You had me sold. Like ya I don't have this in my bag. Until I remembered my jade and that disc is money!
We’ve tried the Jade and it’s most definitely 💰! Very very comparable disc 👍
i like the new intro song. the old one was nice but this feels like a step up. The evolution of this channel has been amazing to see! Keep up the great work!
Thanks! We still use the original song but mix it up from time to time. 👍
I really liked how you did your review of the disc as it applies to all three skill levels.
Thank you Keith! It was very applicable for this disc and felt it suited to review best 👍
Falk it! I’m getting one!!
As a patreon subscriber, I will say great video content, almost perfect professional production. I still think the second camera angle not being looked directly into looks amateur hour-ish, but it was done minimally so not as bad as previous videos. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! We appreciate the feedback 👍 We haven’t heard many people complain about the 2nd camera angle, however, we did some research and feel we may have a solution.
Great review very interested in throwing one👍
great job yalls video has a lot of good info. I'll definately have to check this disc out. I've been using the hex and paradox for my midranges. the Hex, for me is straight with low fade at the end, the paradox, for me is pretty understable. Great for hyzer-flips
Thanks Ryno! 👍
Best feeling plastic I've ever thrown
For me, the Falk is a great straight fairway driver if thrown with moderate power, especially in windless conditions or with a tailwind. It glides for days and hardly fades. Don't put a lot of power on it though as it really wants to flip over. In that respect, its not even a perfect hyzer flip disc as it has the tendency to flip over when thrown with a lot of power. Nevertheless, if you need something that needs to fly for about 300 feet straight without any significant fade or effort, the Falk can really help you out. K1 or Royal Grand plastic (lat 64) are the best around imo but K1 is cheaper.
Thanks for your insight Ivo! 👍
When I started playing about 15 months ago, the Falk was the first fairway I could trust.
It’s exactly like you said, and has grown with me as I’ve gotten better and can Hyzer flip it easily now.
Love to have somebody fill us in on their experience with this disc. So perfect that it’s been one that has grown with you! We loved hear this ❤️👍
Actually ordered a k1 soft falk today.. already got the lots so looking forward to a flippier version
Let us know how it goes Johan! 👌
If you throw 400-ish, it's a great roller disc. I call mine "rullpippi" (swedish childish slang for "roller bird").
I love my falk
I would love to see a comparison between the Falk and the Lots! I'm hoping the Lots can be a Falk that is slightly wind resistant.
We’ve been interested in trying the Lots for awhile now. Have you tried one yourself?
Looks like a heat on Back hand. Does look to have more torque resistance on 4hand than the heat
any way you can check out gateway discs sometime? they're underrated in the market and their array of putting plastics is crazy! my fave plastics from them are pure white for putts, and platinum for drivers. pure white has a stiff chalky feel that's less slick than some comparable blends. I have a couple platinum illusions and I'd argue it is one of the most durable plastics ive ever owned
We’ll keep and eye and talk to True North about trying out some of their discs 👍
Hey its my hyzer flip machine and uphill backhand disc!
Yessir! Love it 👌❤️
I picked up a K1 Soft Falk and it wasn't a good experience. A little too gummy and I had a hard time getting it to release on the angles I wanted because of that reason. I may try a K1 or K1 glow to see if it's better.
You'll probably have better results with a more stable plastic. At the same time, we'll admit, it wasn't our favorite disc either. We actually prefer the Sidewinder over this disc
Love your disc reviews. How would you compare this to a Lat 64 Diamond if you can? I recently bought a Diamond but haven't had a chance to have a proper throw with it yet.
Hey! The diamond is much lighter and alot more turn. Its a great beginner/for kids disc though since most beginners have a slow armspeed and tend to release the disc in hyzer.
The Diamond will just turnover into a instant roller if you throw it with alot of armspeed.
The Falk is better for intermediate players and can be thrown with just a slight hyzer to keep going straight.
Never thrown a falk but I absolutely love my diamonds I have four 151gram I use the most .. for driving and approach’s even scrambling.. Only one turns over but I hit A LOT of trees with it when I started playing really hard too 😊 I have two 171g for windy rounds GREAT DISC!!
Can’t go wrong with a Latitude 64 Diamond! 👌
Great review 👍. What's the deal with the Glow Falk? I lucked out and got one online, I should have bought 2.
What would you like to know?
@@JustDisc I'd like to know why they are always limited and what are the release dates for next year? Thanks
I think it all has to do with the companies location (Europe), the explosion in popularity of disc golf, and the company seeing great success in the last few years. Best bet is to buy them online from a reputable source. They shouldn’t be that hard to find, unlike the Berg. Infinite discs, ace runners and true North are our recommendations!
As for next years releases, we unfortunate don’t have any information on the matter. Best of luck!
@@JustDisc Thanks 👍
Got the super soft one and it flies very overstable. I have a hard time throwing it farther than my explorer and its certainly not going farther than my fury
For reference the explorer is a disc I can throw about 275, the fury I can throw between 300 and 320
I throw a hatchet, similar use and flight
Nice! Which company makes that disc?
@@JustDisc westside discs.
Outstanding review, how's your baby girl and mom
Thank you Mark! And we truly appreciate you asking.
All is well with our new baby Emma! Still working on the ever changing routine lol, but we love her and are enjoying the process! 👍❤️
@@JustDisc it's a lot of work, but nothing better in this world!
@@markadkins9290 Appreciate the advice 👍
Do you have this in ultralight weights?
No they were both 172 grams
I love this guy's youtube channel I thought mine was good go check it out
This disc has been out for ages? What kind of KP fan are you if you've "been looking for" this driver
hella hard to find Kastaplast molds regularly in stock in US stores tbh
@@jacobcolon5295 you are on the internet, you can buy anything you want and it comes to your mailbox.
@@colinmcmasters5819 I use OTB frequently, I'm not a moron. i'd prefer to feel a mold in my hands before buying it though, and not having much available to see in brick and mortar stores makes it harder for me and prob others to better understand Kastaplast's lineup
Just because a disc has been out for ages, doesn’t mean we can’t review it. Everybody comes across new discs at different points in their lives. We came across this disc about a year ago, as the channel continues to grow and we get the chance to explore new discs 👍
@@JustDisc Thanks for the review. I’m newer to disc golf and I’ve never thrown a Falk yet.
This disc just looks like it has too much low speed turn to be the best for everyone. Even at high rpms it looks like it dumps a lot at the end of the throw.
We hear you Brekko! It might not work for professional power players but we do still feel that it could a good roller disc for them right out of the box!
