    Coriander is a very favorite spice for family meals. It is very easy to grow, make use of styrofoam boxes, you just need to plant the coriander seeds in a plastic cup, put them in a styrofoam box filled with water. After 7 days coriander seeds have started to take root, you change the old water and add a little hydroponic solution to the plant to have nutrients. After 20 days you can harvest coriander for your family's meal. Let's grow it at home, good luck.

    Just a suggestion: you don't have to show every repetitive step like cutting every circle, filling up all the cups etc. Just show each step once or twice then go on to the next step... editing will make your site much better cuz you do have good ideas.

    Thank you for the step-by-step process. Sometimes people don't always get it the first go-round and have to keep rewinding, but now they won't have to. Keep doing what you do. Take all comments with a grain of salt, but don't let it define what you want your channel to be. Keep up the good work.

    Thank you for showing people how to recycle styrofoam containers for growing herbs,(and other plants as well)! I've used styrofoam cups to plant seeds in and then placed the cups directly into the earth; styrofoam breaks down more readily in the earth than other plastics. I believe that Perlite is made from styrofoam; It is used to lighten and airreate the soil. I've also used Cardboard egg cartons to plant seeds in. They disinagrate in the earth. Even though I'm 70 years old, in a wheelchair and my 69 year old husband is crippled, (but still walking), we are now Inspired to do container gardening again when we are able to move to a wheelchair accessible apartment with a sunny patio!

    • @phillipmckenzie2368
      @phillipmckenzie2368 Před 2 lety +5

      Perlite is not made from Styrofoam. I believe it is made from expanded volcanic glass heated to 1000 degrees Celsius. It is often confused with Styrofoam because Styrofoam has been used in potting mixes previously but not so much now. Perlite on the other hand continues to be used in potting and propagation mixes.

    If you have space to put the styrofoam containers, access to water and light, what is the necessity of all these fuss? Simply put little soil, sprinkle seeds and do regular watering for 15 days.
