because I can get around without one. I love my studio and would never give it up. Love your video!

      That is AWESOME!! I bet your studio looks so cool with it being an old school. I also don't have a car anymore and I love it.

    Thanks for making this video... I have watched it several times in making my new decision. I'm currently in a really small studio where the rent is cheap but there's not a real kitchen, no sink, not really a full bathroom and I have killed so many roaches and my landlord doesn't really care to fix the problem. I just toured a studio for $875 with an actual kitchen and bathroom and a big enough space to turn it into both a bedroom and living room... but I was debating what to do and this really confirmed it for me... sometimes you have to sacrifice and pay a little bit more to have a cleaner and safer place... it's not worth it to pay thousands of dollars just to have a door separating like you said!!! I'm subscribing and will watch some of your organization videos :) wish me good luck on landing the new place!!!

      AH I agree with you 100%. Not worth paying for more, but to have a clean and safe place absolutely!!!! Thank you for your sweet comment. I hope you love your new place and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

    A studio is definitely worth it if you're single and live on your own. And if you fit it with the right furniture and avoid having clutter, it can be great to live in one.

    I live in a studio condo, right in the heart of downtown. Up on the 32nd floor with an awesome view and one of only two units on the floor with my own private balcony. Love it.

    I was leaning towards possibly getting a 1 bedroom in the future, but when I heard you could just buy a divider for a studio apartment, I think that'll be a better start and more frugal.

    • @CairaButton
      @CairaButton  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes! It’s so easy to do and can save so much money!

      also, there sometime is a in between place where the bedroom is divided by a cloth divider built right into the structure itself. these studios are usually a little bigger like 500 sq ft

    Thank you so much for your video. I just moved to a studio in a very nice neighborhood. It's my first time living alone. I used to live in NYC and renting room. What most annoys me, that shoes, in which I go outside, to close to my bed. If I move my bed to a another part of the room, I will be too close to my fridge that makes noice. Also, view from my window kind of upsetting (nearest neighbors building is too close)

      Jennifer i do!! Mainly for Christmas because it’s my favorite. I put out some fall scented stuff in fall though.
      I have a video from last year of my Christmas decorations but I’m very excited to use them in my studio for the first time this year.
