Have you ever wondered if Studio apartment living is for you?
So about a month ago I uploaded a Studio Apartment Tour video:

and I was not expecting it to get as many views as it did but holy moly it is now at 10,000 views which makes it BY FAR my most viewed video on CZcams so far (I am BRAND NEW to CZcams, I have only had it for a month!) so this truly blew my mind!!
I mentioned briefly in the beginning of that video that I could potentially do a 'PROS and CONS of Living in a Studio Apartment' video at some point, and judging by the amount of views that the apartment tour video has gotten, I figured a lot of people would probably benefit from a Pros and Cons video after all, so here it is! :)
I have lived in a studio apartment for almost 2 years now, and before this I have lived in even tinier spaces all my life, so I feel that I am pretty experienced on the subject and can provide an in-depth perspective on it to help others.
This was my first time doing a chit-chat style video, normally I am reviewing a product of some sort, so this was very fun to make!

ahh congrats on ur apartment tour hitting 10,000 views! This video was so helpful with pros / cons points I've never thought about despite living in an apartment as a kid! hope u find a good solution to display ur dolls and precious things

@@carinagomes773 aww thats unfortunate that you don’t have one! 😭 Although I am grateful I am lucky enough to have one, I have to be honest, because of the angle it’s on, the sun directly hits it with no shade whatsoever and because I am on the top floor it gets CRAZY windy and cold so honestly it’s not the best experience 😭 I hate to complain but just keeping it real haha, ultimately I am still very lucky to have one of course 🙂

Probably the best thing about your apartment is that it's one big room, like you said, it must be a lot easier to clean, there are no walls in your way which gives you this big open space to play around with as much as you want, and everything's in clear view in case of an emergency like a kitchen fire. It's really spacious too, which I guess creates the illusion that it's bigger than it really is while still feeling cozy. I can understand how the cons start to bleed through, but you've done such a good job with your place, it's compact and cozy and it's full of your style, when I first saw it, I thought it looked like a movie set, or that character's room from your favorite childhood show that you wish you had.

I'm considering this kind of living... wondering if i'll feel isolated
It can definitely feel very isolating and lonely at times I’m not gonna lie 😞 but it also gives a ton of freedom and joy too ☺️
I spent over 20 years living in efficiencies/studios of various sizes(all in the same building, my town’s former hospital)and I can attest to the cons:
1. I lived with my late husband for about ten years, and literally the only time we had any privacy when both of us were home was the bathroom.
2. When our cats took a dump in their litterbox, you couldn’t escape it.
3. Thanks to the lack of soundproofing, when our next-door neighbors decided to…ummm..”get busy”…AWKWARD!
