- I'm so excited to show you my new apartment in Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia! This apartment is still a work in progress but I've done a lot with it during my first six weeks living here. Almost everything is either thrifted, vintage, or antique and I love how it's coming together!

Love the Victorian details with the moldings. Rittenhouse Square/Center City is my favorite neighborhood in Philadelphia. I enjoy Philly's history and proximity to DC too!

for that area near the door you could probably put a telephone bench. (if you google it you can see many different examples of vintage ones) it would probably be a good place to put keys, mail and if they have a lower portion shoes that you wear out often.

The toothbrush holder was standard 6 person I think cuz we had one too growing up for 6 people! Lol 😂 I’m sure you will diy it w something pretty like small bud vases and little plants or something 😊

My place is about the same vintage as yours. It was built in the 1920s. For some reason, that’s how they did toilets then, with all the plumbing inside the walls and what we identify as an institutional handle for flushing. If anything happens and a plumber needs to access the pipes etc., there goes my beautiful 1920s tile wall!
But my place already had a chandelier like yours in it hanging in the long hallway.

Great space and love that sofa, coffee table and chandelier. I've always wanted either a pink or purple couch. I just watched your apt hunting video. I'm the lady returning to the States in a few months after 5 yrs in Europe. I'm old enough to be your mum but I'm a vintage seller and anytime you want to go thrifting/antiquing let me know.😂 I can treasure hunt all day.

The dresser plate is amazing
It would be interesting to try switching the high sofa tables(which flank a low sofa) with the low bedside tables (which flank a high headboard)
I've been thinking about doing this very thing! I'm getting kind of sick of the sofa tables and I might just replace them altogether

Lovely apartment! Have you considered removing the picture on the wall over the toilet and installing a nice cabinet for storage? It really doesn't look that bad without a tank, and you could hang a decorative towel on the bar. You're creative, so I'm sure that you could still incorporate some artwork into the bathroom. Just curious - how is your ventilation working for your stove?

get rid of the dusty rose pink , replace the dresser with a old pine antique, choose a duvet cover with pattern of green flowers , some curtains would finish off the windows

You need to free up the floor space or it will looked cramped

Especially bcs I just watched the video when you were househunting so I saw how it looked like! Question, sorry if you have answerred it in another video, I am trying to go chronologically: what did you use on the kitchen countertop to make it black? Is it waterproof?

This is a cute apt. Your tapestry are very cool. I still like dining room table where office is,call me weird but it just seems that it makes more sense.I love all the space though, it doesn't take long to fill it. Do you have like a bar cart? That would look good in livingroom,for entertaining& maybe some music type pictures/ stero/ something of that nature. I love your gallery wall,I have mine all over( not a minimalist).😊 Maybe some different mirrors,macromay. Do what you like.👍

Things are hung too high on the "gallery wall" in the living space. You need a medallion on the ceiling where the chandelier is

Why don't you move that dressing table (minus the mirror) into your office area - to the left of your desk, against the wall - and pile files, books, plants etc on it? You could hang pictures on the wall and it would look fabulous!
