Love this video! I think it's funny that people will not want to sleep on a second hand mattress that in many cases has been well cleaned, but have no problem sleeping on hotel mattresses that countless people have been on.
Love the bed frame and the fact that you kept it from going into a landfill. You have a great eye for bargains. Love your bedside table also. Such a good deal on your couch and your kitchen countertop unit. So glad you saved all those plants as well. You are an amazing thrifter. Love your channel.
This trash room you speak of......I want to go on holiday there! You actually have your own thirft store where everything is free. I really like your style and that mattress scheme is genius and not something I would have an issue with but before you explained I was firmly in the no second hand bed camp. Xx

I should have watched to the end before I commented! 😂 we got our headboard/footboard/frame for 70 dollars on Craigslist! It was gorgeous and never used because the couple couldnt figure out how to put it together. The factory had welded the cross bar on upside down. My husband drilled through it, turned it over, and boom! 8.5 years later and it's still awesome!
That’s such an awesome deal on that mattress. That second dresser is so cool. That drop down door is just screaming bar cabinet to me. Maybe a wine rack on the bottom two spaces. 🤔. DIY projects are also one of the best parts of thrifting😊

ive seen several investigative shows on "refurbished" & "sanitized" mattresses....that are not! i love thrifting but ONLY if i can wash it (clothes) or thoroughly clean it (solid surfaces). when we go away, we immediately throw the comforters,blankets& pillows in the closet. we bring our own sheets & pillow. i use my own hand cloth&face towel. i rough it with the body towels. & i never walk barefoot on the (ugh) carpets. ive seen too many expose's on too many high rated hotels & the filth they hide. totally grossed out!!! oh, & way before covid, i started spraying lysol on everything in the room, door knobs, light switches, toilet,sink,counter, phone, etc.. (the remote was found to be the most disgusting). but after all that...from practice, we get it all done quickly, we are all set to party! lol!!!!

Nope! Mine has locking wheels so it stays in place. And yes! Definitely check online at places like Facebook marketplace and whatnot. You can get some amazing deals!
My favorite thing to thrift is dressers and bookcases. Dressers from the 50s to 70s solid wood charming compartments and gorgeous indistructable. Never buy a new dresser costly and weak. Waste of $$$

I got a buffet 6 ft table for 100 on fb market place. It has a marble top and lots of drawers where I store my pillow covers.
