The incident at Love Lies Bleeding sounds to me like an organised protest to me. Incidents like the one described happen considerably more than than the few which actually get any acknowledgement by the media.
The sad thing is that there has been a very clear rise in violence in or near what was considered 'safe' places for queer folk in Belgium and specifically Flanders. There's a riding tide on the far-right over here, being given a lot mainstream attention, creating a climate where idiots feel emboldened to attack queer people in the street and the police are either dismissive or increasingly hostile towards the victims. It's 'organized' in the sense that people already hostile, are being agitated and deciding on a Friday night to go pick a fight instead of going out in a normal fashion.
I absolutely loved the fall guy. As mark says it’s a popcorn movie and frankly with everything going on in the world right now this film was exactly what I needed
The Fall Guy was slightly undercooked but I found Emily Blunt's performance interesting, it was strange to see an actor play a director but she was fantastic. Ryan Gosling has tons of charisma and I thought it was pretty fun. Hannah Waddingham chewed up the scenery and Aaron Taylor Johnson is fineee as hell. I enjoyed it.
The Fall Guy was like visiting my accountant, who happened to be Steve Martin with monkeys in the background slapping each other, until finally hugging. No brains were hurt in the making of this comment.
"A soft number two is something else" 😆
"A soft number two..... ". Proper belly laughed, thanks Simon 'n' Mark. 🤣🤣

"the film causing that kind of behaviour" I don't think it's the film that's the problem here...

Marks space seems to be getting smaller....
I really enjoyed Barbie and Blade Runner 2, but any/every Gosling project that isn't The Nice Guys 2 should be The Nice Guys 2 instead IMO.
Came here for some reflection on The Phantom Menace, left disappointed.
