Can be converted to be used for smaller seeds with the following methods:
    1) 1 layer of silicone dehydrator mat (with 1mm holes) on top.
    2) 2 layers of dehydrator mats for even smaller seeds.
    3) Soak the seeds to plump them up to double size first, before spreading on the mesh tray and dehydrator mats.

    1. need to water chickpea once a day at least? growing mung bean myself i have to water 'em twice a day and pour out the water to keep bottom clean.
    2. how do you cook the chickpea sprout if not merely add it in salad?
thanks for the video, very useful.

Hello there and thank you for the very helpful video 👍 I have only one question and don't seem to find an answer anywhere: if I'll grow it in water following your example, can I eat the whole thing or just the leaves? The reason why I'm asking is that unlike the other seeds for sprouts/microgreens, the chickpeas cooks for such a long time.
Also did you try to cook or bake something from the seeds after you've removed the greens?
Thank you in advance for your help ❤️🤗

Definitely we can have whole thing but you can have them when they are young (With in 7 days )after that the stems will get thicker and and it won't be tasty .
For consuming the whole thing... separate the seeds, cook them with little water and add your favorite spices and enjoy. Green part you can use in salads or in any curry of your choice.
If we cook the microgreens Longer, then we lose the nutrients from it .
      Whish you all good.
