      The more air that goes in needs to have modded exhaust for the extra air to get out, otherwise it will not rev up faster as the exhaust will be a bottleneck

      More air past the venturi in the carb will add more fuel, or just make it richer, with the screw on the carb

      Any husky dealer can order the parts you need. But i would like to note if there's nothing wrong with your cylinder, dont buy a new cylinder just to do this upgrade. The 365 and 372x-torq cylinders are the exact same, the only difference is in the transfer port caps. Either buy the 372xtorq caps, or grind out the divider in the caps you have.

    • @DuriensBane
      @DuriensBane Před 2 lety

      @@MachineryNation 365 special is the only saw that has a different CC rating, a 372xp and 365xp are nearly identical. Meaning their CC rating is almost the same, the difference is the 365xp is baffled to produce slightly less HP then the 372xp. The 365 special is a smaller saw. Husqvarna has a history of doing this too. The end 2 numbers on alot of saws are very very deceiving. A really good example of that is the 445xp and 450 rancher. They are both 50cc saws, but the 445 is actually MSRP cheaper. Either way, the 365/372 chassis is one of the best to modify and have fun with as parts are plenty.

      Maybe the six CC difference would have something to do with that? I own a 1999 372 XP along with a brand new 461. It's kind of an unfair comparison.

    • @dennisthemenace57
      @dennisthemenace57 Před 3 lety

      Not an accurate comparison, the 462 is the equivalent saw and cuts at least equal and is a bit lighter but durability? have to wait a while to find out
