    Let me just say Doug I've spoken to you on the phone and you steered me in the right direction. After doing tons of research and talking to Doug I recently bought a 2850e with loader without even seeing one in person and though it scared me a little I can attest these 2800 series are absolute workhorses. I'm 110% happy with mine. Pulls a 7 foot blade and box scraper with no issues and runs a 7 foot medium duty rotary cutter with ease.

    Love your massey videos. They are the best at showcasing and demonstrating. Great for a person researching before he heads to a dealer.

    Since you probably sell a lot of MF:s for other dealers as well, I was wondering: Do you get any support from AGCO to keep this channel running?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety +3

      We look at it when Massey Ferguson sells more tractors that helps them invest more in R&D and that helps us get more new products or feature upgrades to help our customers. But it would be nice to help recover some of the costs and time to produce from AGCO but our number one priority is to do these to help our customers and it does. Know others benefit too...we get lots of calls from all over the country and actually around the world. Thanks!

    Doug, Denver Bronco fan! I like! Great content, I've learned quite a bit from you! So, how would I find out what my 1547 with 285 hours is worth? Tip of the bucket to ya all! Thank you!

      They normally hate me in Kansas City...especially Elway Days. I have kissed and blessed the Bronco Logo on the 50 Yard line and had Vahrenberg Implement in lights around Mile High Stadium :) Pricing we use the Internet Dealer sites like www.ironsearch.com, www.tractorhouse.com. www.fastline.com www.machinerypete.com Facebook Market Place and others to evaluate pricing and conditions versus what yours looks like, condition and hours

    No rear remote?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety

      Standard Equipment on 2800E Gear Tractors is no remotes. They can be ordered with 1 set Factory Installed or Dealer Installed. 2nd & 3rd Set are Dealer Installed. Your choice and how much you want to spend. Some customer do not want any remotes and ordering with zero remotes saves them money.

    I’m curious of the ballpark price on this tractor with loader. And approximate price on having two remotes and 3rd function installed. Thanks.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety

      Minimum Advertised Cash Price for the Tractor & Loader is $29,429.87. Third Function is roughly $1,200 and each remote around $1,200 each cost.

    Great videos. Do you know if you can do a manual regeneration on these tractors? For example, if its been a while since it did one, and you have a half hour of down time or so. can you do manual regeneration to get it done in a down moment before it really needs it?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety +1

      You can do a Park Regeneration. But the Automatic Regen is the easiest just keep using the tractor and let it do the Regen while your working...unless your in confined space or working with flammable materials. No performance lost while it's doing Regen with a Massey Ferguson.

    Good day sir. Love your tractor videos and demos. I have a question, not sure if you can answer or not. I just purchase this same tractor a 2860 e. I would like to put a work light on it to help while snow removal at night. I see on the back near the right fender the wire harness that goes up threw the rops has two or three unused prongs coming off of it. Are these for a work light by chance that can be operated threw the standard headlight switch? Thanks for all the good info.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes they have power for Worklight there. We have been selling on the 2800E Series is the Sparex S.118198 Worklight. Sparex is a Division of AGCO Parts and offers Aftermarket solutions and your Massey Ferguson Dealer can order from them.

      @@VahrenbergImplement do you think the 2850e would handle a 7 foot rotary cutter ok? I mean enough power to run it and can it handle that weight on the back? Mine is a shuttle shift. Thanks.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety +2

      Depends on the Requirements of the Rotary Cutter. RhinoAG TW27 Rotary Cutter we sell requires the Minimum of 45 PTO HP which the 2850E Gear is only 41.4 PTO HP which is lower than minimum requirement. the 2860E Gear is 48.7 PTO HP or Hydro is 45.9 PTO HP and meet the minimum recommended HP.

    I’m torn between this model and the mahindra 3650.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety

      If you want to compare Apple to Apples need to be Comparing Massey Ferguson 2850E as the Mahindra 3650 is only 50 Engine HP Model not 60 Engine like the 2860E. Not sure what is happening at Mahindra but we have been quoting lots of trades for them and the local dealers 2 have quit selling them and the 3rd is promoting their other brands more than Mahindra. We just keep on selling more and more Massey Ferguson Tractors every year and trading lots of other colors for them. My preowned looks like a big rainbow from time to time.

    • @jasonwoodyard5189
      @jasonwoodyard5189 Před 3 lety +1

      @@VahrenbergImplement the 2850 doesn’t have cat 1-2 implement hook ups. That starts with the 2855m. Does the clutch need to be used to change directional movement? On the mahindra 3650, the clutch isn’t needed. I’m also digging the no regen/def/dpf on the mahindra. I currently have a mahindra 1626 and love it. It’s just not big enough. Lol. My problem is nobody has a mahindra 3650 in stock, and the closest massey dealer is 2 hours away.

      2800E Series which is the 2850E & 2860E are both Cross Drilled Balls. On the 2800M Series Tractors only the 2855M & 2860M are Cross Drilled Balls. The 2800E Series offers a 8x8 SynchroShuttle and that requires the clutch to be depressed to Change Forward/Reverse Direction. They also offer a Hydrostat version in the 2800E series that does not require a clutch. On the Premium "M Series" it is a PowerShuttle Transmission which has Hydraulic Forward/Reverse Shuttle and Does NOT require Clutch to change directions or the 2800M also has eHydrostat option that does not have a clutch. All engines require some form of emissions from EGR to DPF. The New 2800 Series DPF is automatic system that has much longer life between cycles which are estimated under normal use to be about 50 hours between regen and the Filter is estimated to last the life of the tractor. 2600H Series Massey Ferguson does not require DPF and are from 40 to 70 engine HP like the 2605H. Have you looked at the Massey Ferguson Dealer Locator? Lot of New Massey Ferguson Dealers are springing up: www.masseyferguson.us/find-a-dealer.html

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety

      Also if you can find the prior 2700E Series same as 2800E but the Shibauara Engine had no DPF. There are a few of those around still since they didn't start shipping the 2800E series till right at the end of 2020.
