  • For how long was Wade Wilson tortured by sadistic psychos? Why was torture needed to activate the mutation in test subjects? What on Earth happened to Wade’s skin? I’ll answer these questions and more in this video. If you like Deadpool, don’t forget to give this video a “thumbs up”! Enjoy!

    True the transformation was induced by the serum and extreme stress on the body(torture). The serum works by speeding up the bodies natural functions, in effect its a massive stimulate and steroid.
    When the body is stressed, it speeds up its functions to try to help protect you, the serum is supposed to work alongside that reaction.
    Since Wade was in a oxygen deprivation tank,
    When his transformation kicked in, his bodies oxygen levels were almost nothing, the serum activated by essentially breaking down his body tissue to release oxygen. Once the tissues broke down, it rushed throughout his entire body, feeding oxygen to his cells while healing the damage it caused. However, since cancer cells are more resilient, cancer cells replaced all the normal cells the serum broke down while triggering a healing response to counteract the new cancer cells.
    In effect, Deadpool's system is at constant war with itself.

    • @kierangalvin5925

      @Craxin01 he's about 80% cancer actually, that's why we can see the cancer. Difference is, the 20% that is normal cells, are in his VITAL organs. Making them functional enough to sustain him, as the healing factor fixes the damage. His brain has cancer in the part that controls pain. That's another reason he's faster, because his brain doesn't tell him to stop when he could hurt himself, like it does for us.
      If we couldn't feel pain, we could move better and faster, but at a bigger risk of injury. Deadpool's body heals the trauma as it happens.

    • @Craxin01
      @Craxin01 Před rokem +13

      @@kierangalvin5925 I don't know if that's true. I wouldn't doubt 80% of his organs have some cancer and his skin is covered in cancerous sores, but not 80 of his body. Otherwise, cutting off a limb would have it regrow with no cancer.

    I think I've once read in the comics that people who gain powers via scientific experimentation, or who have their dormant X-genes activated artificially in the same manner are called "Mutates" instead of "Mutants". The reason being that with mutants, the X-gene activation happens naturally, and typically their body adapts in a way to make the best of whatever ability they end up gaining; like Quicksilver's body being able to deal with air friction, being able to see no matter how fast he's going, and so on. More often than not, Mutates like Deadpool end up with a worthwhile power, but with horrific side-effects; but I think some of it depends on how the genes are triggered. DP both here and in the comics got his powers in a place that truly didn't give a shit about him in the slightest, while others had their power induced in very sterile and controlled procedures and environments. Look up a character named Kimura for an example of a mutate who basically won the lottery compared to DP.

    3:46, 50°F? That can't be right. A mix of water and ice should be much closer to 32°F. Ice itself maintains a temperature of 32°F as long as it remains solid. So, if there's a substantial amount of ice mixed into water, the temperature will hover near freezing. The exact temperature depends on the quantity of ice, but with enough ice, it certainly won't be as high as 50°F-it should be much closer to 32°F.

    Here's something to think about,
    Deadpool's super healing mutation is weaker than Wolverines.
    They both heal super fast, but Wade's body heals with cancer cells, and Logan's body heals with normal cells.
    Just like Logan, Wade's body will eventually start to poison itself, replacing ALL of his live cells with cancer cells.
    When that happens, healing will slow even the cancer cells will slow down too, because the heart can't pump enough fresh blood.
    His chemotherapy treatment is sleeping 24/7 in a nuclear weapon facility for 4 years... I think that should do it!😂
